The location closes at 7pm and I got there at 630pm which was the time of my reservation. I followed the directions to get my vehicle and everything was fine until I had to retrieve the keys from the key box. The keys were not in the box. The instructions were to go inside if I couldn't retrieve the key but the front office lights were out and nobody was at the desk. I rang the bell multiple times and no response. I walked back to my own vehicle to call customer service. I waited 30 minutes and a guy finally came to the front and I told him which car I rented and that there wasn't a key. After 30 minutes from my rental time I finally got the keys to the truck. I get the truck and instead of the gas gauge being on a half tank it was on a quarter and the mileage wasn't correct either. The end of my rental, my charge was higher because the gas gauge wasn't at a half tank. I'm very dissatisfied with this service.Denesha M.

I made the reservation online at the Lumberton location 3 days before my move. I received a text the day of the move telling me had to get dropped off. I call the Lumberton location who informed me the reservation was changed to a different location ( I did not receive a email or call about this change) while I was on my way to the Lumberton location. I then called the burlington location and spoke to a very rude customer service agent telling me " it is what it is". I had to take a uber to get the truck which cost me a extra 100 both ways.David M.

Originally made my reservation a few days prior to usage date (Federal Holiday) - when making reservation, what I wanted wasn't available, and the website said that a customer representative would call me. Nobody did. I received a text message that my reservation would be at the Florence, NJ location. Upon arrival, the GM at Florence was very kind and tried his best. Unfortunately, the tow dolly that he had was not compatible with my needs (according to the computer). He tried calling several other locations and corporate to assist me, and due to it being a holiday, most locations were closed or did not answer. Eventually, he got ahold of somebody from corporate, asked why would they send me to him if they knew his equipment wouldn't fit my needs, and corporate sent me to this location (claiming I would get an email confirmation, which I didn't receive). Upon arrival to this location, the worker was uninformed by corporate that I was coming, but luckily had no problem assisting me. This review is a praise for the workers of the Florence and Burlington locations, and a ding on corporate, who dropped the ball on my reservation at each step. I greatly appreciate the individuals who were able to assist me on a federal holiday.Anthony H.

Very unhappy I use the truck it stopped on me two times how to use jumping cables ask other people for jumping cables went back to the location and the young man said that they do not have cables and I had to call customer service and now I brung the truck back on time and charge me $12 worth of gas very unhappy my number is 908-422-9049 truck number Tm387le would like some type of discount cuz it was an inconvenience my bill was $68 and some changeSusan H.
My experience changed how I felt about Uhaul. I will never rent from U-Haul again. The customer service representatives are sneaky Liars who leave people stranded and try to blame them for renting out raggedy equipment that is unsafe and should not be on the road. I reserved in Florence but had to go to Burlington to pick up truck almost 10 miles out of my they would not even let me return the truck to Florence had to go back to Burlington another 10 miles out of my way put gas in truck before we returned the truck the same amount as what was in there when we picked it up and they still charged me another 10 dollars for gas so I am not happy and will never use your services again and will not recommend you to any oneElizabeth D.

I scheduled my uhaul 2 weeks in advance. I was never contacted about the rental. I scheduled the uhaul for 12 pm. When I called the original drop off location, they had no idea about a uhaul being picked up. After being transferred around 4 times when I called uhaul, they told me my rental was never scheduled even though I paid $200 plus dollars 2 weeks in advance and Luckily a truck was available 20 minutes away from the original pick up location or I would not have had a truck to move my stuff. The whole experience was terrible as far as getting my truck scheduled. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone If they have other options. And if any one does use uhaul, be sure to call them way ahead of time cause they Probably not call or schedule your truck.Zackary M.
