Management locked our unit without even an email. Inappropriate and not the way to correct policy violations. We didn't have a nonpayment issue but we used an inferior lock, locking us out with a more expensive one with no notice. Very inconvenient.

Bought wardrobe boxes and clerk gave me the wrong sized bar to go with the size of box I ordered which made them very difficult to use as there was about 4 inches of bar sticking out from the side of the box and they therefore would not close properly. Made closing the box difficult and made it impossible to stack them beside each other without damaging other items or without being a safety hazard to anyone moving the box. For $15 a box, this was very disappointing as it did not function for the purpose purchased and now makes resuse of the box impossible. A very unfortunate error made on your employees part that made my move actually more difficult that it should have been. Very disappointed

Reserved online with 24/7 mobile pickup service. Arrived at location and tried to pick-up with the mobile app. I was informed that the vehicle would be "hand-delivered" but the location was closed. Phoned U-Haul, waited on hold for a long time. Was told van not prepped. Directed to another office that was open. Neither the staff on the phone or at the office were apologetic. Gentleman at the desk said "oh we don't offer mobile pickup service any more, I keep meaning to speak to my manager about that." This implied that this was a known issue that had impacted others. Why was I encouraged to use mobile pickup if the service is not offered? I was a half hour late because of this mix-up but no one at U-Haul seemed to care - just shrugged their shoulders and made it seem like I did something wrong.

Just disappointed that as per the customer service representative, said they would email our final receipt, not having to wait for them to go and check the truck and the mileage and gas. I confirmed with them, yes we will email your receipt. We returned the truck yesterday afternoon at 2 - 230 pm, no receipt!!

I was originally given a mobile/remote pickup in an alternate location at the other Mainway St. UHaul. At this location, there was no key in the lock box, so I had to call uHaul customer support to get my reservation transferred to another branch. The whole process was a frustrating waste of an hour. The process for mobile checkout of vehicles is slow and inconvenient. On uHaul app, a page for mobile checkout didn't load, so I had to switch to the website. The mobile/remote checkout wouldn't let me use my wife's phone number as the contact verification number, since I had already used it as my own alternate number. So I had to call around to work colleagues to see who was awake to take the call. Very annoying.

I am quite perturbed at the fact that your fuel gauge on the truck i rented does not work proper. I went to put in the fuel that was needed to get back to the level the tank was at when I picked it up being 1/2 a tank however, I kept putting in fuel and the gauge hardly moved until i had put in over 75 litres which to me seemed very excessive for having driven the truck approximately 100 miles. Only when i left gas station and drove awhile did the gauge move from the 1/2 full tank to full as has been noted in the final documents i received from you. It is unfair that I paid $76.00 in fuel to adhere to your policy only to have the gauge not operational or intended to work in this fashion. I would appreciate you reviewing this matter an issuing me a credit. I have the fuel receipt if you wish to receive it.For future use you should ensure that tanks are always full when picked up and returned so as not to have this problem. Your attention to this matter will be appreciated as will the credit..... thank you...Peter

I had an email go to my junk mail saying I had to do something regarding my rental before the next morning - I didn't see this until the next day and was charged extra for not doing it. This is something that should have been told when I was picking up the vehicle

The team was awesome. Starting with the Manager Tracy. We called with short notice (Friday for a Sunday morning rental.on the last weekend of the month even. We were having trouble finding any things any where. Tracy took the time to listen to our situation and then came up with an excellent solution. Thanks so much Tracy!! If that was extra special service, when I got to the store this morning I arrived early before opening time which was at 9. I got there at 8:30 and after they finished checking in the trucks from last night the woman working let me in a few minutes early to get me off on my way. I didn't get her name but special thanks to her. The truck and process went smoothly and that help us out tremendously. Thanks to the whole team for making this part of our move a breeze!!!!

The employees at the drop off were very friendly and accommodating. I told them of my experience when picking up the equipment and the condition that I had received it in. They were very upset with the condition of the equipment and apologetic that that was my experience. She told me that my experience wasn't representative of how UHaul does business. She encouraged me to report my experience.  I would like to add other than the cleanliness issues the truck drove nice and felt very safe.

The service at the location during pick and drop off was amazing. Thanks to those individuals it made the bad part of my experience forgivable. The bad experience I had was I booked over the phone and was told I would have a truck and I would pick up in Stoney Creek. Then A day or two before I was moving. I got a call saying we don't have any 26'' trucks at all. I called and had to threaten and make this big mess on how that is not my problem and such that they then found me a truck. But it's very unfortunate that I had to have the stress and anxiety. Moving is already stressful and a lot of work it would have been nice to have one less head ache.

I was sent out to get the truck and wasn't given clear directions as to exactly where it was. After I walked the entire lot in the rain I went back in to get help. A very nice person walked me out to find it and it was blocked in behind another truck. They went out to back to get the key and let me out.

Let me say this location (3245 Mainway, Burlington) has been the Only u-haul facility that I have used where the staff (Jojo, Mia and all the others) were friendly and extremely considerate!! Kudos to the management! My tainted opinion from using the other locations was erased by my experience at 3245 Mainway. I rented a dolly and furniture covers and was told to grab them as I left the store to pickup the truck. When I opened the back to put the items in there was already a bag of covers hanging down and a cart. Perhaps I should have known they were in there. They both had plastic seals which I had to break just to make room for furniture - even though I didn't need either really. I discovered that there is a charge once the seal us broken but when I explained the uhaul rep was kind enough to waive them. Anyway, I think those items should be optional. Otherwise, very happy with everything. The site is clean with tons of room for trucks and well organized return.

My Storage Unit was missing the pull rope and I am Not sure if the light bulb works on a timer or it Needs replacing. If the above mentioned was in good condition, I Would have given a 5 star. Overall Experience was Good and Will come back again if and when I Need Storage again.

I'm a local Real Estate Agent and the Uhaul phone line was impossible to get through BUT when I walked into the new Uhaul on Mainway Ave I was extremely impressed. Terrific service, very well organized, helpful and easy to find. The Manager was great, friendly with a very chipper, organized staff. I will tell everyone to go here, great to see customer service so important, great job!!!

The staff have been amazing. The gentleman working last night was so friendly and genuine. Tracy has been so accommodating throughout the whole process. Moving is a stressful time and this uhaul location has been so helpful. We will continue to use this location/facility and have already recommended it to friends. The only reason I said no to the access hours being convenient is because there is no access code to the storage facility yet. I understand it will be installed sometime within the next two weeks... so not a big deal. We are still very happy with this location.
