DEBORAH BU-haul bought this storage facility after I had been using it for several years. Pros: The staff are polite and helpful Facility is clean Trucks and packing materials available on site. Cons: No security system on units, no entry restrictions Systems staff have to use do not function well (or staff need to be trained) Policies are stupid (i.e. you have to use THIS kind of lock, even if you already have a better one) Pricing is high compared to competitors AC units on site need maintenance (they are LOUD)

HENRY GIt took a very long time just to rent a hand truck. It seemed that of the three people in the store, two were trainees. It would be better if the people were trained on the software system before they try serving customers.
Alan FChecked out with a 10' van truck. The contract said that the fuel tank was full. The contract required that I return with a full fuel tank. Actual use mileage was 18 miles. Tank fill-up took 5,38 gallons costing $15,69 additional expenses. Numbers indicate that the truck only got 3,3 miles per gallon OR the tank was not actually full at checkout as indicated by the contract. I reported this to the staff upon return with no offer to reimburse for the extra out of pocket cost.
GERALD TWe worked with a smart and delightful woman whose name we neglected to write down. She was extremely knowledgeable with regard to U-Haul's equipment and what applied best to our situation. She was efficient and very pleasant to work with. We have used this U-Haul on more than one occasion and found other personnel to be equally as good. We would recommend this location without hesitation.

WILLIAM LWhen I arrived, the employee could not find my reservation. He asked repeatedly for me to give him the same information. He used profanity at the computer several times as he tried to find my reservation. The price I was quoted online was less than what I paid at pick up. Employee could not explain charges when I asked.

JOHN BThe U-Haul bed was fairly dirty when I picked it up. I didn't mind for my use but makes me nervous to return it in similar condition for fear that I will be charged. The after hours check in process is very slow and tedious. Love that this location always has a lot of stock but had to walk a mile plus to retrieve my truck during pick up and that was super time consuming considering I then had to drive it back to where I parked my car to grab supplies.

MARY MMy storage unit was broken in to. Virtually all of my valuables were stolen or broken by the thief. I had paid thousands of dollars to keep my things safe and secure. And as it turns out I could have just thrown my things away and saved the money.

Sheldon BNot all the trailer lights were working, no other trailer available, trailer leaked in the rain, door strap broken. Dropped trailer off after one day, but then was charged for two extra days, waiting to get credit back.

JOSIAH DWhen I picked up the truck, they told me fuel was between 1/4-3/8 full but was actually less than 1/4 full. When I dropped it off, fuel was slightly above 1/4 full but receipt sent after I left said 1/8 full. Charged over $70 for this. I know you people don't actually even refill, but charge for notional gas. The guy I dropped it off to wanted no interaction, either.

I requested another equipment and was told that's the one which was assigned to me. My experience during a 13 hours transfer were very difficult due to a faulty equipment.

Megan CThe gas gauge was broken, stayed on 1/4 tank the entire time even though I spent over 60$ in gas driving only a distance of 55 miles, the gauge never changed position (stayed on 1/4 tank) & U-Haul charged an additional $40 I feel scammed!

Allen M | Expérience généraleIt wasn't the location's fault per se. They were great. The TCS in the vehicle kept coming up as an alarm (not working). The horn and the cruise control also didn't work. It wasn't easy or safe to drive without these in place. I notified the facility but no one could really do anything about it. I would like a credit, at least toward a future rental as a result. Also, please get the truck checked out before letting someone else rent it.

Karen F | Expérience généraleMaintain maintenance schedules on all vehicles and keep them clean inside and out. The first vehicle I picked up had a leaking rear passenger axle seal, which deposited a puddle of fluid on my mother-in-law's driveway. The pickup location was very accommodating and switched me into an equal vehicle that at the time seemed to be a more reliable choice. Although I made it to my destination with the replacement vehicle, the transmission/engine did not like going past 60 mph and there was significant bucking in the transmission. Before dropping off the vehicle the "check engine light" came on and stayed on yellow. I relayed all of the information to the drop off location. Neither vehicle that I had the opportunity to use was clean or well maintained. I cannot in good conscience recommend this location to a friend or family member. However, the staff at this location was extremely friendly and accommodating.

I am still receiving invoice with lien and penalty notice for not paying in Sept. Staff was very friendly when renting but not in settling bill on rental.

eileen g | Premières impressionsFor at least three days there was a huge pile of cardboard boxes blocking the entrance to the facility. It made exiting and entering the storage facility a hazard and prevented moving large pieces in and out. The staff did nothing to address the issue during the time. On another occasion, there was a dog grooming vehicle parked outside the facility that had a hose connected to the faucet inside. The hose was not connected properly and water was spilling everywhere for the entire hour I was present at the facility. The faucet was directly behind my unit and eventually was started seeping into my unit into a large pool. The water could have easily damaged items I had in my unit had I not been moving out that weekend. I informed staff and they communicated the issue to the person who was operating the dog grooming vehicle. No one offered to clean up the water in my unit.

The experience with the instructions from the toll free number to check in after hours were less than complete and confusing at best. We wet the alarm off every time we were there (because we didn't have good information/instructions). The bad part of that is that is seems to happen so often that no one even cares if an alarm goes off as there was no response.

The electric only goes on few a few hours at night which is not good for boat battery I've been told. Rate increases of over 25 % over the past 3 years we decided to move it elsewhere. It was clean, safe and convenient to Jordan Lake.

I had to frequently bring my personal leaf blower to clean out off my RV space. Also - please ensure that there is always access to the RV dump station if needed. I'm happy to have this facility near my home and have the opportunity to have storage so close to home. I am slightly surprised at the higher price of the outdoor storage but the staff let me know. They just put an increase price in.. It's tough these days with everybody charging higher prices, it's almost makes it impossible

UHaul is among the best but my last unit had a very bad rodent problem. I placed mice traps and poison ☠️ n the unit several times and the little critters still damages furniture. Just FYI. Thank you

The locked entry door to our facility (Building B near unit 012) has been broken for almost a year which mans our unit was NOT secure. We brought this to the attention of the staff many times and were told this was reported but it was NEVER fixed. We have been customers since May 2021 and had several units with U-Haul, our last unit was a 15x20. We planned to stay with U-Haul indefinitely but rates kept increasing and the 20 % rate we were offered when we secured our unit and prepaid one year in advance was taken away by the area manager without any discussion. We appealed this decision and were told there was nothing that could be done to keep our business at the discounted rates we were promised. You lost a good customer who was paying $4000 annually for storage. We are now using Public Storage.

I complained to the office staff and got no response of any kind. And rain got in at some point, causing us to lose two twin mattresses and a sisal rug. You charged me $164,95 on 8/20/2023. I moved out the same day. Will I get refunded that charge?

When I got the the storage facility I asked if I could use a dolly and was told by the manager that I had to rent one. Your customer service sucks. It's all about the money with Uhaul.

The online reservation system is very easy to use and make changes. When I called the facility with a question that's when I learned the system allowed me to reserve a space that wasn't available. That's the reason I didn't choose 5 stars. The staff have been more that helpful.
