People were nice but The price went up from 14 to 19 dollar for the same service without notice. The technicians don't have experience hooking a trailer to a Tesla so some damage the plastic and some just can't do it. The hooks were super uncomfortable to put in.

As always the customer service at this location is elite. There are plenty of U-Haul locations in my general area, but this is the one I will always choose! I was in a panic and needed a last minute rental I went in and Yalixa made it happen for me. Literally save the day!! She is always so kind helpful and professional 100 out of 10!

Nothing at the Malden Giovanni Plaza location needs improvement. The customer service is elite every single time I visit, and I am here at least five times a month. I always have an amazing experience. The entire staff is considerate, professional, and kind, especially Yelixa. She truly deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service. There have been multiple times when I have been forgetful about securing a vehicle or walked in last minute, and she always finds a way to accommodate me. A few weeks ago, after returning a van, I discovered my car battery was dead. Without hesitation she helped me jump my car and made sure I was safe before leaving. She is not just an employee. She is an exceptional human being. I appreciate her so much and I hope you do as well.

Throughout 2+ decades of using uhal, I am often VERY DISPLEASED and this goes EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA for the one on Rt 16 on the Medford/ Somerville location, HOWEVER I am VERY HAPPY that we found the Uhaul on Broadway in Medford. Great staff and great service.

From minute I walked in to this location, it was immediately obvious it was well run..moving supply store was well-stocked, neat and clean. The 2 young men helped facilitate my truck rental quickly and professionally. Charles and Cam quickly expedited my rental with a smile and worked together well as a team to get me in and out. Truck was clean and even smelled nice...TY for showing me that customer service still exists..

Been with you over 10 yrs was amazed at how clean unit was whwn I finally moved everything out ...after 10 yrs you would expect mice to get in and do damage..honestly could say found very very little mouse droppings which tells me it was just recent that they got into my sofa ...I tell everyone if they need a storage unit to go to you ..I also told the realtor to recommend to their cliental..I can't thank you enough for great care and cleanliness.

The lady who helped me book my storage really helped me out. I was finding the right storage to fit my needs. I walked in two minutes before closing, and she still took the time to answer all my questions and help me pick the storage size to fit my needs. She was very pleasant as I was stressed out during this whole moving situation and when I walked in and had no reservation set. She took the time at closing time to help me find the storage that I need. She was nice friendly and amazing. We need more people in service that treat customers like she treated me.

There was a delay from when I turned in the truck and auto transporter so I was worried it wouldn’t get processed in time before my rent period was up. I tried calling but couldn’t get through. Fortunately, it did go through before my rent period was up.

I had such a great experience at the Malden location! Even though I arrived late, the employee who checked me in was kind, patient, and understanding, which made the process stress-free. On top of that, the Manager came in on a Sunday, something you don’t see often these days. Their professionalism and genuine care really stood out. Highly recommend this team!

All of them was rude overcharge me threaten me harass me and mind you I paid him every day they overcharged me they charged me $67 for a $21 rental then they charge me 47 and they said that I should have looked at my receipt so could tell everybody was looking at it the one on Broadway is the worst as you all you can ever go to the gym you they manipulate you and they overcharge you very poorly bad I would never ever recommend this place to anyone

Had rented storage space at the Malden location even before U-Haul took it over. They have made improvements since they have owned it, and it feels very safe! What a waste of my peoples time working with UHaul , after I saw that the reserved space was not available we cancelled Immediately,I went to a competitor down the street , was loaded in and on my way in half hour , I spent a half hour at your location after spending a half hour a week before pre registering and setting up payment , only to find out your rep could not access any of the correspondence I was sent by your phone rep , and was not interested in looking at the numerous emails cut and emails I had on had , I'm in customer service and if I operated like you guys I'd have no customers, I never complain but you guys take the cake for how not to do things

I started out at a different location but I made some mistakes with my truck and storage reservations, so I was referred to Bonnie’s location. I was super stressed but Bonnie made everything so easy. It was a Saturday which also happened to be the first of the month so I know they were super busy, but even still they were all so nice and accommodating. Working in the service industry myself I know that how happy your staff is directly correlates to how well customers are treated. The team actually looks like they enjoy working there which honestly is rare these days. The location is great as well!

To help deal with historically severe heat waves, top-floor indoor climate control at this location may benefit from adding a couple roof vents. Put another way: venting the heat from the highest point can be more cost-effective than fighting the sun with air conditioning. We had such vents in our chicken and baled hay barns. Sealed them off in the winter.

My experience was much worse than “below average”. My reserved locker, even though confirmed just the day before, was not available when I arrived. This was because (supposedly) someone had used the “e-checkin” service, but checked into not their locker, but my reserved locker!! How can UHaul allow people to do this? No solution was offered and no other lockers were available at that site - Medford, MA. I finally found an alternate at another UHaul site. But at a cost $45/mi th more expensive than the locker that had been guaranteed to me. I want a refund for the difference from UHaul. And, heads up UHaul, your new self-e-checkin prices is highly flawed. Please email me to arrange for the requested reimbursement. The staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful, really terrific. However, the office on Eastern Ave was significantly understaffed. I realize the pandemic has made hiring difficult, but I hope you're doing your best to hire the appropriate number of employees. More problematic was the fact that even though we'd reserved a unit, it wasn't available. Why bother letting someone reserve a unit if you're not going to actually hold it? Luckily, the other location in Malden had a unit that was a bit larger, which was unfortunately $100 more per month. While we did get one free month, we should have just been charged the original amount of the size we tried to rent in the first place, plus some sort of discount or offer for the inconvenience.

This is not representative of all staff at this U-Haul. The process by which we rented a unit was horrendous to say the least. I believe it took me close to 90 minutes just to secure a facility and had a myriad of transactions (debits and credits) to make it all work. Another inconvenience is all the extra fees (lock fee, environmental fee, service charge, etc). All those hidden fees made it feel like I was getting scammed. If you bundled it up and only charged what was advertised in one lump sum, I would feel less taken advantage of.

Bonnie and her staff are first class. She is very respectful and honored an agreement I had with another U Haul facility. She is professional and her operation is seamless. I think I'll keep my items there as long as I could.

This storage facility is exceptionally clean...Clean, bright facility with several doors for convenient move-in. All the staff at this location were extremely helpful and friendly. Bonnie, the manager, took me on a tour of the facility and I was impressed with the clean, shiny floors and my unit was bigger than I thought. Willy, Karoline, Brittany and Denise all helped facilitate a seamless move-in...Thanks for all your help !!!!

This storage unit has the best staff everyone that we came in contact act with was great. The staff is very knowledgeable, pleasant and very helpful I would definitely use this this storage facility again. I would like to also give a special thank you to Manager Bonnie she was wonderful to us and she has trained a staff that does there job correctly and talks very highly of her. This was my first experience with a storage facility. From day One the whole team there was excellent!!!! Walked me through every step. When I needed to downsize a bit, Bonnie, put me in to exactly what I needed. I can’t praise them enough there. Awesome facility!
