The employee about 35/40 was less than friendly, really rude. I've attempted to get an adjustment on my charge and thought it was handled yesterday after being on hold for 30 minutes. The truck had a leak in the roof. It also had a metal bar from the door rusted and falling off. The interior was covered in a sticky liquid, like soda. Most importantly, we were late to get our truck. We woke up to a flat tire. I tried to call but they didn't answer for more than 40 minutes. When I finally got through, they had given our truck to someone else ! I spent the day running around Memphis trying to find a replacement. This cost us a HUGE amount in lost labor and time. originally wrong truck (by id #)was brought up front, another customer might not have noticed but I did and it was quickly rectified. The equipment was well maintained, but it was not clean. There was dirt and debris inside of the Cargo Van, which could have been an easy fix with a vacuum or broom. The little interaction I did have with the personnel was not good. He was rude, unprofessional, not helpful and very unpleasant. I'm glad I use the app for most of my reservation. Remove the for sale items so customers can see the customer service folks. Also the customer service folks can't see when someone is standing to receive service. I am a short person so when the the customer service agent came in from outside he could not see me. The items you are selling blocks your view and you can't see customers and it kinda makes your location non friendly.Felicia H.

The truck which I had reserved for weeks was not there when I arrived at appointment time of 7:30 am. because a female employee had rented the truck late in the day the day before and told the customer they could keep it for 24 hours. I asked the manager Mark if I could have one of the 15 foot trucks on the lot and I was told no. I went to eat breakfast. I was called during breakfast by Aaron and told that the truck was there. I got there in 15 min. There was another man there who they were going to give my truck to if I didn't arrive in 30 minutes. The employee Aaron actually told me he was about to give my truck to that man. When Aaron called to advise my truck was there, I was on another call. He left a voicemail telling me to call. I did call 3 times and got the automated system saying the wait would be 20 min. When I advised Aaron of this, he said the manager Mark had forwarded the calls to the system. Aaron also wanted to be confrontational about the whole affair. On my final receipt Aaron emailed me, he placed fraudulent charges on the bill. The largest was for an after hours fee of 20 $. I returned the truck 5 hours early and only had it for about 4 hours, returning it at about 2pm. I will challenge the charge on my credit card until it is corrected. I have been a customer of this location for 2 years and will never rent there again. This was the first time I had dealt with Aaron. He did not reflect positively for the company.THOR W.

You called me at p/u time to tell me no vehicle available. I was already at agreed upon location. Had to drive to another loc, but not far. Couldn't use .com to contactless checkin since it was telling me at wrong loc. They didn't change reservation. Had to call again to make it manual. Person at desk was less than personable. Never really said anything at all. Returned vehicle, sign said wait for agent. 5-10 min later I went in. 2 people sitting behind desk, NO customers. Guy says, someone will be out there in a bit. Go back outside. I had to go to close on house. I just left it there. Pitiful. No thank you, so since of urgency. Get rid of the people and just do it on an app if you can't train them. The younger, african american gentleman has been great. There has been all kinds of confusion about our boxes. They couldn't find a few, had the wrong names on them, etc. The more senior person I dealt with got the job done, but had a horrible attitude. Gas was not full and so very difficult to leave exactly just over 1/2. So I ended up putting in 10 $extra gas and I didn't get a credit. Recommend you just top off all the time or be flexible and give credit back.GARY B.

I had a fully furnished three bedroom home on a large truck. We got there at about five after driving eleven hours to get there. We were stuck with three units that were on the back of the facility...on the second floor, so we had to haul all of our belongings up an elevator on carts...that was fun for three people. Oh...I didn't mention: it was raining when we got there, and I had to drop my car from a tow dolly...one on the chains securing the car was stuck. The staff lent us tools to remove the chain from the dolly, but did not offer to assist...the guy, literally, sat in the garage and watched from the door while I took it apart myself, and then replaced it once my car was unloaded. Our belongings are dry, and inside...I guess we should be grateful for that.Timothy F.

I came in about 1 hour later than my reservation. I had got a call from Cameron and told him I was running a little behind. He said no problem and I told him what time I would be there. When I got there, he told me, â€œOh, I was just about to cancel your reservation.â€ I said nothing but the tone was so condescending...like, oh we don't need your business. I kindly explained that I couldn't find my hitch lock key to remove it in order to attach my removable hitch. Another guy there, heavier-set Caucasian guy (slightly unshaven), chimes in, â€œWhy would lock your hitch with nothing on it? I always take mine of and know exactly where I put it.â€ I was a little taken back by their attitudes toward a customerâ€"and this guy went on and on and wouldn't let it go. Then they told me they only had 5 blankets. I said, â€œThat's fine, do I get them for half what I was paying a dozen for? The Caucasian guy said, â€œNo, it's the same price for 5 as it is for 12.â€ No apology, nothing. I was beginning to wonder if I was being â€œpunkedâ€ because their attitudes were so obtuseâ€"really strange. Someone should watch the security footage if you have it. I'll tell you if I were the manager of this store, the Caucasian guy I dealt with would be out the door. Oh, and he also reminded me that I needed to have the trailer back by 4pm since I reserved it for 10:30a and showed at 11:30 just to rub it in my face a little more that I was late....he was wrong about that since it's a 6 hour rental (it was returned at 3:55p). When I returned it, I folded the blankets. No one met me at the trailer. I had to walk to the side door where a girl was playing on her phone. She said, I have the trailer checked in. I said where do I put the blankets. She said I could bring them in. So after I folded them in the trailer, she made me bring them all inside, them take the trailer to the spot and unhitch it myself (a 6x12 isn't light)...never came to help at all. I have rented from this location 3 times so far I'm 10 months. This was horrible service. Love the location but you definitely have developed a problem here.JAMES O.

I always use this location...... Aaron was not customer service friendly in regards to attitude... & Jacob was courteous but actually appeared to rather be somewhere else. When I arrived to get the truck @ 1000, I was told that I needed to have the truck back by 3 pm, even though I rented for 8 hrs.That aspect was rectified. When I returned the truck , not only did I wait for about 15 min in the truck , I was told we will be out whenever we get to it. I did not want any unknown charges added to my bill , so I waited... this is not acceptable customer service. This is not the norm for this location... when I returned a truck several weeks ago .. UHaul APP doesn't work dependably. I've used it for renting at all hours. Couldn't locate me. (GPS was on and working on TWO phones) It wouldn't ASSOCIATE the order number to my account. Had number in email. Had to go inside. Thankfully during normal biz hours. Staff always great. Didn't receive the "check-out equipment" text. Reset odometer. Mileage and fuel incorrect by nearly 60 miles. Staff corrected; always great. Between the malfunctioning APP - all around -waiting for manual check-in, it cosforay schedule 1 1/2 hours on a tight day, when I had an equip appointment. I know the drill, and know IT. Love the APP...when it works. Staff say Wifi issues also. True, but this was the APP. How does one pick up overnight if mobile app not working?Roy D.

The vehicle should be inspected for maintenance issues. The windshield wipers were totally shot, and barely moved enough water to see through. The other issue (not related to the UHaul location) was that the truck did not have cruise control. Other than these 2 issues, I was quite happy with the service.Donald K.

I've tried calling this location plenty of times. I moved out on September 25th. I had a contract up to 6 months due to Covid. I am a student and I was paying 34,95 a month. Now that my contract was up in July. I am still being charged for October's monthly rent. I am not pleased with this level of service. I spoke with someone in the 19th letting them know that I moved out beforehand. After looking at my move out record it says I moved out on the 19th of October which is completely false. There was only one issue, a slight glitch in the computer system allowed the young man assigning our unit and the young lady helping another customer to assign the same unit to both customers. Was a bit awkward when we drove over to the unit to discover we were both assigned the same unit. I enjoyed storing my furniture and valuables at U-Haul over the Summer. I always felt safe and secure whenever dropping things off. The unit was extremely clean and free from cobwebs and other critters that you tend to see in storage facilities.
