Michael a worker locked the front storage door at 4:30pm on Sunday February 9, 2020. The location does not close until 5pm. I asked him if he would unlock it since I had 30 minutes until closing and my unit was near that door. He point blank said No and made me use the rear entrance. Horrible customer service. U-Haul we rented only had 1/4 of tank of gas upon pick up. Customer service gave me the managers card to call on her day off to see if I would be credited back an overage on a closed out unit because they didn’t know the answer and didn’t feel like calling anyone else.

I was charged more at the pickup location than what I was told online when I booked the rental. Then after I dropped it off I was charged $60 more. I received no explanation or anything.

Pick up was great. They were very helpful. Drop off on the other hand was not. The lady was rude, told us we were supposed to check our truck in with our phone, and I didn't sign up for the 24/7 phone. She said the truck needed to be swept when it was swept out before we brought it back. Then she said I would get an email with my total bill that never came. Likely will rent from another location in future if ever need moving vehicle again.

this location has terrible customer service, everyone sat on their phones the entire time we were inside the location. 3/4 of the employees had headphones in the entire time. When we dropped off the vehicle, no one explained additional charges, they just charged our card on file. Once entering the building and asking for an explanation did we receive one. I will not be using this service again. or at least not this location.

Employees should check all trucks/trailers/equipment to make sure all are in good working order BEFORE sending with customer. Employee also did not know how to remedy situation, causing multiple charges/refunds/charges on two different cards.

being a wet day there was mud on the trailer we rented, they had us clean it so NOT to be charged the cleaning fee and then they charged us a cleaning fee.... after supervising the cleaning and saying it was fine.. so not impressed

Truck has severe devastaing issues! When appling the high beams, the headlights would totaling turn off while driving. There were exposed wires in the rear cargo that blinked occasionally. The truck would partially stall while turning in traffic. UHAUL has got to do better, and catch up to its competitors quality wise!

I was first told that it would be $97 for a one way trip from clarksville to dickson. I come into the store and the price increased to 207 for the same one way trip. I unfortunately had no choice because i HAD to move that day. Then the next day of course i get charged $90 for turning in the fucking vehicle? like really? fuck you guys. fuck all of you. $300 for a ONE DAY RENTAL 60 MILES?????? FUCK. YOU.

Employees were using personal phones for company purposes, including but not limited to typing in PII (personal identifying information) and taking pictures of driver's licenses. When bringing up security concerns violations this creates and causes, the owner attempted to pretend this was not a violation or security concerns. When questioning what security measures were in place on employees phones and asking about the BOYD policy her employees signed, she threw Uhaul under the bus stating this is their standard protocol. The employee then was forced by me to use a company device. Once he completed the reservation portion, he then used the company phone for a PCI transaction. This leads me to believe his personal phone would have been used for a PCI transaction as well which would have resulted in a PCI compliance violation. When the employee and I stepped outside, I tried to explain to him that I had no issues with him and to warn him about his employer and how she's putting him at risk of making PCI, PII and security violations. He understood what I was explaining and thanked me. He expressed he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I hope this complaint is read loud and clear and action is taken swiftly as I will be reporting this to Homeland Security, cyber security division, as this places many consumers information at risk (risks have been previously stated).

I told the employee that I was going to Nashville and was only alotted 55 miles. The pickup and drop off locations above are 57 miles apart.There was no way possible to avoid going over my mile allotment so the extra charge for going 29 miles over was very upsetting. Especially after getting the wrong truck, driving only 15 miles, and having to pay $41 to move nothing at all. This incident is just another reason why I will go elsewhere when needing to rent a moving truck.

I would appreciate a no charge policy for getting the wrong size truck. I understand I made a mistake in determining what size Uhaul I needed, but to only drive it 15 miles and not use it to move anything and have to pay $41 dollars for that is ridiculous. That incident makes me certain I will go elsewhere when I need to rent a moving truck.

On my initial confirmation I was given the wrong location. Greg from the College Street location was super kind and helpful. Once I made it to the correct location the process was very smooth. I just would recommend a better system for confirmation so that others do not get sent to the wrong location as well.

I made my reservation online and did express check in period when I went to the location and gave them my name and telephone number they had to take all the information again. They asked me what I wanted to rand, I had to upload my driver's license picture again and basically redo the whole reservation. The trailer had mud on the floor of it. Other than that things were OK. Check in went very well.

This person that rented the truck was from hirerated moving company that does not have a truck of there own !!! I did not know this they didn't show up at my sons apt. Like they where supposed to ,I had no clue how much this uhaul would be. I called and canceled the move because they where so late !! So they should have bought the truck right back !!! And they give you my sons address when they rented truck. He is in military, so the falsely used my sons address as there own. I called to y'alls place to explain everything, hoping maybe to get some of my money back that I rented a truck and was never used to move nothing of my sons apt.thanks

I rented a 17 ft. Truck. It has not been an issue in the past to be able to remove the dolly and blankets from the vehicle before leaving the rental facility, since they are of no use to me. On this rental I was told I could not remove the dolly or blankets before leaving the rental facility because of some corporate policy. Should I need the full use of the vehicle, I find I have 17 ft. on one side for use and 14 ft. on the side with the dolly and blankets. Therefore this costs me 3 ft. of otherwise usable space to haul around U-Haul's equipment........ ( total garbage to me and waste of space that I Paid For to use for other cargo.) When anyone in transportation rents a vehicle of a certain length, they expect to get the space they rented and for that space to NOT BE impeded by add on sales items they do not want or will not use from the company they rent from. So Buyer Be Ware.. You Do Not get the truck space you pay for with the dolly and blankets in place. ( Unless you actually use or remove the dolly and blankets, costing you more for your rental.) S c a m.... anyone ??? What a shame of a company started by a military veteran, operating in a military community.

The cargo trailer that I rented tag had expired in February 2018. It was November 2019 when I rented the trailer. I was a little concerned about that but when I went back into the office to ask about it, I was told the tag was on file.

Everything was cleaned and ready but the AT was not maintained. It had no grease in one of the bearing which caused the bearing to fail and the wheel fall off and cause me and my family to be stranded for five hours.

Computers were down. Card reader wouldn't read our cards. Text where to return after being told to return anywhere. Return at 8 am but return place didn't open until 10 am.
