They gave away me car tow that was reserved and paid for the forced my to go way across town to get and pay for another using my mileage and gas and I was not refunded. My move was delayed I lost my movers and had to move myself as a result and pay an additional 150.00. This was a very horrible experience

It is so easy to rent use and return U-Haul equipment. Many people don't know that you can check in online and you can also return online. I rent these trailers all the time for my business rather than buy one because it is so cheap and so easy to do so.

Closest U-haul store to me for pick-up rental. Have used this location several times in the past for other equipment. This time staff was not enthusiastic. Had to ask staff member to repeat each question or action because he mumbled and was looking down at mobile while behind COVID-19 screen. Given vehicle key and told to use vehicle alarm to locate.

The customer service rep was absolutely clueless. We reserved a trailer and tried to rent us a truck despite our reservation being in the system and right in front of him. Another employee tried to pass off his incompetence as being new. We rented a bundle of moving blankets and they didn't get put in the trailer and we weren't given a copy of the rental agreement so we had to make a 20 return trip to get. The trailer was not pulled out and it was nearly impossible to back up to and even harder to pull out due to the confines of the storage area and other equipment that was present. The only reason I was able to do it was because of my years as a tractor trailer driver. And finally calling me on the day the rental was up to tell me that I could not return the trailer anywhere but a company location in the destination city even though it was returned to an independent dealer the day before. He didn't even know it was already returned. Need a lot of work and training at the Copperfield location.

I dropped the key off in the key dropped box and I was charged $20 for an overnight fee. I picked the truck up right before they closed. I don't appreciate being charged an unnecessary $20 overnight fee. When my rental was gonna be pass the time of the being open for the return.

The manager did an excellent job the day before I went to pick my uhaul He helped me even 5 minutes after business hours in the parking lot but when I when to pick the truck the lady at the counter told me here is the key go and find your truck while I was the only client at the location I never being told what was the truck and they were over ten uhaul and I was lost after I did not know what to do someone came and explained to me that the key had a number that match the truck other than that it was good I think they can be more helpful with the people moving is stressful I was going to give one star but management was good by the laziness of the employee.

This location was pretty bad. First, they shouldn't allow faulty equipment to be taken off the lot. I got halfway down the road and realized the driver side mirror had been removed the truck. When I returned the equipment I complained and he said he forgot that the truck was faulty as the mirror had been knocked off the prior day. Also, the attendant refused to show me to my truck and merely pointed outside and said my truck was out there when i came to rent the truck. I tried to start 2 trucks with no success and returned back into the store and another attendant showed me to the correct truck. There was no walk through of the equipment prior to the rental either. I won't be returning to this location ever again.

Your 20 dollar is not the total amount. There to many hidden amount like mileage, gas , insurance etc. You should be showing all the total amount, not advertisement 29 dollars

The phone app checkout needs to be quicker it took me 30 minutes to get the truck. The need to have 3 forms of identification is too much and could be done ahead of time. The extra equipment I ordered for the trip was not in the Truck so did not get the moving dolly or the appliance dolly but it was still on the bill. Also the combination lock that was locking the bed of the truck once opened the code could not be found afterward on the app or anywhere in the receipt. This posed a great inconvenience as after packing the truck full and using this lock to secure the bed of the truck for my trip I could not get the code to reopen it when we arrived at the new location. I call the 800 number and was put on hold for over an hour before the call was answered just to get this code and by that time the movers I hired time was up so had to get other help to unload. This was not a great experience or process needs improvement and a quicker response to phone support.

The young man who checked me in did NOT really check in my equipment until the next day causing my to be charged for an extra day rental as well as an extra day insurance fee. When I saw this on my online bill I immediately went in there and to their credit they immediately worked to reverse the charges. Again a novice person at the counter who did not know how to handle this and the "old head" was busy handling all kinds of situations and occasionally checking on my progress. Took 30 minutes to do what should have been done in less than 5.

Explaining the drop key is at the door! Maybe a quick walk though of the return process as far as taking pictures because if my phone was dead it wouldn't have been a good situation! He could've also walked me to my truck and he said the numbers were on there so I had to walk around the parking lot to find my truck! Lastly, 1 guy out of the 3 had on a mask! Like really?

Customer service representatives was very unfriendly. By time we went back to return we drove truck only 15 miles that one I paid before then they asked did we put gas in I told him I will pay for gasoline which I think should be a gallon but he charged me $13.97 which is price for more then six gallons I was wandering

The employees at the Uhaul Copperfield location in Houston Texas are the worst that I have ever experienced at any Uhaul. They don't seem to be trained properly or have no interest in helping you. I would recommend going to another facility since this staff is very bad.

The left front fender well step was broken, took pictures of it while in the Houston trailer yard. Was unable to upload the pictures.

Trailer was installed incorrectly by Uhaul agent. Within a mile from leaving, trailer fell off the hitch. No vehicle/car damage, but it was scary. Informed agent upon return and he was apologetic. Otherwise convenient location and friendly staff.

Due to Covid-19, every truck should be cleaned thoroughly and entirely. There should not be any signs of left over items in the truck as well. It left me paranoid but I no choice because I was on a strict time line. Also, you ask for customers to inspect the truck provided. The pictures provided were of the truck maybe when it was perfectly brand new with no imperfections. The truck I was provided had several damages and that should have been in the picture provided. It required a lot of work just to leave the location. I don't want to work that hard when picking up. The process should be seamless. Also, what is the point of reserving online, you put in all your information, only to be asked the exact same information when picking up. This is not a seamless process. It was very annoying.

When I originally called to reserve a trailer, I requested a 5'x8' trailer. I was told this location only had 6'x12' available, which was way more trailer than I needed. I called the next day and spoke to a different individual who switched my reservation to the 5'x8'.

The ONLY improvement I could suggest is to keep my information in their system. I rent a van about every three weeks, and even though I have entered and saved my credit card info and TDL, they ask for it every time. That doesn't make me feel very valuable as a ongoing client. The staff is sweet, knowledgeable, quick but the re-entering stuff is a hassle. Love the location too.

The UHaul app I had trouble uploading my initial dashboard of the mileage and fuel gauge. I could not upload or attached the picture. Maybe because I am using an Android Samsung smart phone instead of an iPhone? So I sent the picture of the dashboard to a UHaul customer service email instead later.

The workers in the office upon checking in and pickup were not wearing masks. Not acceptable during this current situation. The young lady that checked me out was playing video games on her phone, no mask, touching her own face and hair and then had to handle my drivers license and credit card. I was grossed out and very disappointed. Nobody walked the vehicle with me. It was missing the attached dolly inside the truck, it was filthy dirty (sticky) on the inside cab and the upholstery was falling off the roof of the cab. I felt the need to spray everything down with Lysol before leaving....including my drivers license and credit card. I was very disappointed. However, when I went to check the vehicle back in, both guys were wearing masks and were very friendly/helpful to all customers in the store. Overall, I did not feel comfortable in the store and I know the vehicle was not clean upon picking up. Unacceptable in my opinion.

I had scheduled pick up at a different location and received a confirmation email when I arrived they did not have the reserved equipment and sent me to this location instead. There was no warning about this problem. Overall the end result of this rental experience was the location I actually used was excellent...the location I was supposed to use sucked!

A queen side mattress and box spring do not fit in a 4' by 8' like they insisted it did. We had to push and shove mattress in the 4' by 8' and box spring in back of personal truck bed. I was not very happy has I had told them it did not look like it would accommodate a queen and it didn't. Please be sure al employees know this information.

Quincy was so helpful! I am thankful for his assistance. However, office hours at this location aren't to my liking. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and needed someone to assist me with entering my unit as I had lost my key card. The door was locked and no one would come to the door to assist me. I was told through the closed door that yes they are still open but the lock the door and shut down the system 10 minutes before closing. There was one young man that was out side that I asked if he could assist me and he tried to get the door open to the units but could not. I was grateful for him but the other guy in the actual office was complete unhelpful and rather rude. He could have at least unlocked the door to tell me their procedures. Not shout through a closed door
