Incredibly unpleasant experience at the time of pick up. Waiting 10 minutes in line with no ackowledgemnt, I was next in line to reserve a 10 ft truck. The female staff member took an obviously emotionally-challenged woman ahead of me without the courtesy of explaining anything to me. She then asked another colleague, Susan McDonaugh, to check me in. Susan barely said anything to me and raised her voice when I didn't press something that she said was on the credit card screen (but wasn't). She then corrected it but didn't apologize or explain what had happened. She then overquoted what I thought was going to be the total charge and she semed annoyed as she explained. I remained silent. She also seemed annoyed when I asked if I could return the truck Friday because Thursday was Thanksgiving. All-of-a-sudden she went outside with the truck key and I followed, not knowing what was going on. Outide, she waved the keys at me from a distance and said "Here are the keys" I took them from her without saying anything. This is not my first negative encounter with this particular U-Haul site.I will say that check-in today with Alexa Byrd was very pleasant. Mark WiseMark W.

Wiring for the hitch was not done right it was hanging out of the top of the cover . It was not strung out the bottom Like it's supposed to be. !!! My appointment was for 10 o'clock and the they told me that it'sâ€ first come first serve â€œand made me wait while they did someone else's trailer hitch. The staff was absolutely terrible. There were 4 people working and no one was interested in helping in any way shape or form when we were having difficulty entering the facility. They even lied and said there was no other way to access my storage unit. The person cleaning the windows actually told myself and the movers I had hired the other way to get in. The staff inside finally let us in this way and then were terrible when we tried to find the best route to exit. This is not the first time I have had issues with the staff at this site. Alexa was amazing. We were displeased to find out a booked reservation did not guarantee a unit after moving from PA. She listened to us, addressed our concern, stayed very professional and got us a solution we were happy with. In the middle of helping us she had another customer rudely and continuously interrupting and she addressed that with poise. Afterwards she gave us a full tour to ensure a successful transfer. The staff here is unhelpful and unwilling to answer questions. Also there was an issue with my storage unit and it made for me having to have the uhaul a day linger which I personally feel I should not have been responsible to have paid for yet they still charged me.. We had a great time working with the U-Haul Dixie Ln Rockledge, FloridaJOHN O.
Left tire had only 5 or 10 psi. Normal operating pressure is 50 psi cold. This very likely would have caused a blowout during our trip. I had to inflate tires to specified pressure.James K.

Called uhaul to find out where they were at 9:30 AM and was told they would be there in 15 minutes. Employee did not show up to work till 10:30AM. The u-haul database need to be upgraded. Clerks have to update all the rental information even if the customer just rented a similar piece of equipment. Just keeps customers waiting and delays in checking out..Drew C.

After placing an online reservation for a van, I was stopped part way through the self pick-up inspection process by an associate and told the van had been promised to someone else that morning, and I would have to switch vehicles, despite my reservation. After being switched to a different van, I heard the locations employees (who were outside taking frequent vape breaks) calling me "weird" because they didn't understand why I was walking around the vehicle. (I was conducting a vehicle inspection before leaving the lot, something done with self pick-up, and something I would think a U-Haul employee would recognize.) After finishing inspection of the second van, I entered the drivers seat and started the van and immediately a tire pressure sensor indicator came on the panel, I shut the van off for 5 seconds and started it again, the same indicator came on, I exited the van and returned to the service counter to inform location staff, and ask to be switched (for the second time) to another vehicle. The same employee who both made me give up my first reservation, and called me "weird" for doing a vehicle inspection, told me quote "Oh, we're aware, the sensor is broken, it's fine, you can drive it like that." I told her I would not drive a vehicle with a broken sensor off the lot and to please switch me, I had to wait for another employee to do so as she did not know how. Total time wasted was 1:30 hours! I had to extend my reservation into the next day to accommodate the lost time and pay over 70 $to do so! Terrible customer service! Poorly trained staff! Rude and insulting! I was told to drop the rental at this location. It was 22 miles out of my way and I passed several other UHaul locations. Then they tried to charge me for over mileage. The lady waived the charge but I was not happy.KEITH Y.
Although the customer service Personnel are very helpful and kind, clearly U-Hauls customer service line is not set up for the amount of service it is receiving. Ahold wait time of 30 minutes is completely unacceptable. In addition unfortunately the Staffing in this Center is also inadequate. There was 10 minutes today waiting for someone to check me in the end a queue of over five vehicles or equipment. This is also an acceptable level of service. The center was extremely busy and needs more personnel. Finally Personnel were very unhelpful clearly stressed and my experience with them was not acceptable but I'm not sure the fault lies with them. A U-Haul is often necessary. So asking our experience is a little disingenuine. Of course it's acceptable or going to be okay because we have to use it. But you guys have a lot to do to increase the level of service and customer experience at this Center. Your staff is overwhelmed and your telephone lines are clogged.DIANE B.

I stood 35 minutes with a frustrated employee who didn't know what he was doing and no one helping him but rather interrupting him to ask questions for their customer. My daughter and dog were out in the 98 degree heat all this time. I am disabled and needed a storage unit on the ground floor. Everything was great until I rented a storage space. I purposely went into this location 3 days prior to moving in to see about a storage space. I asked for the 89 $storage space and if they had it one the first floor, since I am renting this for my mom who is moving in with me and can not go up and down stairs, because she's going through cancer treatment. I was told yes and shown a unit on the first floor. I even made a reservation for this storage unit. On the day I arrived with my mom's things I was told that the unit I was shown is not going to be 89 $but approximately 160 $.
