We dropped off the trailer after closing. Was told when first picked up the trailer would have to go online and check that we dropped it off. Online was very confusing. Called for help. Had to re-call, wait and then got redirected a number of times. They were unable to check us in that we had dropped off the trailer.

Still waiting for someone to get back to me. When I returned the vehicle I gave the clerk the key and the 6 rented pads. He couldn’t give me a receipt he said the computer wasn’t working. I received an email receipt saying the 6 pads were not returned. I emailed back saying they were returned. I got a reply back saying they would take care of it. Today I got charged a 2nd time now the receipt said 12 pads rented 6 were returned. I also got a text today asking when I would be returning the truck! Still waiting for a reply back to my emails! Would never rent again after this experience.

The concept that a paying customer must drop off the rental at another location in another town even though the customer lives 1 block from the pickup location is insane. I had to take a taxi back home next to the pickup location because the rules are a one way rental must go to another location . Your online self return process is bizarre to have to take pictures and click, click and click. The normal way was fine and norr broken. Why change it? Unhappy with my experience having to drive to another town to drop off and a strange return process.

Worst customer experience I've ever had. 4x7 trailer is actually 3' 4" wide and wouldn't fit what i needed. Was charged for a replacement and was not notified i would be charged. I'm just going to buy a trailer.

There needs to be a second desk person at this location. Each time I went there several customers and each transaction takes 10 to 15 mins so wait times are long when there is only 1 employee and 1 propane person.

You now have self check in/out likely for customer convenience. Didnt work for me. Your Supervisor's helped me check in , and out very helpful but software at checkout would not finalize transaction. Your solution is to go through night process which could entail late fees. In my case supervisor was able to help me, but if it was busy and he wasn't available, it would be a lot worse, because system still didn't finalize. Only complaint.

I purchased an Easy Pak Box Kit. I only used half of the boxes in this kit. The personnel at this location states Uhaul will not buy back the unused boxes, which contradicts the 100% buyback guarantee. Either they are mistaken or this buyback program is false marketing to consumers and will not use these services in the future.

I’m contacting the Better Business Bureau about the contract and the filling the gas up to dispatch level. I also had to check my own U-Haul back in the rain even though I opted to specifically bring it to U-Haul and have an associate check it in instead of self check in. This added mileage to my contract and I had to pay. Only to be told I had to check it on myself.

I accidentaly reserved a truck via the self pickup option rather than normal at the counter pick up. I called and called to try and fix the reservation but no one would anser and the one time they did they put me on hold for 45 minutes. When I arrived the next day to pick up my truck the person working the counter simply said "you picked self pick up I cant help you" and walked away from me. Because uHauls mobile app wasnt working I had to spend another 30 mins bouncing around uhaul customer service hotline before someone finally contacted the store and told them to allow me to pick up the truck at the counter. When I finally was helped the employee was miserable twoards me almost as if she was upset that I messed up her day by having to issue me the truck even though I had technically reserved a "self pick up" transaction. I dont usually take the time to do these reviews for anything other than positive reviews of places I like but this experiance was so terrible I felt obligated. I own a retail business and I use uhauls frequently to transport my inventory / furniture and although this uHaul is 15 minutes from my house I will NEVER go there again and will make an effort to find a new rental truck vendor that will hopefully appreciate my business.

I didn't realize that the gas tank wasn't completely full after I had left the Uhaul center. It was probably about 1/4 of an inch from full on the gauge. I guess that I didn't bother to go back because I thought maybe the gauge was inaccurate and that I was too far from the Uhaul center to make it worthwhile. When I returned the van, I filled the tank and it took approximately 23 gallons after having driven about 94 miles. The van wasn't even fully loaded and it was not idled any amount of time at all. Doesn't make sense. Moreover, the Uhaul process (using a smart phone) is really a waste of the customer's time. By the time you figure out the system and take a picture of this and take a picture of that you have become completely frustrated. The process doesn't simplify anything nor does it make it more convenient. I will never rent from Uhaul again.,

Problem not with location, but with scheduling. I requested 5 x 9 utility trailer with ramp, and stated I needed newer model which has motorcycle wheel chock. When I went to North Attleboro to pick up they did not have one. Had to call scheduling again and they located one in Cumberland. Very disappointed as I had an appointment which this U-Haul error made me over 2 hours behind schedule. I guess the guarantee for reservation is that you will get equipment reserved just may be at a different location then promised and for sometime that day, not the time promised. Bad job U-Haul.

Dear UHAUL, I have never felt more cheated by a company in my entire life. I rented a 15' truck one way from Pawtucket RI to Hyannis MA for $106+taxes and insurance. The online offer offered me $40 off if I returned the truck to Pocasset MA to which I agreed for an additional miles totaling 114 miles because it was further from my original destination. When picking up vehicle in Cumberland RI the computer noted my prepayment of $96.30($66 for truck +insurance and tax) but would not honor the offer for which I prepaid! In addition, I find this morning, after returning the vehicle early last evening that UHAUL had only given me 62 miles (FOR UHAUL'S CONVENIENCE!). I was overcharged a total of $49.59 more than I had agreed to and for which I prepaid (NOT A DEPOSIT). I SAW THE COMPUTER SCREEN AT the UHAUL CENTER WHICH CLEARLY INDICATED THE TRUCK RENTAL FOR $66 AND 114 MILES BUT THE TOTALS WOULD NOT TALLY THESE FIGURES. STAFF WAS CONFUSED BY THIS BUT WOULD NOT RENT AT THE AGREED UPON PRICE. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND PERHAPS UNLAWFUL TO RENEG ON DEALS OR HAVE SOFTWARE THAT OVERIDES PROMOTIONAL DEALS. THIS IS CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. THE FRUSTRATION LEVEL WAS SO GREAT AFTER 45MINUTES (MIND YOU PREPAID for expedited pickup) THAT THEY WALKED ME OUT TO THE TRUCK AND GAVE ME A BUNCH OF BOGUS PAPERWORK with the wrong numbers (both dollars and Miles). They could not print what was I was viewing on the screen. While staff appeared apologetic and all parties remained respectful to one another it is unsatisfactory for HAUL staff to simply dismiss this issue with a “I am sorry there is nothing I can do about it.” In the end the Customer must agree to the improper charges or cancel the reservation. Customers in need of UHAUL’s service are often in a vulnerable condition and driven by deadlines set by landlord and leases. I would like to have someone from UHAUL correct this situation and would like to have $49.59 removed from my card. I am considering further actions related to this matter if this is not dealt with expeditiously. I have conducted business with UHAUL in the past and have had some issues but this looks like a systemic issue as if the computer system is overriding promotions and prepayment agreements. I am particularly offended by the overt act of offering a “savings promotion” which is not honored at the time of pickup. UHAUL ALSO TRIED TO CHANGE MY RETURN DESTINATION TO PLYMOUTH MASS, APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES FURTHER DISTANT FROM MY ORIGINAL DESTINATION. What is the purpose of online reservations and prepayment when you appear to pick up the vehicle and everything is changed and it still takes 45 minutes to unsatisfactorily resolve the matter?

I was charged $150 for a loose piece of plastic under the truck. I am extremely dissatisfied and will never do business with Uhall again. My concerns are the following: 1. I bought the insurance. The whole point of the insurance was to not have to worry about things like this, and I have not memory of $150 being mentioned to me. 2. It is extremely frustrating that I had to do photos and all this online web work for check out, when if there just had been a human there to walk me through it, the issue could have been shown to me and explained or at least a chance to disagree. 3. The email I was sent did not indicate there was a problem in the body of the email. If I had not opened the attachment, I would not have know that I was having this extra charge. Again, it does not seem like a straightforward process. As I said, I do not feel that this was done fairly and I will not work with Uhaul again.

have rented 3 u hauls in 3 years always a problem.wrong truck last time this time it took an hour to actually get my truck due to computer malfunction then was 40 dollars to run down the road and back took less than an hour.will never use u haul ever again!only good thing was kim the employee was as helpful as she could be under the circumstances.would have been nice to get a couple of dollars off the bill for the wait and confusion but nope all about the money!
