I had a reservation for a 20 foot truck I placed my order on the 15th for the 25th got to the location all they had was a 26 ft truck and no other trucks in the vicinity had my movers coming at 10:30 and I had truck scheduled for 10am so I had to take the truck or have nothing at all the lady had a very bad attitude wasn't helpful at all my only choice was the bigger truck ended up costing me double in gas I'm trying to get reimbursed but no one had called me back and I've been calling and holding for up to 30-45 minutes to still get nothing accomplished this whole experience with uhaul was horrible if I could give 0 stars I would not recommend any one to go to uhaul period I'm very upset and displeased about the whole experienceRyan H.
While in general I had no bad experience, before the security gate was installed it was sometimes difficult to access the storage as you would need to get a key from the office to get into the unit. Besides that, as time passed and management changed, the experience improved. The latest management team was very understanding and helpful. Unfortunately, my financial situation was disturbed and I had to surrender my unit. Thank you U-Haul for being there for me even at my worst. Was not happy because the storage unit I reserved was not available when I got to the location so I had to take a smaller unit because I had to be out of my home on the day of the rental and all of my things did not fit so I'm forced to get another smaller unit to fit the rest of my things. The online process was not clear. I got a call from customer service. I thought I was good to go but when I got there I wasn't done with the online reservation. I didn't know it. I rented the 10 foot truck twice in one week. I was delayed an hour both times. The first time they gave my truck to someone else. So I had to wait for the manager to come back from lunch to honor my reservation since mines was made before the other customers. Then I was told I had to be back an hour early because someone was able to make a reservation during my rental time. I was super annoyed on the way this matter was handled. The second time I reserved my truck I was blocked in for an hour. I also rented a storage unit, I purchased a lock from one cashier whom had to leave during my transaction for lunch. When I got to the other cashier she informed me that I needed to purchase a more expensive lock. I asked why would the other cashier let me buy the one I had if the rule was to buy the more expensive one. I asked her to either charge me the difference for the more expensive lock or refund me my money. She stated she couldn't do either. I asked why not? And was told I would have to speak with the manager. The manager was not there until the following day. So I had to purchase the more expensive lock as well. This place is horrible when it comes to taking care of customers. Especially when a customer reserves the 10 Foot truck twice and rents out a storage unit. I also brought the first rental back early so my second reservation would go smoothly but it did not!!!! I give the location on 4540 Washington Road Atlanta GA 30349 zero stars! Once I get all of my things from the storage unit I will NEVER spend my money with uhaul AGAIN!!!!Terrell I.

The service and staff at this location was very nice, pick up and drop off. The trailer was a different story. It was a very old model. It performed well, but it was not pleasing to look at. Called the office several times and was told I needed manager to prorate rental. Stopped by office and was told needed to come into office when manager was available to prorate rental. We come in to pick up reservation and the manager is ranting about Donald trump being a incestial pedophile and she would rather see Joe Biden have sex with another woman on live television. She then questions customers about who they voted for. Never got a copy of contract. This was all after I had to drive 35 minutes out of the way to get a uhaul. I would have definitely went with Penske or Ryder or any other moving truck rental if I knew the experience would be like this. Completely horrible. Also was made to believe I would get a deposit back upon drop off only to find out I have to wait 3-5 business days. Do better u-haulMichael C.

There were HUGE roaches in my stuff when I got my things out of storage. In total we saw 3 and I feel that this is totally unacceptable. The prices are pretty moderate to high, so I don't expect to bring home pests. I am hopeful that none escaped the boxes while we were unpacking and disappeared. The vehicle was dirty and had to be swept by the attendant which suggested to me that the last user did not clean the vehicle. The area outside of the facility was filled with trash and seems rather unsafe. The attendant was clueless. I was made to take your insurance which was totally unheard of in my years of renting vehicles fro U-Haul. I will be taking this issue to corporate as this location need to be addressed.Michael P.

In addition, I informed the manager I had car insurance, but due to the fact that I did not have my insurance card with me she demanded I pay an additional 10 $. It was WRONG to make me pay 10 $more. When picking up my equipment, I was told that it was mandatory to get the Collision Damage Waiver on the pickup truck I reserved. I inquired where was that stated in writing and was it a location-specific requirement because I was able to decline it when I made my online reservation. Neither associate could provide me with this information, only stated that the manager requires it, but of course there was no manager there at the time. I also questioned the mileage rate because the UHAUL's website stated a cheaper rate from what I was being charged. Once again, I did not get a reasonable rationale to answer the discrepancy. Although, these were two disputed up-charges, I proceeded with the rental. I contacted Customer Service the following day and was informed that the Collision Damage Waiver is not mandatory and that the mileage rate should have been the cheaper rate. I'm not sure if the employees of this location are uninformed, under trained, have a certain benchmark that they are required to maintain, or other motives. But this is not the way customer service should be handled. Clearly they misrepresented the company. Regardless of how friendly and helpful they were, it is tainted when I'm overcharged for no apparent reason after questioning the validity of the charges. The amount spent is ridiculous for only having the equipment for about 2 hours with a round trip of 20 miles.Rasheeda S.

Wasn't gonna bother submitting a review until I was informed they didn't want my business there again. I didn't show any disrespect, only shock when I saw I was charged 100 miles over what I used. When I showed them my contract and the current mileage on the truck showed I uses 56 and not 156. They made me go out and crank up the truck take a picture to prove it which I did. They refunded that part, but then on the reciept it showed a 2 day charge period. They refunded the 39 and I informed them I was charged 2 days insurance as well. So my refund should have been 39 plus 14. At this time the gm was informed and walked off upset at me because I brought this to their attention. All I did was watch my money carefully and im glad I stayed to check the truck in with them. If they thought I was rude I would love to see their reaction when they get checked out at any place and get charged over 100 more than they were supposed to.Abu W.
