Staff was great. Truck had 3/4 tank of fuel. Had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to get the truck on an already tight schedule. Check engine light came on approx. 50 miles away after 'topping' up the tank before my 9 hour drive. Key would not come out of the lock cylinder until the steering wheel was locked and then it was a 50/50 chance it would come out. Otherwise an okay experience. I just wish the truck was at the destination I asked for in Bordentown NJ, after all $2 000 and I have to waste my time to get the truck??? And a friends time and gas..... This is the second time I had to go find the truck on a previous trip.

Hours state from 7-7 so I booked in-person pickup. My order was changed a day or two later (not by me) to virtual pick up. I called to make sure the items I bought would be available to me. I did not receive the furniture pads I had rented. Had various issues picking up the truck using the 24/7 share which resulted in a 30 minute delay. Once we had the truck, all was good and drop off was fine.

you overcharge me for my mileage customer service Was sucks .the little girl or whatever and the little boy was very rude.. No smiles. I definitely would not rent from you anymore. and I would never recommend anyone to you guys, rip off. I rent a van for three hours. I went 75 miles a full tank just like where you had it and you still charge me $145.

Returned trucks should be cleaned and properly maintained before renting to the next customer. The previous renter had pets, so there was fur all over the place. I had to clean the mirrors and windshield. Also, service light was on. Otherwise, the member at the counter was extremely professional and knowledgeable, he was able to help me get the reserved truck after self pick up failed.

Upon checking in the agent was rude and did not want to check me in! After repeatedly telling her that the app wasn't working she finally checked me in 20 minutes later with an attitude. The truck was clean on the inside but crashed up and dirty on the outside. The damage on the drivers side door was so bad that in order for the door to shut it had to be slammed! I was given a truck with an 1/8 of gas left and barely made it to the nearest gas station! After returning the truck I noticed a charge for returning it with more gas than when I received it! I am waiting to hear back regarding a refund!

I have rented from U-Haul at least 9 times throughout the years. Look up my number if you don't believe it. 9175879729. This time around, U-Haul representatives all seem to only care about collecting a check and they are Not there to work for it. Office staff appear lazy. I Didn't feel that they cared about how my rental experience went. Sad cuz I valued myself being a U-Haul customer.

I moved from Toms River to Mt Laurel, so when my drop off location was changed, it was harder for me to find a gas station. Google maps promised a BP gas station before I got to your drop location. Google maps was wrong. There was no gas station. I was not about to put more miles on the truck at 9pm driving around in a town I'm not familiar with. A little grace and a refund would be greatly appreciated

When I picked up the truck it was filthy amd had a 1/4 tank of gas so I immediately had to put gas in it. I've rented a number of trucks from this location and never had these issues before

The hours online don't match the hours of the store. Plenty of times I've gotten off work Rush there because the answering service and online says they're open till 5:00 and I would get there before 5:00 and the office is closed. Or the answering service and online says they're open on Saturdays and this specific store wouldn't be open on Saturdays. Causing me to have to pay a late fee 2 months in a row so that's frustrating.

You can make sure trucks have been serviced before renting them out to customers. Five minutes on the road and I got a low tire pressure light which means I had to stop to add air. I was told on return "Oh yeah that tire doesn't have a sensor." Wouldn't that have been nice to know when I received the truck? After move was completed, the truck wouldn't start. I'm in Brooklyn, NY on a busy street, double parked with a truck that won't start. I had to call AAA for service. I received the truck with a gas tank 3/4 full. Because it's impossible to judge how much gas to add to the dollar, I returned it with a full tank. NO credit was given towards my final bill. This isn't the first time I've used U-Haul, but certainly will be the last.

The manager worked with me for the last couple of years. My storage unit door was broken for almost 2 years. It made it difficult for me to go in and out my unit. I had to bring someone with me to help push it up. It was dangerous because once it was up, it could come crashing down. I had to move because I got frustrated.

The guy at the Burlington location seemed annoyed that he had to do his job. Every time I ask him to do something he huffed and puffed. If you don't wanna work on a Saturday just say that! The two individuals that help me at the Somerdale location we're extremely polite and helpful but the gentleman at the Burlington location needs to work on his people skills and if you're stressed out take a day off because I don't pay money to feel like I'm beyond a annoyance!!

The absolute worst experience more than my first time. Always receiving misinformation on rates and availability. I will never use uhaul again and proud to share that with every single person I know. Thank the lord for social media so I can share it with those not in my immediate circle. Shame on this company for the lack of customer service quality and systems in place. I contacted multiple times to have issues resolved. Nothing and still haven't received a callback from the first complaint filed.

I was told to vacate by 7/30/22 due to discontinued RV parking which I complied, when I was paid through 8/7/22. I have a letter from the storage manager verifying this. I was not offered a refund for the remaining fee. I have been charged $10 for a long time for 24/7 access and my access code only worked 9am-5pm. I mentioned this to management and was never corrected nor the $10 charges refunds nor removed from my bills. This can be verified on my account statement. I always paid on time!!!

Initially I reserved a unit online & when I arrived was informed the size of the unit was not available at the location requested & the system should not have allowed a reservation. The agent was helpful in finding another location that could help and things worked out great..

When I was closing my storage I had somethings that had to be removed the staff told me they were going to remove it and because they couldn't removed everything they threatened me with the police I just felt it could of been handled different but I have my lawyer on speed dial and also have the text when they said they tried to remove everything I will never use that storage again because of that I paid 180 for a whole year. I'm just glad I'm done with it

My unit got a bad mold infestation and a lot of it had to be trashed there was a hole in the ceiling insulation but to be fair i moved out of state and rarely had time to check it and didn’t mention it to the staff so no harm no fowl could’ve been remedied they are super laid back though would rent again

The only complaint is check out. I turned in my clicker and key on Saturday and wasn't officially moved out in the system until Monday.

The unit was filled with leaves and debris. There were lots of spiders and webs. It was not clean at all. We are still waiting for the email showing that our account has been closed. No one was in the office when I stopped by during office hours to ask about the email that I had yet to receive.

I was pleasantly surprised to find my belongings in their original condition. With inclement weather and crazy swings in temperature, I was expecting the worst, but the storage unit held up nicely!

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a storage unit facility. Because I didn't have a unit never been to this place in my life. The managers and other staff was not very helpful at all. I wanted to talk with a manager, but all they would do is email. After speaking with your service representative, them sending emails to the managers, that I wanted to speak with them. They would never call. And you could not send responses back to them. Thought it was fixed the first time. Unfortunately they still did not fix it. I called multiple times.

We were told $70 plus tax on ssthe phone and then when we got there, the guy that wrote up our paperwork upped it to $100 plus tax. That's $30 something more a month. Well I wasn't very happy about it.

Our items had been stored for at least 4 years. The billing system is convenient and easy to use. In all this time we never felt the need to check or come in to inspect our goods. We felt if anything had gone amiss that you all would have informed us. Using uhaul gave us "peace of mind". Merci

Cleanest U-haul I've been in. Staff was busy but fast and friendly . They offer free guest WiFi and self service options... which I wasn't aware of until speaking with them and will be sure to use in the future. Very convenient.
