I was able to do most of the paperwork in advance online. Took about 5 minutes to complete. A young man was available to help me get hooked up. The trailer worked very well. I returned it early because I didn't read the business hours, but there was already a person there to check me back in. Thank you for the great service.

I had a great experience until I tried to return my trailer after hours. Despite all attempts to use the uhaul.com/share including the two codes sent to me electronically while at the location, the system did not work as I was told it would. The app said it could not find my phone despite having the location turned on. After 25 min I had to call the toll free number to get help. They checked the trailer in for me with the above info in the notes, but told me I might have to pay a convenience fee- I'm still waiting to find that out. Otherwise a great experience.

Was a great experience. The storage lockers are really nice and clean. My only concern was the entrance to the 24/hr access lockers is not very good because I almost rolled with my SUV and 5x8 trailer. It did just snow but the entrance is on a slope and tricky to enter for the first time. Not exactly sure what to suggest other than some how leveling out the entrance instead of it has a slant that goes up on the left side...but that probably is not very feesable.

The gentleman that checked milage etc when we brought back van was rude in my books ....I spoke gave us the price for 2 days we had it less then 24 hours stood 12 feet away from us didnt even look at us .....I complained to Kim Singh she apologized for him and said she would speak to him ...I was happy with that !

This was a good experience. My only beef was the experience booking through the website, which is not at all your fault - but it needs to be said the the website is just absolute dogshit. Could not rent the ready-to-go boxes through the website for the dates I needed, had to call the hotline to get them to add them to my order. The staff at the store were EXCELLENT. Everything was quick, easy, well explained, and every staff member I spoke to was very warm, friendly, and profressional. I had to pull off an apartment move in 2 days with no warning, and uhaul made it WORK. Thanks for treating me well!

Kim gave me a confirmation call confirming that they had the truck I needed and it was at the pick up location I wanted. Kim...You Rock! Dealt with your frontliners twice on a rather hectic day for all of us. I applaud how they dealt with me; very professional while being very personable. Even overheard how they dealt with someone who learned yesterday that a credit card makes vehicle rentals possible; that card-less customer wasn't as happy as I was (to say the least) but staff did as good a job as was probably possible there.

Improve the process. I asked for an adapter for the hitch and was told they'd take care of it when trailer was hooked up. Nope, got sent back inside for it a moment later. Was told the trailer they had was 4-8'. Nope, was 4-7', had to go back inside to get the 5-9' trailer. Staffs general knowledge was poor and took forever.

Long , long wait time (20 min. +) to connect by phone. Then the call center did not know the answer to the specific question, then an other long wait time while the call center tried to get the answer. After a long wait time I gave up ,never did get my answer,poor poor service.

I do not smoke and the truck stank. It was nauseating. I was exhausted when I dropped the truck off. I took my flash light to see if i had left anything in the car. Underneath the passenger seat was a cigarette butt and behind driver seat was an empty red bull can. Gross but I didnt want to be held responsible for them so i cleaned them up. Also i used the app to make my arrangement for 7 am and my truck wasn't set up properly. I had to go in the store and rebook. It cost me time in my day and defeated the purpose of using the app.

Reserved a 10 by 15 unit 3 weeks in advance than rented a 26’ uhaul truck to move upon my arrival at the Dartmouth location was told my unit is no longer available and my reservation means nothing and it’s first come first serve! It took weeks of planning to have people help with the move an expensive uhaul truck to move our things and then to show up and not have the reservation mean anything was absolutely unacceptable. When I asked to speak to a manager at around noon I was told she was in a meeting until 6. The gentleman at the desk called Halifax and Bedford locations but also not available not to mention I’m paying for the truck per kilometre. For a storage facility not back up a reservation a customer has made is unimaginable as we are counting on the unit to be available if reserved. In the end we did get a 10 by 20 unit but took over an hour to find. I’m not sure how long our things will be in this unit but I do know when I need another unit in the future and with the costs associated with moving I will certainly be looking for a company who can be trusted. If no unit became available and I had a uhaul truck rented with our things in it what would have happened? Absolutely horrible experience.

I picked up the truck, it broke down 1.3km from the uhaul store within 5 mins of having it. I was left stuck in a parking lot for 4+ hours till they came to fix the truck. They did not offer to help me at all and when I said I wasn't happy the manager said “ we could have taken of longer” and today I got the bill for $33 for nothing... i am not happy and will not be using you guys again.

Photos for the online check in were a different vehicle and it was snowing in the pics. Prices for the pads were half as much in person vs online Truck had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked up, making it very difficult to predict how much fuel I needed to add at the end and I had to gas up before I even got to the first location... It felt like I was being ripped off as if I under fill I get charged but if I overfill you guys pocket the difference. 1/4 of a tank of gas is barely enough for a in-city move. This pissed me off the most to be honest. Return process went smooth.

Trailer I rented was in disrepair. The pins to hold the gate were broken. The check in process is painful as usual you complete everything online only to have to redo it all in the store. The attendant who helped me was great. The gentlemen who works alongside her always seems very pushy and dismissive. The store manager calls everyone sweetheart which is not appropriate.

Staff were wonderful and handled my request quickly and so efficiently, and such a great atmosphere, you couldn't help but giggle along with them. First thing: i asked at the counter to book a truck for the next day and pick up in a town 80 kms away. I was booked for a week away and pick up in the city the office was in. I canceled that order, messaged the office and i was not contacted about the screw up. Second, when i got the truck a few days later, i rolled into the storage area and the alarm was going off. The security intercom system was utilized by me to notify the office next door. I was blamed for setting the alarm off. It was certainly not me. Everything was dealt with about 45 minutes later when staff were running around trying to figure out the issue. Lady at the desk was awesome yesterday.

Kim was awesome!!! Helped me out when my reservation was messed up. The staff indoors at the office were NOT wearing masks. This is twice I've been in in a month and I can say I do not feel comfortable going back in knowing their lack of pandemic responsibility. Only 2 screens separated customers but those lines were not open, only the wheelchair and the one next to it. No sanitizers next to debit machines or desks. Uhaul is a HUGE company and am disappointed. I will be using a different company next time.

Staff was superb, I forgot a laptop in the hallway outside my locker and when I called about it the girl in the office went across the street to the locker site and brought it back to the office for me to pick up the next day. When I first rented there was a keypad access that unfortunately broke. It broke around December if I recall correctly and as far as I know it has yet to be fixed. I was told that they were waiting on a replacement part.

Glad I checked the U-Haul website and found out about the U-BOX option. Whole move went very smoothly, and I would recommend U-BOX to anyone. And it was half the cost of other options I looked at!
