Really appreciate the service at the location. I failed to get the gentleman's name that was at the desk but he was gracious and answered my questions. U Haul sent me to Upton Mass to pick up my truck. The BP/Getty site told me they don't do U Haul rentals. I had to travel to Cumberland, RI to pick up a new truck. The confusion cost me time and money. The moving crew I had scheduled for 9am didn't start pack my house until 10am. I needed to hire another moving crew to pack my truck. It wasn't a great experience and I would like to be reimbursed for the second moving crew. If the truck was available as I reserved it, the first crew would have enough time to pack my u boxes and truck. Not a great experience for me and my family.Robert H.

To say that the customer service is flawless is and that's an understatement. I've used the uhaul on Mendon road in Cumberland a few times now and have had a storage unit here for about a year. I've had a few interactions with Kim and another gentleman who's name I cant remember but he helped me pick out my storage unit. He walked me though the building and helped me choose one that would best suit my needs. Yesterday I moved out of my unit and reserved a 26ft truck, but the day before they said that it wasn't available as the customer who has it wouldn't be here in time. She told me that she could help me out with the 15ft truck. 2 minutes later she called me again and said that they could do 2 15ft trucks for a good deal. I was super impressed again with how much everyone there helped us out. I'm absolutely floored, I couldn't appreciate everything they have done for me more. Thank you again so much. Inform customers that there is a one hour window to get your truck or you may lose it. Our pick up was scheduled for 8 am, but I was having a bad morning due to a recent chemo treatment. We got there at 10 AM and our truck was gone. Kim was great. She called me around 1 pm to let me know that a truck was available. I tried to call back, but was forwarded to another #. He transferred me to the regional scheduler who told me to I was mistaken... that there was no truck. I informed her that Kim had just called and left me a message. I got nowhere! We decided to drive to the location and look and behold, Kim had a truck for us. She was upset because she'd input a message that anyone from Uhaul could see. Gratefully in the end, we rented a truck and moved furniture from Leominster to Woonsocket and I'm finally moved into my condo. Kim was definitely customer service oriented.SANDRA C.

Your 'return your truck' after hours online app is terrible. After 20 minutes of trying to enter the required information I gave up. I was charged the 20,00 $ after hours service fee. In the future I'll just pay the 20 $and spare myself the pain of dealing with your online app. You really need to fix this.EDWARD M.

Your online reservation experience is not good. I gave all my info and credit card info because I was in a hurry and still had to wait in line and give all the same information when I got to the location. This should be a lot easier to reserve online, paperwork should be ready to just pick up and goSCOTT M.
I have used this service multiple times and the customer service from Brian Rishe was absolutely awful. We were returning the vehicle to the site and just wanted to check out and he was not offering very much help. When I arrived to go in to check out he said we could check out on the phone or we had to wait for him to complete the truck. Normally, I go inside to check out but he was doing something with the truck and mind you he was not the only employee there. The app was not working due to my location services off and needed help. He then proceeded to say your location services are off and we were saying that they were on and then he said how much you want to bet? He then was very argumentative in the parking area during this time when all he had to do was go inside to check us out and he did not, he chose to continue what he was doing while smoking a cigarette.. After finally going through the check out by the phone I did not receive a receipt so I needed him to provide. During this time, he was providing a service to another person in which he provided excellent customer service to, even walked them through the app very kindly on how to check out on the phone. When it was finally my turn, I told him that was excellent customer service that he provided to the person that came in after me and that I wish that I was treated the same way. Then he was starting to get argumentative with me again. I told him that I did not receive a receipt and he was continuously arguing with me that it was because it was under different name. I said yes my brother picked up the vehicle but the email address is the same which was on the paper that was provided when we picked up. I showed him the paper with the email address and kept insisting that it was under another name that I would not go to me and I was trying to explain that it should be going to the email that they printed and provided before we left with the truck earlier. Eventually, he did find my information to print it off. I have never had an experience like that ever with such nasty customer service and trying to prove me wrong consistently. Having a person like that work for your company speaks volumes about a company. If you truly value your customers then you would not have an employee like that treat customers so disrespectfully. I really hope so one evaluates him and either help him with customer service and to make sure he treats all of his customers the same. He can not pick and choose which ones he would like to give good service too. I have never wrote a review like this before but I really hope someone checks in with him and reviews his job.DOMINIC L.

Brian was absolutely delightful and very helpful. The location was missing the regular dolly and the furniture mover I had ordered, but he removed the charge for the furniture mover and subbed the heavy duty appliance dolly in place of the regular one. Your off-hours (24/7) interface could be a little simpler. Also, it froze before I could take a photo of the fuel / odometer. But I already had the key so I was all set. Otherwise I was able to complete the process relatively quickly.Edward M.

Team member was very friendly, entertaining helpful and knowledgeable. But all Uhaul locations seems to be short staff even that said the team members still work hard to help customers. In all Mendon rd Cumberland,RI has been the best location so far.Paul D.

The location and staff were great but the switch from our original request was a major inconvenience. It was 45 minutes out of our way and the smaller truck made the move take twice as long. We will not use uhal again for this reason.Ken P.
Explain to the fullest an don't just have the customer sign shit with explaining hidden fees money just keeps getting tacked on .got blame for damages that were already there I will trust post my experience on social media an it's not gonna be good an just keep adding money to the bill weeks later I will be contacting a lawyer if this continuesROBERTO R.
The key was not in the lock box. Also the dolly and furniture pads were not in van. I did most of transactions via mobile app. Needed to go into the store twice for pick up (for the key and the dolly and furniture pads). The store manager seemed frustrated with the lack of preparedness her associates had preparing the van for pick up. Otherwise, no issues with the van and I was able to accomplish a move with no issues.Mark M.

Your return app is garbage. I thought you were supposed to make the customer's experience easier and better, UHAUL only wants to make their lives easier. 10 minutes to go thru it and then the gas part is a joke expecting it to be dead on. I am currently on hold to dispute a 14 $gas charge because I guess i wasn't accurate with my finger. I went 54 miles and put 6 gallons -20 $ a gas in - explain that. I've been on hold now for 35 minutes to get this fixed and I'm sure you'll fight me over it. NEVER AGAIN. Piece of advice - If you want people to be accurate with returning a truck wit h the same gas, give people a FULL tank then they can return it FULL, not this we gave you approx. 3/8 full. One the app you have 17 or 18 lines on the gasometer but in the trucks there's 5 or 6, so we're supposed to guess. its a joke.David M.

Your manager Kim at the Cumberland location was wonderful and one of the most helpful people I have come across in a long time. She needs more employees and support from corporate even though she has been doing this for a long time and is very good at her job she cannot do it alone forever. Also, the only complaints that I have were with the disconnect between calling the corporate branch to reserve a truck and what information the local branch had. I provided all information as well as how long I would need the truck and none of the information transferred to the local branch which lead to what felt like a bait and switch and thinking I was all set when in reality I almost didnt get the truck I needed for the 2 days I had originally agreed to.Will R.
Allow local company to book more than 2 days. I booked a 8 ft truck and needed it for 4 days so had to go through the 800 number.. The day I was to pick it up I was notified it was not available. Had I been able to book directly this would not have been an issue.I was able to get a van but would have preferred the truck for better visualization.JANICE T.
