took 1 hr and 10 min to schedule access to my ubox. was switched 3x with long waits to find out they were not able to schedule access. at on point a switch brought me to an open line and for 15 min I overheard a staff person having 2 personal calls - I listen for 15 min their call was for a longer time. the staff person never answered the call.llllllllllllllllllll

There was an extremely long wait to pick up the trailer, however, that was due to one customer and the staff did the best they could in the situation. After about a 20 minute wait they finally called another staff member to help with customers but the total wait time was close to 45 minutes. I would recommend having another person available right away when someone walks in instead of waiting to avoid the line up of people.

I am very disappointed with my experience today. Although they offered to reimburse me, a part of my vehicle was ripped off during the hitch installation. Also, I did not receive a phone call when my vehicle was done and had to call to ask the status, even though I left my phone number and asked to be called when it was done. The store manager did not seem to be very professional or care about customer service.

We waited 1 1/2 hours to get a truck. The next day we rented a trailer telling the sales person that we may need to use it several days and return to another state. They said it would be fine just to let them know. When we call that evening they told us we could not take that trailer out of state and that it was due back at 6:45pm. We had rented it for a 24 hour period but because the sales person messed up we had to pay for 2 day rental for a less than 24 hour time. We had it approximately 20 hours.

I Had a very poor experience. I rent a lot of trailers and trucks but have never had to wait almost 45 minutes in line when there was only 2 people ahead of me. I had a 1:00 reservation and didn’t end up leaving until 1:45. I am not a happy customer after this experience. The staff was nice But they are greatly understaffed and there wasn’t a manager on duty to help so I called and mentioned my concerns to him which didn’t seem to bother him.

The employees at this location were nice, but they were more concerned with the customers who WERE NOT STANDING IN LINE but with customers on the phone. The employees were calling people who had reservations, but were not at the store yet. My daughter had a reservation, I prepaid for everything and she still stood in line from 10:00-12:00 and FINALLY left the parking lot at 12:10. Very very frustrating!

I waited over an hour to get my rental at 1 in the afternoon on a Sunday. I watched a half dozen confirmed renters be turned away. When I asked a question to the manager he was not helpful and uninformed. The prices are great and the equipment was clean. The brakes on the truck were dangerously poor. I think Uhaul should consider raising its late fees to renters. Reliabilty/availability of equipment is the #1 factor of its business model. Please teach your employees how to navigate your rental site so customers can move through the process faster.

There was confusion and contention while waiting in line. The process to intaking a customer, understanding what they need, and fulfilling that need felt very manual and ancient. For example, if a customer approached the desk and said they needed something the uhaul employee would have to physically leave the desk to find another person to take care of the customers request. Why isn’t there a paging feature for the uhaul employee? Another issue is the uhaul employee pulled out what appeared to be a personal cellphone to take picture of my drivers license. This raises a lot of concern in the customer because why would they need pictures of my personal information on a phone? I don’t know who’s phone that was but they have my information. Another process issue- why would an individual who already made a reservation for a truck have to wait in the same line than someone who haven’t? Create a line for those who went through the process already and planned ahead. This would create an incentive for customers to reserve beforehand and ultimately save uhaul time in store. Ultimately, uhaul needs to invest a lot of time reviewing their current customer journey and how it can be refined for varying customer types while also asking the question, “at this point in the customer journey, what is the customer feeling?”

The customer service was really slow and the process of getting the equipment and truck took about 30 minutes when we had prior reservations and arrived early. In addition to the service the team member made remarks about each other that were inappropriate and made the team as a whole seem unprofessional. I would never go back to this location or recommend it to anyone else. I sincerely hope that someone with the ability to help this location get better sees and takes effect to this review.

One suggestion: more flat bed moving carts are needed for the storage area. For the amount of people moving in and out on Saturday, June 22 - - a few more flat bed carts would have been great!

This is strange that all you want to review is the location. Who cares about the location? It's the service that should be asked about. And the cost...yes, that was too much. Overall, I will find a different place to rent from if at all possible.

I did recommend this location to my son's roommate who then rented a cargo van for his move. The service was great and the wait time time was not excessive. A pleasant experience.

Had an initial appointment time for receiver/hitch installation April 28th 11:00 and was told should take no more than 2 hours. Arrived 15 minutes early, stood in line for an hour to get front desk only to be told main technician/installer just left for the day! Was told I could wait but may not be completed until 5pm or reschedule. I rescheduled for the next weekend 9am when they opened. I was also given $50 discount for my delay. First in line for appointment when opened, was told again would take no longer than 2 hours. Left my vehicle, came back 2 hours later for pickup, waited 30 minutes to be told vehicle not ready, waited another hour for vehicle to be done. Was given another $10 off for delay. I appreciate the discounts but my time/schedule more important than $. Think this location under manned for business traffic I saw on my visits. Appointment time/wait times need to be adhered to!

I was renting a trailer for the day. I have to say the the whole process (although not real complicated) went very smooth. From the front desk, to the hookup and the return. Everyone was polite and professional. The only suggestion I have is to come up with a safer way the lift the tongue of the trailer on and off the hitch. It would save your employees backs.

I have rented at this location 3 or 4 times in the past 2 years. This location has a great inventory, but they are woefully understaffed. The people working there are pleasant enough, just not enough of them. Only 1 person at the check-in desk and one outside and one who was trying to do both on a busy weekend at the end/beginning of the month. Waited 20 minutes in line to check in (even though I had done it online). Only one of 4 counter stations were staffed. I was renting a trailer, so they got me hooked up and on my way (out of the way) right away while the truck renters were waiting in line outside to pick up their trucks. Drop off was smoother, even though yard guy seemed a little confused and sleepy and his handheld device was giving him trouble. Moral of the story: don't be in a hurry here and do plan on waiting in line. Do as much of the online check-in as possible.

As I was in the process of moving my stuff, I encountered a breakdown earlier. The movers were able to get the van started. Between 12am and 1 am, I stopped at the speedway gas station of Jolly street Brooklyn park to put some gas, after fueling the van, it could not start. A police officer had come in to purchase an item, I spoke to him about the situation. He stayed with me outside, why I was trying to get someone on the line from roadside assistant.

Check the equipment is fully functional...the ramp on the vehicle that I received was very difficult to pull out. Maybe it required some maintenance or it was starting to fail. An individual could really get hurt trying to pull it. That isn't normal for this.

When I initially rented the trailer the staff was friendly and accommodating. The trailer was older but obviously had been well maintained and recently inspected. The wheel bearings had brand new dust caps, likely being repacked recently. A couple of the tires were brand new which was relieving. It towed great and that’s all you can ask for in a car hauler. Thanks again you guys for a great experience. I’ll be back next time I need a trailer or a truck. *Additionally I would like to mention that the electronic based system you guys have introduced has taken away from the customer experience slightly. This is not a reflection on the staff they were great, but the guy checking out the trailer and the guy checking me back in both had obvious trouble with the tablets they were using and tried to brush it off. I work in a position with similar tech issues and we have to do the same every day. Just keep improving every chance you get to streamline that process. Thanks for hearing me!

Reserving said it was possible to use the mobile app but it wasn't ready and the employees had no idea how to help us and it took 45 minutes for us to get a truck. The mobile app also didn't do well with picture taking and lost some of them and didn't ask to take others when prompted by the person on chat. While return was much easier, the employees were still there after hours with the door open so the return key slot was open for anyone to just take the keys, not very secure. I would recommend educating your employees on the mobile app or remove it as an option.

I was on hold for 10 minutes. I drove to location I was still on hold and employee was just standing doing nothing. So I asked how long are going to keep me hold? Not to impressed. Rented equipment asked if the rental return was open passed 5 when they close and was no. So I was to leave it outside the front door.
