On 11/12/24 I went for a U-Box the staff member who helped me had cero training on what they were doing, the other staff member who was in charge of front desk, was helping three clients at a time so that's that. Second, I was told by the site supervisor that my card wouldn't be charge for the U-box or the actual stationary storage unit, which was a lie, they did charge me $112 So I had to move out all of my items, before yall, try to double charge me again. So no I won't recommend your company to any body.

My wife sat on hold for 45 minutes attempting to confirm availability of the trailer. I called repeatedly and was placed on hold before any acknowledgment. Upon arrival seven people were in line with one person working the counter at one point attempting to handle three guests at a time two of which were arguing the fact their vehicles were not recommended or capable of towing. I made an online reservation to avoid the counter as advertised, however was forced to wait nearly thirty minutes to pay and pickup. Michael was very pleasant and helpful to get things moving however was extremely overwhelmed and additional resources should be considered

The information provided via website and on-site was drastically different. Only due to the kindness of other customers did I recieve accurate information. I ended up having to change my reservation and am glad that I did. You are leaving yourself open lawsuit from what I and obviously others have experienced.

You can improve on the vans. They are a little outdated. I understand the price for rentals are affordable however there is a huge room for improvement with the trucks.

It took a long time to get trailer attached. Associate was not able to fit the trailer on the hitch. I had to drop it on to get it to fit. Later the trailer would not come off the hitch. Had to keep attached for the entire rental. This was not convenient. On a positive note the Associate who helped me return the trailer was very fast and very good. FYI, Trailer had a small hole in the front. Was not able to know if I was getting a ramp or the other type of 5x8 until I arrived to pick up the trailer. Would be better to know if trailer is ramp or lower profile BEFORE renting. Previous rental in Oxnard, CA a few weeks ago was much easier with better service. Thank you,

The truck didn't drive well at all and the second time we drove it the engine light came on and that was the day that we returned the truck and they were renting it to someone else and I don't know how they can rent it to someone else with the engine light on. I would rent another truck from them however I would ask more questions to make sure the truck is in better running condition then this one was. The staff was very kind, friendly etc!!

My only negative comment was that the box door was totally unsafe. It was very flimsy and looked like maybe it had been broken into before and repaired by a 10-year-old. I was very concerned for the safety of my life's belongings.

Staff at counter were very professional and friendly. Staff at rear loading site were very helpful and attentive. The location is managed the best I have ever seen. My only issue was with the app upon taking delivery; very difficult to upload photos.

Ignition wasn't working right. I came in with the fuel level above what the reciept said I left with and I was charged for fuel. This was a deal breaker. No drivers visor which made driving into the sun impossible. I will be recommending Home Depot or Ryder. The bogus fuel charge sealed the deal

Our overall experience with the UBoxes was great. All the online interactions were smooth and communication was consistent and helpful. We need to specifically recognize Daisy, the driver who dropped and picked up the UBoxes. She was very on time and very helpful; we couldn't have asked for a better in-person contact.

I was totally misinformed about the cost. My cube was delivered to the San Antonio warehouse however, when I called to find out if I could get it delivered 1 day early they informed me it was not set up for delivery to my house and it would be an additional charge. Needless to say i was very upset because this is not how I had originally requested. I also never used your furniture pads.

They gauge the customers, not giving enough miles for area selected, and gas gage changed as soon as vehicle moved. Complete ripoff.

Lose the phone steps of scanning driver's licenses or any other confirmations. Just have an in store way to process customer information. It is such a hassle to do with the phone.

I ordered (and paid for) a furniture dolly and was told when I arrived that there was no furniture dolly available. Then, when I dropped the UHaul off, I was charged for the "missing" furniture dolly. $80!!! For something I had no control over.

I dislike moving to no end, but the staff are always friendly, knowing, and go out of their way to help me! I absolutely love the U-haul in Canyon Country of Sierra Highway! You guys are the Best (no smoke)!!

The staff is amazing and friendly. Always a clean bathroom too. Out of my 20 years in LA with several storage units all over the place. Your on-site manager Freddy has been the absolute BEST. He runs a tight ship over there. In fact, my experience at this location has been so positive I always rent trailers and trucks with UHaul. I've had that unit for years and in the beginning the lighting wasn't that good for the indoor area. Now it looks well lit. The security and code is impeccable. A lot of good security cameras too. It feels safe and that's important to me. Another weird thing, is that the store is layed out nice and I always want to buy something and I really don't need it. One negative thing is that the rodents chewed my Persian rug and my stuff kind of smells like pest spray. It comes with the turf. The rug was old. Just a little constructive criticism. The purpose of this unit was to bring utility to my garage, home-room, and business free of operation and I was very successful with this happening. I am very grateful for your storage unit and the support progress and opportunities I was able to create for it. Manager was not helpful. Fell behind on my unit and wanted to keep but at the end after paying the balance off completely he continue to charge outrages fees for wrong dates. I asked for a complete summary and denied my request. Not helpful at all. They just wanted to clean and move us out. Email confirmations have wrong dates and one after another. I wouldn't recommend storage units here. Ending up moving down the street elsewhere. Less headaches.

I wish we could access the storages 24/7 considering the only time I would often have to access it was after my work hours. However, the staff was amazing. GM Freddy was an amazing help getting our contract set up with moving out of our storage into U-Box containers. Matt and Danny were eager to help get my assistance with the moving done in any needs I had with moving supplies and moving U-Boxes, as well as Lily and Angela.

U-Haul of C.C. is well managed in that EVERY staff member is polite and well-informed (I'm the "ask-many-questions" type). I have 2-Units & am condensing to 1-Unit, hence this "rate my move:In" Review Request. This facility "runs a tight ship" resulting in the clean & organized appearance YET Human (very helpful) also.

There was some confusion when I first went in to see about a storage unit. The person I talked to said there was a ten foot by ten foot unit available and that if I wanted it I had to rent it then as there was no reserving. I went to get money and when I returned I was told by a different person that unit was reserved. I was put on a waiting list and was called two days later as a different unit had become available, so I did get that unit. It worked out just fine thank you.

Freddy's and his crew were great! Jesus, Drake, and Freddy could not have been more accommodating to me during my time there, as well as when it became time for me to move out. My things were damaged and bad conditions your storage is the worst I ever rent. I should get my money back. The Dirt wasted over well and running everything..Olson I payed for muchas for the Uhaul truck.

The gentleman helping us didn't seem to know how to check us in. I'm assuming he's new but with how much he struggled it felt like he still needed training or someone assisting with the check in. Our unit now has a few different peoples information on it simply because my spouse and I can't have the same address? How does that even make sense. Then when confirming what I reserved he rattled off the wrong unit. So we had to correct that. Once we got through the actual check in he handed us a map and flagged down someone to take us back to the unit. This is where I would rate the entire experience poor at best. There are random vehicles just stored everywhere. There is no clear access to our unit. What was most frustrating was due to the fact you can't actually drive up to our unit (poor planning and layout on uhauls behalf) he didn't mention maybe backing the trailer up so we could at least cut down some of the foot traffic. It's frustrating because we rented a rather large unit and you physically can not drive up to the thing. Had I known how poor the layout was I wouldn't have chosen the facility at all. Staff was ok but clearly needs training. The facility itself is a mess.

Nathan was a great help! He was able to give me the rental, show me to the storage unit and showed me all the conveniences of opening up the liftgates and the trolleys tonhelp move my stuff to my storage easier. Danny offered great customer service when renting out the truck as well, offered to help move out of the spot, checked to make sure i had my dolley, and made sure the truck rental was ready to go and safe to use!

The fact that I paid rent on the 14th and was not pro rated when I closed my account in the office is robbery. The unit is going to be re rented within days and on the website I did not see anything advising I wouldn't be refunded for remaining time. Definitely not recommending uhaul and probably avoiding it as much as possible.

Busy busy place both on a weekday & Saturday. Above average experience because of Fairelynn who is amazing and extremely helpful and friendly given how busy the place is. Poor experience due to the Manager (not sure of his name) who was rude and condescending. I would not recommend for storage, there's just too much going on with moving vans, retail store, etc doesn't seem secure or convenient.

The Staff was great and especially the manager Freddie. I used the storage unit for over three years and Freddie lived up to all the agreements that we agreed upon the day I rented the storage space. I renting an inside temperature controlled unit. All the items remained clean, safe and in original condition. Highly Recommend!

On hold time for calls was over 30 mins each of the three times I called. Frustrating when my issue could not be addressed on line.

Accessing the gate was often a challenge due to various crates/trailers/trucks etc being obstacles. In some cases this also impeded access to the building itself. The sloping ramps (loading and off-loading) were a deal-killer. I am quite relieved to not have to deal with that again

So, after booking a 26ft trailer two weeks in advance and getting cancelled three days in before a move and tight timeframe, thankfully Lorna from the Storage King location was so kind to help us out and give us some tips. I get that people extend their rental, which is what we did Saturday morning to be met with scare tactics and a severely upset employee from Canyon County location. Corporate UHaul is great with customer service but there really should be someone who does quality control checks on independent stores. They will be receiving a review from myself that will reflect the service I received.

We always use U-Haul for all our moving needs and let our family and friends know the ease of it online. I really think U-Haul has a unique advantage over all others. For the first time, we used the recommended movers.com to help us. Much to our dismay, the movers in AZ cancelled at 11:00AM. We were charged and additional $140 for the last minute replacement. As a company, they are not up to the same standards that U-Haul has. Even though it was their mistake, they made us pay for it. Our hands were tied since we were on a tight schedule. I hear that you are not associated with them, just thought you might want to know about our experience with the first mover group, especially since they didn't show up, we can't put that experience on their website I am told. We have always enjoyed U-Haul and the 26 foot truck was totally awesome, a great drive and a great deal! Thanks to U-Haul for always being there for us and the extremely fair pricing! The African-American lady was very rude anytime you try to ask her questions you get an attitude and being very rude I will never ask anybody to go rent from your place again ever if she wants people to understand you have to put the code in before you just go with the gate up and then she should have a sign there saying so clearly or they should look carefully for the word except it or something when the keypad is pushed in and I just assume you should know her job she

Federico has helped me for years. He's one of the best and deserves recognition. Only thing I feel he can work on as a leader, is having his facility available. They never answer their phones at the canyon country location and it can be very inconvenient to get simple questions answered. Please relay this message to him and his staff.

Everything fine.....except I lost my key to my lock (that was in the unit when I rented it).....Uhaul did not have a record of the key so i could obtain a duplicate. Therefore i had to call a locksmith for $100. It will teach me to not misplace my key. It would be nice if Uhaul could always keep a duplicate of their clients keys. Everything else good.

I had reserved a van in advance. When I arrived there were six people standing in line and only one person processing arrivals. I had to stand for 35 minutes. The young man behind the desk was cheerful, but the facility was woefully understaffed during Christmas week. I also had to re-enter data that I had done in advance, online.
