You guys charged me a 30$ mileage fee, then also claim to rent out your equipment for 20$ but it ends up being 150$ out the door. You guys steal peoples money and it's not right I'm never using this service again

The dark heavy set guy was rude and not helpful at all cancel my reservation for no reason and made me a new one Milles where off and he just say you need to call told me to walk to the back for my truck I did and truck was park some where else came back inside the store and the guys was you did not look right ask some else else’s and they help great.

I would like to comment about my experience at U-Haul. I used your app in order to use your self service in order to be able to pick up my rental earlier in the morning before the customer counter opened. I was going thru all the steps in order to process my rental on your app and I was "dispatched " and given the 4 letter code to retrieve the rental key. The description of the lock box location was vague, it mentioned the "west part of building" and it did show a picture. I walked around the location trying to find the lock box and thankfully I had glanced at my phone screen and had read the key code because at that point my phone screen locked out and when I swiped it to go back to the Uhaul app, all the info concerning my order and all the instructions that I was processing were suddenly vanished and I could not get back to where I had been. Thankfully I found a nice lady who worked at the location and she guided me over to the lockbox area. The next issue was that the lockbox had 6 locks and so I proceeded to enter my key code on all the locks since I didn't have the app to help me any longer. The locks were not at all easy to open and I started to get frustrated. The nice lady then found a manager and he came over to help me. He was able to pry open the correct lock and then I got my key. I went to my rental van and got ready to leave the facility but I wasn't t able to upload any photos of the van's condition (for my own benefit). I had watched the short video on how to do the self checkout and I knew that part of the beginning process would be to take photos of the outside and interior of the rental to note any damage etc. Thankfully there was no noted damage but again, because I could no longer access the initial processing on the Uhaul app, all the steps from securing the key to leaving the parking lot were gone. Both Uhaul employees were wonderful but neither of them had experience with the Uhaul app so they were unable to assist me. I don't know if any other customers have experienced this same issue with the app. If your employees hadn't been on the property then I would not have been able to pick up the rental at that time, therefore depleting the whole reason for the early self check in and not having to wait until the counter opened.

Pick up and delivery went very smooth. The staff was helpful and trustworthy. We left some valuable items in the front part of the truck and they saved them for us the next day. We were very grateful.

I felt like i was forced to get the insurance. It was either get the insurance or pay $500 deposit. Never had that issue and I rent for U-Haul a lot

Some our furnace was damaged on the trip from Phoenix to Boca. I don't know if this was due to poor packing by our movers or jostling by U Haul.on arrival.

I arrived early for my 8:30am reservation and as always was a little confused about how to do the automatic pickup. There were two employees on site who were early for their 9am shift and they were very helpful. I didn't get their names but a woman and a man went out of their way to help me. This is the second time using this location, it's my favorite. Returning the truck was also a breeze. Merci!

Not necessary improve but one thing that got me was the 20 charge for overnight drop off. I get it money, company, payroll etc. but for hard working blue collar people that use your service and drop your truck off after hours after working on our move is a kick in the ball. The last thing we want to do is try to return the truck during hours. Is a great convenience to be able to drop of your truck after hours. Other than that. Everything was great.

The community furniture exchange is a recipe for disaster of bedbugs and filth, and that alone would have had me change facilities, but the drunk people on my floor blocking my entrance to my unit made it absolutely a non-starter but I appreciate how quickly they allowed me to cancel the contract without incident . I've been renting trucks here for years and that has been easy and great this just wasn't going to work for me

First of all I had a reservation at 12 and didn't get a truck til 5pm because of the system going down. The truck had less than an 1/8 of gas and was missing a windshield wiper blade

Great place to rent a truck I rent here all the time, the specific truck that I rented on the the other hand was unsafe. The horn didn't work especially at certain times on the road and the steering wheel was off. To go straight the steering wheel was turned to the left.

Tell the staff to focus on the customer in front of them at the moment, and not interrupt the transaction to deal with other issues and phone calls (Edwin). When I return a trailer, I want to 'see' that a staff member uses an electronic device to check me in. Not 'say' "you're good to go" and walk away without physically ending the rental. I called back after 2 hours to ask Edwin to 'return' the trailer and send me a receipt. The 'return time' showed as a few moments after I made the call to him. Bad form.

They forgot my dolly and I had to return back the next day for the dolly. The truck also had a hole on the roof and water got everywhere jb my furniture and damaged someone of things that were wooden. I still got charged for everything and now I have furniture that doesn't work Overall didn't have a good experience.

I made a reservation on Sunday 3/17/24 at 6am. The truck assigned to me was parked against a wall and another truck behind. Could not get any help at 7am and UHaul could not assigned me another truck in that location. Extremely disappointed; it was my son's wedding date and UHAUL did not deliver. Do NOT recommend this location-

During our rental period we had at least 3 different managers. With empty boxes we encountered different rules. As we progressed with our move to our new home, we emptied the boxes we stored. The first two managers encourage us to leave the boxes so others could use them. The third manage reprimanded us.

Edwin and I believe Ed were fantastic. Ed told me to take a picture of the empty storage unit as he saw me leaving & saying goodbye, that save me a trip on the check out process. This was great because I walk with a cane. Check out was very smooth.

U-Haul customer service and reliability needs a lot of work. Your employees as the storage unit and truck rentals (individual locations and FL resv) were rude l, hung up on me, never picked up when I tried calling back, never had my serve ration which was made weeks in dance, never tried to help to find me a truck and lastly the storage unit charged me full cost plus late fee for 7 days with no proration. And rude and disrespectful employees. One employee at the storage unit was hearing my conversation with another employee and she took it upon herself to discuss my issues with the client sitting I front of her! Inappropriate and unprofessional. Again Inaul needs to invest in HR training for all employees and additional trucks obviously you are getting the business!

I moved out because of very bad customer service and my items i pay to store there were not secure. I arrived to find human feces was thrown over the top of my locked storage unit and onto my items i was paying to store there. Upon reporting it to the office i was insulted by the man in the office and nothing was done about it. I had to clean this up myself even though i pay to store items securely at this place. They would not check the cameras, they would not have my unit cleaned, and i did not even get a call back from the manager. I will never rent or storage items at uhaul again. I have posted google reviews with pictures for this location. I have reported it to corporate but still nothing has bene done. The customer service is so bad that the man i spoke to in the office that yelled at me and seemed insulted that i wanted him to do something about the situation, cared more about the nfl team shirt i was wearing more than the situation. This is the worst customer service staff of any place i have been in my life. Not even a little professional.

We are moving in west Boca from Chicago 2 months ago. First visit to there in Florida. The stuffs were very nice for us. Our feeling was so good because we didn't know anyone here. My son is disability of autism. The staffs was so nice to us even though they were busy.Very clean storage .highly recommend.

The staff are unprofessional and impatient. The general manager is a bit evasive when you want straight answers. My belongings were stolen out of my unit and no one has any answers. Balance was paid in full still no answers and none of my property is accounted for. Traumatizing experience I will never recommend U-Haul especially not this unit.

We were to far from the elevator right walk ways and the day we left there was a bad smell like a dead mouse or something so bad my is sick to our stomach we told the woman was wiping down the units but i don't think she understood us and the elevator for 1 doesn't give u enough time to get barely a cart out or in and 2 the elevator didn't feel safe we always felt like it would get stuck and break down and we were on the second floor it did not feel like the ac was working, I did though like the idea to leave items for others that u no longer need and the water fountains 1st floor by elevator do not get cold but was good with our stuff being secure

The entire putting your code to get in. Then putting your code in when your done was confusing. When I was finished moving out on the 31st. I was never told that I had to take a picture of the empty space & bring it to the front office. That should be explained at move in. Thankfully the card that I had for automatic withdrawal was lost so the card was canceled. I know I wouldn't be able to get my money back. Overall ok but could've been better

Mover out the day of the day I was suppose to move out. And my card still got charged . Tried to talk to a manager and they kept telling me they couldn't help me. I was in storage unit 1291. And I've been a good customer. And not happy about this. Coconut Creek location. . I won't be back!!

It was a tedious process. The Johnson location needs more staff because my 1st reservation on Saturday Aug 5th wasn't fulfilled within the right time because there was only 1 lady working that shift. The customer service reps on the phone and the reps inside the store are not on the same page so there is a lot of miscommunication. I experienced a delayed reservation which had to be rescheduled & An oversight as it pertained to a storage unit & a rude costumer service rep (on the phone) who had no empathy. But I must say - Maureen Smart & Eddie were the 2 people who made sure that every inconvenience was sorted and truly explained and communicated everything effectively. They showed genuine care & I'm really moved to write this review due to them. Moving on your own for the first time isn't easy. Maureen Smart took time to explain, fix and made sure everything was fair & dealt with. Thankyou Ms. Maureen Smart.

I have 2 units. 1 of the 2 have ants crawling everywhere. When I asked the woman at the front desk I was told I could fumagate the unit myself. Not what I expected to hear after spending over $500 on 2 units.

Your employee Maureen Smart went above and beyond for me making my experience completely hassle free. She walked me to the pin pads and instructed me on how to use them and how to get to the elevator and a nice map showing exactly where my unit is. I very much appreciate that!

Went to pay for my storage unit yesterday via apple pay or via bank of America bill pay since my debit card was missing. The guy told me it had to be cash or card. I was told there was a lein and it was going to auction.i asked when and he didn't know when. Found my card later that night. Went there first thing this morning to pay and they auctioned my unit with my entire business supplies worth about 30k and now I'm doomed & devastated. Why couldn't he tell me yesterday was the last day! No calls, no texts, no email, but yet I get this survey text. I'm crushed and ruined

Everything is clean, but people need to bring the carts back after use....also it should be posted 1 cart per family.....i saw a girl using a cart to push her sister.....
