The only issue I had with my experience there was the size of vehicle was unavailable so the kind associate helping serve us was willing to give us a larger vehicle for the smaller vehicle price. That of course was until Alex stepped into the conversation. The associate asked how to drop the price after telling us he could and Alex told him no quite rudely and when asked and I quote “even if I have already told them I could drop it to that price?” Again Alex told him “No”. From my experience in customer service that is enough to drive management up the wall. So if Alex is the only one there then I'll quote him with “No” I would not come back but as long as it isn't him working the counter I'll be back. Thank you for your time.

Rental truck had low tire light as soon as it was turned on. Used equipment for 3 hours was charged a extra $20 for a late return, even after employee spoke with us, regarding not being able to get uhaul to find my location at facility when returned at 7:05 PM. Used rental for a total of 17 miles. Brought rental truck back with more gas then originally given with. Called multiple times regarding the late return charge 12/3,12/10 and 12/18. Was assured 4 times money would be refunded. After a month find out only $10 dollars were refunded.

My issue was not with the location but the pad lock on the back of the original truck I reserved at 3566 State Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Either the code I was given was incorrect or the lock was broken because I could not get it to unlock so I could access the truck key using the remote pick up. This delayed my entire day by more than an hour and of course my payment could not be immediately refunded to me and I had to pay twice in the same day to be transferred to pick up at the other Cuyahoga Falls location. This was extremely frustrating and I will not be using uhaul again or recommend anyone do so especially if trying to pick up a vehicle remotely. I understand remote pickups would be a positive measure during this pandemic but it's only beneficial if the equipment works.

There was someone at the counter waiting 10 min before I walked in and another 15 went by until a representative showed up and mumbled everything at us. As I got to leaving the lot the transmission slipped out of first and took 3 seconds to get into 2nd having someone almost rear end me. I gotten a flat tire due to the right rear tire being so bald it was losing air from the time I picked it up. I was in the middle of the second load I was taking and had to wait an extra hour and a half to get it fixed. The only reason it's not a 1 star review is the representative that took my rental back was great.

Every Uhaul truck I have ever rented has been very clean. This truck was dirty. There is no way this truck was cleaned after the previous use. First the dashboard had dried up I think hot chocolate. The floor around the seats had used suckers, mints, cigarette buds, dirt. In this world of Covid no way any cleaning was done on this truck probably not even the steering wheel was wiped down. Also there was so much snow and ice on windshield. It took us 15 minutes to clean off. I thought trucks were ready to go. The man who waited on me when I picked up was very nice no complaints in personnel just in condition of truck.

my father and i used a 10x10 outdoor storage unit for about 2 months. It worked out great. We both had our own alarm security cards and keys to our own locks so we can come and go as we needed too.

Truck was snow covered and NO snowbrush in cab, even tho we didn't have any snow Wed. Wipers froze to windshield and took valuable time to thaw. If the staff won't clean...at least provide a snowbrush so renter can do. Also check engine lite came on 5 min. after rental pick up.

When ordering the Uhaul i gave them my credit card to reserve it. I was told you didn't have to pay for it until the UHaul was turned in. The fee was deducted from my account anyway. My daughter was going to pay for the fees with her credit card when the Haul was turned in. And you WOULD NOT credit my account and put it on her card. I am not happy that i was misled. If ever we need a trailer again i will go elsewhere. NOT HAPPY. Thank God i had money transferred into my account in case something like that happened. Not only that we got the run around and had to call different numbers to try and get my account credited. To no avail.

I showed up at the location at the time of my reservation. I downloaded the app so that I could pick up the truck without going inside or talking to anyone. However, the vehicle that I was assigned was not in the parking lot. I ended up having to go inside and ask. The associate was very nice but told me that since she was the only one in the office that I would need to go to their remote lot around the corner to see if the vehicle was there, and if it was to come back and tell her to get the key. Luckily the person that drove me there hadn't left yet and was able to drive me over there and back and back again. Using the online app to get the vehicle, it says once you find the vehicle to walk right up to the counter and not wait in line. But when I did that, other customers were helped first. Then once I got to where I was to pick up items, I realized that the dolly I paid extra for was not in the truck so I had to drive all the way back to the store to get one. When I explained that I hadn't gotten the dolly I had paid for, there was no apology, no empathy, nothing. Granted, I was a little snippy because the whole process took way longer than it should have when I made a reservation to avoid delays. Bottom line, have the trucks in the lot and make sure they have the additional items that customers paid for.

The return address takes you to the wrong location to drop off the truck. It takes you to the storage side, and not the drop off the truck side. The attendant was super helpful and came and got the keys from me at essentially the back door because I'd already dropped off the truck in their parking lot.

This was the first time I've personally rented myself. I've been around them a lot .I came in without a reservation and I have to say I was very impressed by this location. It was clean and neat and Alex was very helpful. He explained the whole process start to finish ( after hours drop off, gas your contact number and everything) I'm in customer service and I appreciate being treated like I treat my customers. I made it back before closing and was greeted outside as I pulled in. I didn't catch his name but he explained the check in process and final charge. Again very professional. The whole experience was flawless from your end which was very helpful during my hectic day. I'm not much for writing reviews, but I felt my experience with Uhaul was above and beyond. Thank you, Dan Porter customer for life.

We were quoted 30.00 per day for the rental. The young man did NOT tell us there was a different rate for a one way rental. He even said we would be charged only for the days we actually used the trailer instead of the 5 day allowance. When I attempted to clarify with the young man, I got UHAUL instead that is when we were informed of the 601.00 flat rate. When I saw the 601.00 charge I assumed it was so high maybe because of a deposit. NO SIR I was charged 575.00 plus Tax. That is just wrong. I will not use nor recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Jeffrey Hunt 12:18 PM (0 minutes ago) to noreply I wanted to rent from a location only a 1/4 mile from my home. I was routed to another location a bit out of the way and of further distance. When I arrived the next day to pick up, I was told the location had been changed to an even further distance pick up location. I was told this was SOP. I went to the current pick up location and was given the normal run down and offered all the extra perks... the truck ended up being a beater with over 175,000 miles on the odometer. It rode like a 1800's buggy, was loud, and sucked fuel, plus the steering swayed back and forth like a kite in the wind. When we went to pull out the loading ramp, we discovered that the ramp came off the track and trolly under-carriage and we could not fully extend it out. We had to shove it back in and secure it with bungee cords. Needless to say, we loaded the entire truck from ground level and never had the use of the trucks ramp. When we reported the issue to U-haul, we were offered no assistance or aid. As the day turned to night, we then found out that none of the interior box lights worked....not surprised... The more discouraging thing was a brand new 26' truck sat un-used at the U-Haul location just down the street, as we passed it all 3 days that we had the clunker. Upon return, no discounts or apologies were offered, just a confirmation of the full price my card would be billed....sigh... I will never rent from U-Haul again.... take care of the equipment and stop renting lemons at full price

Very poor integrity of the locker door! It would seem to retract all the way up so we could access our items then fall down a few feet all the sudden on us. I rented a 10 x10 room indoor room. There is no number on the door. The room is under 8x10 in actual dimension. The tag on the latch had the wrong room number on it. I found the right room so that's not a big problem but I am paying for a 10x10.

The mobile website was very glitchy and hard to use. The alarm went off when we got to our unit and opened it, following directions. There was no lock inside the unit as promised. We decided not to use the unit and never moved anything into it.

Your help in store and on the phone were not customer oriented. Not friendly and not enough help in the store. The best experience I had was when I closed my account. The gentleman that helped me knew what he was doing and there were no delays in getting it done. I will say the visit was perfect as soon as I find out the money isn't taken out of my account at the end of the month. That it is truly closed.

The problems I experienced were not from The Cuyahoga Falls location. All problems were directly related to the UHaul Facility Tallmadge Ave 44310. Unfortunately, Mike Cuyahoga Falls Location could not work with UHaul Staff or Managemeny including his District Manager.
