The location and equipment state we fine. I couldn't extend reservation through the app so made etreme efforts to return on time, self checkin seemed to work but i still got charged the extra day i wanted but didn't use. Also the upsellimg durimg on li e reservation was awful. Will nevet br back
Jonathan P.From what I experienced with this branch comparing it to the branch in Pawtucket which I used about a month and a half ago this branch there's no comparing it to the Pawtucket branch first of all the drop off time is so much more reasonable time in the morning second of all I don't know why I paid so much every day at the Pawtucket location but at Cumberland 40 bucks $39 in change let's call it 40 bucks in and out no problem I paid so much I feel at the other location I won't go nowhere else I love the Cumberland location and the staff as well very helpful

In my case is Electronic equipment and the leak on the trailer cause part of the equipment got wet , luckily didn't got damaged.. you guys need replace some old and no well maintained equipment ...

Suzannah S.The pickup was absolutely outstanding!!! The drop off well .... not so much. Granted, I walked in just before close, however, I told him I was there to drop off a "trailer" that I rented that morning but didn't need it for the 2 days requested. He told me to simply leave the keys on the counter. I told him "no" and that I didn't rent a truck. He asked if I was making a payment. I apologized again for arriving at close but said no, it's a trailer. He told me to just leave it to which my reply was to ask if he was the only one on and when he said no, I told him I would need his assistance. He asked me to back it into the spot where it was originally parked and I told him I'm not really good with that but would try. After several tries, he did not offer for me to stop [which would've been the professional thing to do], I simply said, "I'm not doing this, take it off here". I had to ask how I would know that I wasn't charged the 2 days because he never told me anything about how I would receive a receipt before I asked.
Nancy A.Brian the only employee at U-Haul on pickup day was wonderful! He was friendly and doing his best. The security alarm was beeping all day, so I had to listen to it while I waited the 45 minutes to get the van and when I went to drop off. Poor Brian had to listen to it all day. I think a second employee would have gone far to speed things up. The truck also had a ton of existing damage, including the windshield and all over the vehicle. It is a convenient location and Brian was great, but they need more help and newer vehicles.

Paul C.First off, you should make sure you have oil in the motor on the truck that you're renting. Even though the staff was very polite, then knowledge on maintenance procedures on a vehicle was very slim. Your checklist system is terrible. It does not cover all the damage on the outside of the vehicle. I had to take pictures for my own protection.

They were very nice but you shouldn't have two new people working same shift without a veteran person as well.

There were candy wrappers on the floor, a tube of caulk behind the seat, a ginger ale bottle cap on the cup holder and the back of the truck was sandy too. On top of that, the outside lock didn't work so I had to use the passenger side and crawl over. I expect a lot better out of U-Haul AND I'm a frequent renter.

christopher M.Probably don't charge $37 for a one hour extension. Or almost $5 a gallon of gas. I had to chose between making it back on time to avoid that fee or refilling the tank (mind you it was only an EIGHTH of a tank I used) and was charged $23 for that eighth. You can't advertise $19,99 a truck and turn around and charge people $111 to use it for a few hours and very little gas. That's ridiculous. Be real. Also the vehicle needs new brakes, the steering wheel was shaking awful when I tapped the brakes.

Roy L.We just needed a truck to move a room's worth of stuff. No more than 20-25 total miles and a couple of hours. It's a very easy process. Sign a few things and pay and walk out with the keys to a truck. It was nasty cold and the heat worked well! No ramp was a major disappointment though. Would have made the process a little easier. Put a couple of gallons of gas in on the way back and that's about it.

Ryan S.I initially submitted a reservation for a 10' truck at the North Attleboro location for Saturday, Nov 26th. I got dropped off there, waited in line for a half hour and was then informed that there was no truck available. The associate was completely unapologetic and did not offer any alternative other than a cargo van, which I voiced was not sufficient. I had to be the one to suggest calling another location to see if a truck was available. I do not want these comments to affect the Cumberland location at all because they were extremely helpful and apologetic for the experience. And I do appreciate the $50 reservation guarantee credit. I just wanted to voice that it was an extremely frustrating experience at the NORTH ATTLEBORO location. On a moving day that's stressful enough, my experience there was awful. Thank you to the Cumberland location for turning that around!

We've rented five previous times this year (so far) from U-Haul and have never had such an old beat up poorly maintain truck. You all should be embarrassed to let that vehicle out for rent. The front end sounded like it was going to fall apart every time we had a hole, and it was so antiquated, there wasn't cruise control. We traveled ~90 % highway yet only achieved an average mpg of only 8,7 miles to a gallon, which cost us $40 in fuel the end of day instead of the usual $20. If U-Haul wants to continue to keep our business, I feel that we should be compensated for our terrible experience suffered through yesterday. Thank you, Don Pistorio cell: 401â€"7 87â€"1293.
Donald P.I put a reservation in for the 26 ft truck at a close location and they moved it to rhode island 33 miles each way so that's an extra $65 for milage and extra fuel and they wouldn't give me the $50 equipment guarantee.

I've used the uhaul on Mendon road in Cumberland a few times now and have had a storage unit here for about a year. I've had a few interactions with Kim and another gentleman who's name I cant remember but he helped me pick out my storage unit. He walked me though the building and helped me choose one that would best suit my needs. Yesterday I moved out of my unit and reserved a 26ft truck, but the day before they said that it wasn't available as the customer who has it wouldn't be here in time. She told me that she could help me out with the 15ft truck. 2 minutes later she called me again and said that they could do 2 15ft trucks for a good deal. I was super impressed again with how much everyone there helped us out. I'm absolutely floored, I couldn't appreciate everything they have done for me more. Thank you again so much. I hope the higher ups see the amazing work you guys do. Thank you again.

jennifer c. | Premières impressionsAfter 17 years of having a space at your center the only bright spot was Brian Rishe, who was very friendly, helpful and sympathetic to my situation. The lock had been changed without my knowledge or permission in 2007 by "David " the manager at that time. I don't understand why a perfectly good lock was removed without my knowledge or permission. According to computer notes it is alleged that 2 keys were sent to me which I knew nothing about. Why a master key was not maintained in the office defys any and all business common sense. on part of your management. Then we find the lock was put on upside down which required me to call a locksmith and spend an additional $75 to have the circular lock removed. Next I tried to access the unit only to have to pry open the door handle with considerable force because the door and the bar had been over painted causing both to bond together. Once in it was apparent that someone had been in my unit since the plastic I used to cover everything within the unit was dumped in the middle of the floor, boxes were everywhere, my file cabinet draws were opened and the contents were rifled through, and the floor was covered with odd and end garbage consisting of metals shards, ripped up paper, and crayola crayons , all of which had nothing to do with my contents. The place was a disgusting mess. Then the worse problem was that my Conn Symphony 8 H trombone in my original case was missing!! As if to make matters even worse, I was informed that U-Haul's policy is not to reimburse portions of monthly payments unused. I intend to contact U-Haul headquarters to resolve this but suspect that it will end up in a court battle.
