Give them a clean truck. Windows and mirrors needed to be cleaned inside and out before operating. Back was not swept out. I found the self checkout difficult, but that's not the locations fault.

My truck was not properly cleaned out and had not been checked out ahead of my pickup to make sure the auto transport lights worked. I had to wait an extra hour for the technician to change out the fuses, delaying my departure (14 hour drive). The latch mechanism on the auto transport ramps did not latch which made it risky when loading the car. Again, this should have been checked in advance. Additionally, the wind shield wipers on the truck were totally worn and useless in clearing the windshield of rain. Lastly, the lightning port connection for charging my i-phone did not work so I had to stop and purchase a cigarette lighter connection devise to connect my phone. I should have been compensated for the poor service and quality of my U-haul experience but no one seemed to really care at the rental or drop-off location.

Completely scammed charged over $60 for gas charges when the tank was sent back at 1/4 as I was told it should. I have a picture of where the gas was when I dropped it off I will be getting in contact about this

The service at this Ludwig location was amazing the clerk was very attentive and kind! Much different experience than when I stopped in the Niagara Falls location on Dec 18 at 6 pm and the clerk was rude and on his phone playing games texting.

The office in charlotte but Buffalo traffic office is terrible customer service need to be trained they talk over people and not listen and I would never use or refer a single soul awful experience. And she was mad I corrected her so when went to pick up my trailer she add $100" worth of thing on it terrible. From 1 to 10 experience a zero just customer service. Lady at Cheektowaga office was great phone traffic is terrible

Got to be kidding me with the dolly strapped in truck taking space and charging 7 bucks. I had 2 dolly's already. Had to move load around to avoid the dolly. About 20 mins to shuffle and load fridge without cutting and getting billed. I declined the dolly and blanket, yet had to haul them around. Cost me time and space. And right at the edge of doorway! Not good.

U-Haul app froze and I couldn't complete my return correctly with photos. Truck was clean but was very noisy in front end. Location only open until 5pm.

It's basically an out of the way location and it was small. If you could expand the parking area it would be good. But overall it was a good experience.

Very efficient all around - from online reservation system, to great electronic communications via text/email, efficient check-in & check-out, and clean/new truck used for rental. It was an enjoyable experience and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from this location again.

There was a bit of confusion while communicating w a local representative and 800 representative. An 800 agent assisted me w renting a unit. The particular address where I wanted the unit did not currently have office hours. A local representative directed me to a different location to, what I thought was to get access to my unit. I received an access code via text. When I went to the other location, the employee was friendly and professional, but said everything was set and there was no need to come to their facility. I was all set w actions I had taken. Outside of this, all went well.

Used this facility for 3 months to store our daughters things while she was home for the summer from college. We live out of state and choose not to bring it all back home. We were very pleased with the accessibility and cleanliness of the facility. We would not hesitate to from them next summer as well.

Because the storage unit was in an unmanned facility it was too difficult to reach a representative who could assist with unit related activities. I called numerous times about my move out, and was only contacted when the moving van was seen on camera. The facility was well maintained however I am giving U-Haul a poor rating for customer service.

I could communicate with anyone. I had a hard time trying to even use the lock. It took me a minute to figure out how to even put in Is gate code. The unit itself does not seem so secure. Will be pulling my stuff out friday

This was and has been the first and most horrific experience. I pay on time every month since I got the unit and I never received a call to ask me about it or nothing they just closed my unit. Not to mention it was paid for the month they closed it no refund no response from anyone. Horrible company

Facility was clean, good lighting, storage unit was in a very convenient location in the facility. Staff I wish to thank since they possibly saved me from losing everything in my unit. Since after unloading the Uhaul truck than loading up the storage unit I was so exhausted I pulled away without putting a lock on it. Thankfully someone from your facility sent me a text & email a few hours later telling me I had forgotten to place a lock on my unit. Luckily I was able to return back to facility and put a lock on it before anyone noticed or taken any possessions of mine.

The facility is unmanned and therefore we were unable to get a remote to exit and there were no directions on how to get out. Took a while to figure it out. It was all a little *too* independent.

Well lit but not to secure. Some of my boxes were wet. Water inside a mop bucket that had hammer and screw drivers in. The boxes just had plastic containers. Merci.

I was expecting somebody would be on-site to let us in considering already booked the facility. my phone did not work across the border and we faced issues getting a hold of the uhaul folks and used someone's else credit card and information to get the door/unit codes. Please ensure the booking says 'required steps' before finalizing the bookings. my understanding was that on-line steps are convenience and someone at the facility would help us complete the process. I was wrong. once we got the door code and unit information, rest was easy. thanks Nadeem

When I came to move in the attendant at the gate was rude. There was also nothing online that said I needed a gate key to leave after the attendant was gone. The attendant didn't tell me this either when we clearly discussed that this was my first time using the facility. I was trapped on the property and ended up having to call the police to be let out because it was a 60 minute wait on your customer service phone line and I had my 21 month old son in the car. I will not recommend this site nor will I ever return for services here again.

It was a bit confusing as we didn't expect no one at the location. We couldn't get the lock to open, but thankfully Dave from the West Seneca store called and assisted us. He was very helpful. The app pickup seems nice, but for 1st timers, its not easy and was unexpected. Next time we need to rent 1 though we'll know what to do.

Honestly, I feel like I was treated like a child when I walked through the door. I had accidentally pulled into the drop off zone, and was told to move my car (that is fine) then I was told that I wasn't going to get any service until I moved my car. I hadn't even had a moment to walk out. I'm tired of paying money to be spoken to like a child. Also, your return 24/7 system is a slap in the face to costumers who have always returned their trucks, to be greeted by someone to look it over. Now I have to do your job, and if I don't, you charge me? $20 Convenience fee? That is ridiculous. I checked my own van in. Normally I don't write reviews but I'm tellin' ya, moving is stressful enough. This process shouldn't be stressful.

The truck handled horribly the front end was very loose and wandered all over the road. Apart from that the truck was ok but it was a hassle trying to get the keys from the lockbox that system could use some work.

2 things: 1. Everything was great. I would respectfully ask that Customer Services Reps (at this site) SPEAK........MORE......SLOWLY.....AND....CAREFULLY so that those of us who are ......"Chronologically Gifted", i.e,.OLD! (and also hard of hearing) can understand what they're saying. "Very easy to self-check out....."---NO, it wasn't so easy, actually. OF COURSE! when you know how to do something and/or have done it before, sure, ANYTHING'S easy. I DID manage to figure it out and DID "self-check out". I'm just asking for a LITTLE MORE clarity and patience. EVERYTHING ABOUT the actual rental, the price, the location, the quality of the equipment, etc. was ALL EXCELLENT. 2. It's nearly impossible to call THIS ACTUAL SITE. I have rented here several times, and talking to the personnel AT THIS SITE has always been clear; easy to understand. I'd much rather talk to someone local than to someone in Phoenix, Idaho, or Oklahoma (all places that answered the phone when I finally got connected to a live person). THANK YOU again for doing this great business.

Jenn and Dave deserve recognition for the job they do. There are numerous moving and storage businesses in the area, but your company has two phenomenal employees and I recommend your Ludwig Ave. (Cheektowaga) location to all of my friends and colleagues because of them.

All experience here great. Clean vehicle, professionally done by helpful personnel, very, very ......."easy"......... "......." = well, for an old timer, it was a bit of a challenge. My only problems (and they were minor ones) were: 1. It takes "forever" to get someone to answer the phone. I'd much rather talk to someone AT THIS LOCATION, with whom I've had very, very good experiences before. When you call, you're (eventually--could be a 30 minute wait on hold....) usually talking to someone in Utah, Ohio, Montana,........etc. 2. I wish that the explanation of ALL the requirements could have been handled A LITTLE MORE SLOWLY. I didn't understand much of what was said; I just trusted the people talking to me AT THIS SITE. They were very helpful AT THIS SITE. Thank you!, and I will definitely rent FROM THIS SITE again.

I had a terrible experience with U-Haul during this most recent renting. I went to two locations, truck I rented wasn't at either, I was told I would be refunded but that never happened. Then the movers I found thru U-Haul destroyed all my stuff, causing over $5000 in damages. I am not happy with my experience at all.

Give some form of grace period time. Moved a recently deceased relative apt furnishings into storage. Was running late back with truck. Due back at 10am got back at 12 noon. Was charged another WHOLE DAY of rental, dolly and insurance. No prorated fee or anything. The sad part is I wasn't even finished. If I knew they were gonna charge ALL this extra $$ I could of continued to clean out apt. SUCH A RIP OFF !!

Our 1st location did not have a truck so we had to come here. The lady at desk was very nice. But, we were charged a gas service fee and a gas fee even though we returned it at a quarter tank which was what we got it as. That's $64 extra dollars that we were OVERCHARGED. We also had issues with checking it in. It kept telling us our mileage was lower than when we left, which, obviously, it wasnt. We had to wait over an hour, at 10pm, for a rep to call us back so we could check it in and not getcharged for that also. Luckily that was taken care of eventually. We will most likely not be using uhaul again. Very disappointed in having to drive to another location to begin with and then being overcharged by $64.

There is a guy named David Lewandowski who works there he drives a black truck. He is very racist And RUDE. I have made Several reports of him Harassing me Even calling the police and He still is employed! He also made racist remarks and comments to me(he lucky I didn't slap the s**t out Of him then I would b in jail!) Uhaul on Broadway in Cheektowaga N.Y.!!!! I was very happy with the service at this location. Everyone I spoke to was always very kind and helpful. The ONLY issue I had was the lock I originally had on the unit rusted so bad I couldnt get it open. An employee came out to help, which wasnt easy for them either even after spraying a couple different things on it. It finally did open but I HAD to PURCHASE another lock. I felt this was unfair as I BOUGHT THE ORIGINAL LOCK FROM YOU...that store! It wasnt my fault that happened and could not be used. I felt the store should have replaced it as it was U Hauls reccommended lock sold in yoiur store. If I purchased a lock elsewhere or brought one in I would have felt differently. But I was told at time of purchase , that lock was the best. I believed, I purchased. The Lock malfunctions, and I had to Buy another. Not really fair.
