I selected this location so I could return overnight, however I was not notified until the afternoon before that I could not nor park on-site. Both very inconvenient for my use. Also I was having trouble with creating an account and the guy inside was unfriendly and would not offer any assistance because I chose “self service” which I only chose so I could return overnight. When I returned the lady was very nice. This is my second time at this location, the first time was great experience but I will not choose this one next time.

When we arrived at the location the employee informed us at that point we could not return after hours at this location…if I had known that I would've booked elsewhere…we had to extend our reservation which cost as money all because it's no longer 24/7 like your website advertises. Very misleading and will not be using U-Haul in the future.

Picking up a truck before business hours is a little difficult I was frustrated. However the phone person was very helpful also the person that had to open the office helped too had they not helped I would have been late for work so 5 stars for them

The average review is not due to location employees. This nonesense about self checkin is ridiculous, we are replacing the human contact with computers. The human touch or interaction is true customer service.

I was told to vacate by 7/30/22 due to discontinued RV parking which I complied, when I was paid through 8/7/22. I have a letter from the storage manager verifying this. I was not offered a refund for the remaining fee. I have been charged $10 for a long time for 24/7 access and my access code only worked 9am-5pm. I mentioned this to management and was never corrected nor the $10 charges refunds nor removed from my bills. This can be verified on my account statement. I always paid on time!!!

I would not recommend this location. First, the vehicle we had was old. No power door locks, windows or phone charger. It was all banged up. The vehicle pickup was terrible. There was no air conditioning in the office during a heat wave which is unconscionable for staff and clients. The credit card machine doesn't work. Although I requested touchkess/automated service this location doesn't have this service. Although I booked my truck for 24 hours I couldn't have it for that long. I would not recommend this location. Corporate office should provide better support To this office.

This was not the location I originally booked. I was transferred here, which was an additional 20 minutes away. they did not have the loading dolly I had ordered. I don't know if I was charged for the dolly or not.

Pricing guide is misleading. Transaction was supposed to cost $19.95. Ended up costing $80 for a rental to something for 2 mile distance, for 10 minutes. I was supposed to get a refund, but instead I got charged additional fee after I returned the truck!!! Money-hungry company

I had to inspect the vehicle upon pick up. Yet you give yourself hours to inspect after drop off. Then charge for damages, with no proof it happened in my possession. I will not let this go. Thieves!

Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. No parking at site. App is a PIA to use: some features don't work correctly, it's slow and the process took me almost 15 minutes to pick up vehicle and required assistance from an online agent.

The only thing that this site needs improvement on is the parking waiting area, which I understand is not an easy fix. Other than that, the customer service is great, the staff has always been very helpful.

Pros: I rented a pick-up. Was VERY pleased to find a full-size truck with a full 8' bed! Unfortunately, the previous renter left a bunch of broken glass from a mirror sprinkled around the bed. I had to clean that out before I could safely place my own load. The condition of the truck was a little rough - a number of previous dents, creaky doors, and what sounded to me like a mild valve tap. That all said, the truck performed like a champ; no issues while driving it. Excellent brakes. Will definitely rent again from this site. As long as you don't intend to put more than 50 miles on the truck, it's a very good rental bargain. PS the customer service was commendable!

Initially I reserved a unit online & when I arrived was informed the size of the unit was not available at the location requested & the system should not have allowed a reservation. The agent was helpful in finding another location that could help and things worked out great..

Professional and friendly staff at Sommerpoint, Blackhorsepike, Toms river, Burlington and call center. Except one person who runs his mouth like a non stop motor, not sure where his location at. Not going to mention his name. But he's rude. Otherwise everything was great. Don't let one bad apple ruins for everyone. Merci.

I requested a hand truck and dolly but none were available. The truck had less than a half tank of gas when I picked it up which made it very hard to put gas in when I returned. I guessed on the amount and it was more than originally in the truck

Everything was ready when I arrived and although I had several transactions, the checkout was efficiently handled. When I called about extending my moving truck, the gentleman was very attentive and helpful. My experience was good and alleviated some of the stress of moving. Thank you, U-Haul of Burlington!

2nd time renting from U-Haul. Choose this location for the 2nd time due to the great service from staff during the first time. Staff is very friendly and accommodative to customer needs. Marketing team - The stickerage game on inside of vehicle could use a major over "haul". The language used is dated & tone deaf. "You dent, YOU PAY!!" Maybe stickers could promote safety in simple terms, convey a tone for brand/UHual culture and promote future business. Transaction/web process is excellent!

I was charged for extra miles. The associated didn't leave his seat to check the vehicle. I was over charged a few hundred. The associate that was at the facility when I returned the vehicle was polite and directed me where to contact customer service. Very upset that I have to wait for the charges to be reversed.

The truck we were provided was not road worthy. The steering was dangerously loose, the passenger door would not close and the drivers side mirror kept dramatically moving out of position blinding the driver to what was behind this truck on the drivers side.

The van smelled very badly of cigarette smoke. The customer service employee in the business was very helpful and polite regarding the situation. HOWEVER, The price I was charged was $20 more than my reservation estimate and I drove half the miles I gave in my estimate. I was very disappointed! I find it very convientent to rent a van for a few hours when I need to pick something up and this made the experience will have be reconsider renting a van for such a short excursion next time.

The link to upload my driver's license wouldn't work. Kept getting reminders on my phone to complete my rental process and couldn't. Also couldn't complete trying to rent the truck online. Credit card wouldn't go thru, had to call the 800 number to complete setting up.

I was told I was getting charge 100 for 2500 mile I only did 50 and had the truck for 4hrs. Everything in my unit had mold and bunch of leaves. Had to throw away a couch that was new and half my dishes because of mold. Staff is nice and friendly.

Upon returning my rental I was told there was a hole in the roof the metal was clearly bent and curled the item I had in the vehicle was a 48 inch wide kitchen island that was flat on its back as it was the only item in the truck. The vehicle was brought out to me and when I asked don't I have to inspect it I was told it was fine. During my conversation with the representative I was told the young man pulled the truck around for me to be nice because I was a older person mind you I rented there before and inspected vehicles it was also mentioned the truck was just st returned Wednesday after being in the shop for two weeks. I was actually being accused of the hole of which even f I inspected I probably wouldn't look in the roof of the truck. I am very offended with the whole conversation and attitude that was expressed towards me. If I was be treated nicely because of my age then I can honestly say I am too old to lie. There is no way something lying flat on the ground made of wood can reach the roof of a truck and puncture it I even went below my miles and had the truck overnight because of no late drop off. This experience was offensive!!!

I was expecting someone to be at the location at 7am to help obtain my truck. No one was there and I had to do it via my phone. This was not what I signed up for so it took me longer to get going. It needs to be clear if someone is not going to be assisting you.

When I was closing my storage I had somethings that had to be removed the staff told me they were going to remove it and because they couldn't removed everything they threatened me with the police I just felt it could of been handled different but I have my lawyer on speed dial and also have the text when they said they tried to remove everything I will never use that storage again because of that I paid 180 for a whole year. I'm just glad I'm done with it

My unit got a bad mold infestation and a lot of it had to be trashed there was a hole in the ceiling insulation but to be fair i moved out of state and rarely had time to check it and didn’t mention it to the staff so no harm no fowl could’ve been remedied they are super laid back though would rent again

The only complaint is check out. I turned in my clicker and key on Saturday and wasn't officially moved out in the system until Monday.

The unit was filled with leaves and debris. There were lots of spiders and webs. It was not clean at all. We are still waiting for the email showing that our account has been closed. No one was in the office when I stopped by during office hours to ask about the email that I had yet to receive.

Although there were a few issues with my truck rental, and arranging the storage unit with the representative on the phone, once Kevin (from Florence) and Christine (from Burlington) got involved, the process was incredibly smooth. We even got more than what we were expecting!

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a storage unit facility. Because I didn't have a unit never been to this place in my life. The managers and other staff was not very helpful at all. I wanted to talk with a manager, but all they would do is email. After speaking with your service representative, them sending emails to the managers, that I wanted to speak with them. They would never call. And you could not send responses back to them. Thought it was fixed the first time. Unfortunately they still did not fix it. I called multiple times.

We were told $70 plus tax on ssthe phone and then when we got there, the guy that wrote up our paperwork upped it to $100 plus tax. That's $30 something more a month. Well I wasn't very happy about it.

I have only had my unit for a month, and I lost some clothes, designer shoes, sneakers, and personal items do to water damage from a leak/whole in the roof.

The manager and employees were excellent. They helped me out any time I called or visited. I never felt as though I was a bother at anytime. Trust me I was bother with tons of phone calls and visits due to my very stressful circumstances.

Our items had been stored for at least 4 years. The billing system is convenient and easy to use. In all this time we never felt the need to check or come in to inspect our goods. We felt if anything had gone amiss that you all would have informed us. Using uhaul gave us "peace of mind". Merci

Cleanest U-haul I've been in. Staff was busy but fast and friendly . They offer free guest WiFi and self service options... which I wasn't aware of until speaking with them and will be sure to use in the future. Very convenient.

I moved in no problems but a month later I moved out and they changed me for a month I didn’t stay there I called the central office n no one has contacted me yet I’m very disappointed with UHaul

My storage unit was full of mice poop. My shoes was chewed up and I had to throw TVs away because my cords was chewed. Waste of money.

My property was damaged. It was covered in mold and completely covered in dust and spiders like it was stored in a shed in someone's back yard. I was told it happens and wasn't offered insurance day 1

There was quite a bit of water damage on the stuff in the front of the unit. You can see where the roof was leaking. Staff was friendlier at the Florence uhaul. He used to work for you. Bring him back

It was horrible! I made a reservation weeks ago, get to the storage facility to store my things with a set price. We pull up after a 16hr drive, the rep tells me my room that I reserved was gone.

I was there almost six plus years and over the years and change in management the security and service went down. Security was almost nonexistent when I left. This app won't let me type everything.
