The customer service at this location was horrible. The person who rented me the truck made me wait until he was done spraying their parking lot down before coming inside to rent the truck I had reserved. The truck also stunk like cigarettes. Not a good timestephen Y.

I didn't like the fact that I rented the U-Haul for 24 hours at the time of reservation they asked me if I could have it back in six hours then when I picked it up to take it out they asked me again to have it back in six hours I did not commit to having it back in six hours therefore somebody who is expecting it didn't get it I kept Uhaul the entire 24 hours because I needed it . so somebody didn't get a U-Haul rental because you double booked it.. I reserved a 15 ft truck one month In Advance and had my confirmation. When I arrives to pick it up they said they didn't have a 15 ft truck for me. I had to use a 10 ft which resulted in 3 trips to my storage unit and 2 extra hours costing me an additional 375 $.Kelly S.

The folks at U-Haul Bridgeport/Anmoore/ Clarksburg, WV were helpful and friendly. They even did their best to make right the wrongs of the pickup location even though they had no fault or responsibility of that location. The store was spotlessly clean with nice displays and helpful staff.Jeffrey B.
The location itself did a very good job. The lady whom checked me in was friendly and polite. Where my issue comes from is the company as a whole. I was supposed to pick up a truck in Fairmont wv at 9am on Saturday. I got a text message that Friday saying I couldn't pick up a truck until 3pm in Bridgeport wv. Due to the change I had to drive more which ultimately cost more money and really put us way behind for the day. We had to be completely out of the apartment that evening. I put gas in the truck but apparently wasn't enough and got charged almost 30 bucks extra. Reluctantly I still paid the bill which was about 50 bucks more than what was originally quoted. The next day I checked my Bank account and seen another 60 bucks was taken from my account. The Company is saying I had the truck for 2 days. I'm not the smartest but I don't think 5 hours is 2 days. Also was told that the 60 bucks was from other fees which was NOT agreed or even brought up. I put in a dispute and praying this gets resolved. The extra funds should go towards buying something for our new home, kids, etc, not in Uhauls pocket.Kyle M.
We initially were sent to Fairmont. The truck there had a missing wheel hub and no grease in the bearing. We were told go ahead and drive it. My husband is a mechanic and refused the truck because he said it would either seize or catch on fire leaving us stranded along the road with a full truck. I was very disappointed in this part of my experience. The truck was not safe but was being told to be rented.MICHAEL H.

My experience was overall excellent. I personally goofed up by only allowing myself a 6 hour window in which to drive to my destination which took an hour to get there and an hour to get back. Which only allotted my 2-helpers 4 hours to completely load up a 1 bedroom apt. After realizing my error and being told that my UHaul was re rented immediately after me. I scrambled to come up with a better scenario, the UHaul employee hooked me up with a different UHaul that still fit my needs. This one I wouldn't have to return until the next morning. Considering that I had to get this all done in only one day I truly appreciate the UHaul employee working out a better plan for me. I highly recommend the UHaul business located at 1119 Anmoore Rd, Bridgeport, WV. They have everything on site that you could ever need when moving. The trailer was not clean and ready for pick up. We had to wait until it was swept out. One tire was low on air, had to be filled. Prayed it would not go flat on three hour ride with loaded trailer. Had terrible smell inside. Only one employee working. No verbal instructions or demonstration on how to disconnect trailerKarl H.

There was no customer service. Rude. I have no intentions of using this location again & have started to spread the word to others. The young man working there should be fired. I've never seen such indifference to a customers needs as this individual had. He is clearly in the wrong line of work. The van I rented had damages & was dirty inside. Mechanically it ran fine & there were no problems with it. Treating customers a bit more decently goes a long way. This isn't the only place a person can get a rental. Color me disgusted.JOHN AMOS L.

Air conditioner did not work in truck. I put 26 dollars in fuel in truck and was still charged 9 dollars in fuel and the truck was only driven 36 milesDorianne D.

I'd say the biggest thing to improve on is quit advertising the rentals for a price then making the customers pay not 2 times the amount but right about 10 times the advertised price! This company sucks and I will never use you again.Dakota S.

Since moving from Florida, I swore I'd never use U-hall again. But because you have more trucks than other companies I had no choice when I needed a truck recently. The trip from florida was a bad trip. I could never hear the radio because your truck engine was so loud.. You lost my Lenovo laptop or someone lifted it from that dealer. N.MLK / 9th st N.St Petersburg Fl. Check your records. I called many times and each time I waited 20 to 30 minutes just trying to find my computer. Everytime I called it was like no one knew anything I finally gave up. In the future I will truly try to not use your company ONLY WHEN I HAVE TO. AZ in WV.Anthony Z.
Truck was dirty inside, air conditioner wasn't charged/blowing hot air, lots of dents and scratches on truck, no straps included in truck, ordered appliance dolly and furniture pads/location didn't have either and offered no apologizes but told us we could purchase themVirginia B.

My whole experience was bad. I literally live 30 seconds walking from a place that does uhaul rentals. I book my truck online almost a month in advance to be picked up at this location. I was called later and told I could not pick it up at that location and would have to go to the main rental location which is almost 30 minutes away. So instead of being able to walk to pick up and return my rental, I had to find someone to take me there to pick up the rental and had to have them pick me up after I returned it. The owner of the original place I scheduled the pick up at offered to go pick it up so I could get it there but uhaul would not let him. On the day I was to pick up my rental I called a couple hours before my pickup time and asked if my rental was ready to pick up at my scheduled time. I was told it was. I was dropped off to pick up my rental and was informed my rental had not been returned yet and they did not an available rental. After about an hour they gave me someone else's rental so who knows if that person was able to get a replacement rental. This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any business. I will NOT recommend uhaul to anyone and I will never use your company again. I understand things happen but your company made everything harder than needed and wasted several hours of my time which in turn put me behind on my move.Joshua Kent W.

I was charged an extra day for the U-Haul even though I only had it for one day. I returned it 15 minutes before the end of the time that I was supposed to have it. When you haul sent me a text saying they were going to charge me for an additional day I said that I did not agree with the charges. I was charged anyway. When I tried to call U-Haul I was told that I have to wait on hold for 52 minutes. This is unacceptable. I will never recommend U haul to anyone ever again.Rebecca B.

Only one person working at location. Should have been 3 people working their. Person working their was excellent. But when outside helping customers store becomes a shoplifters dream. They were very helpful with hooking up and taking trailer off. One complaint I had was trailer had a low tire and come to find out a hole in the tire when picked up. Filled the tire up once and then the tire blew out with the trailer loaded on the interstate. Afraid to drive fast with only one axle it took much longer to complete the transition. There were other trailers they could have rented to me and the manager knew that but didn't want to. It was dangerous for me and my family and inconsiderate on your part to rent something that had a whole in the tire!!Mark Steven M.

Rented two 6x12 box trailers. The low cost for each was appreciated. The staff hooked the trailers up for us and unhooked when we returned. I had stopped by two days earlier to reserve the trailers and was treated well. The only down was one of the tires had a hole in it that I was unaware of and it blew with the tread coming off. Was able to get finished and back to station as it had double axels.David Ralph W.

The facility was great but there was only one employee working when there were lots of customers. He was working his butt off but couldn't do it all.Alexander S.
The main worker Kyle (not sure if he's a manager or not, he seemed to be in charge) was very friendly and helpful when I made the reservation. When I picked up the U-Haul there was a different worker, didn't get his name, while he got the job done, he just had this "I don't want to be at work" attitude. His greeting was "I'm here". He went thru the process, hooked up the equipment and walked away. Didn't explain anything or check trailer lights or anything. Luckily I have experience with the equipment. I rented a Car tow dolly. The tires should have had 65 PSI in them. They looked soft so I checked the PSI, one side had 14 PSI and the other side had 19 PSI. I aired them up. That's poor maintenance. This location is very well equipped, it just needs some consistency from the workers. If you don't want to be at your job, then find something else to do.MATT S.

Had placed a reservation at a certain location. Day before I am called and told that I will now have to drive over 50 miles away to pick up the actual trailer and it won't even be ready during my specified time (9 am on all forms of correspondence from Uhaul on my end but I am told I have an after 4 reservation). Told multiple times I'll get a discount for inconvenience. I show up at the location to pick up my trailer and I am told I now also have to choose somewhere else to drop off (all locations more than 10 miles away now when I first initially made reservation the drop off was literally across the street). Horrible service, horrible wait times, won't ever use again.Jeremy B.

This was first time using a storage rental. They where very willing to help me. I couldn't of met nicer people. They even brought a cart out so I could load everything on it so I wouldn't have to make so any trips. He told me about how I can use their carts anytime.
