Picking up the truck was smooth and excellent. No issues at all. Dropping the truck off, however is another story. Pulled in and there were 2 guys in the parking lot standing. My husband and I got out of he pickup truck and began to collect all our belongs, the whole time the 2 guys standing there watching us. I then went to walk inside and said to my husband I was going to return the keys and would meet him at our car. Again the 2 guys standing right by us. I then go inside and wait 20 minutes as no one is at the counter. A man came in about 5 minutes into me waiting and said the person would be out in just a minute. Then one of the 2 guys outside walked in behind the counter and got something. Then here comes the other guy from outside in to get something from behind the counter. Both of the guys that were outside saw me standing there waiting with the keys in my hand. Finally a women comes out and asks how she can help me. I said I was there to return the truck and she said "oh you do that outside with the 2 guys there." I was PISSED. The 2 guys watched me empty the cab of the truck with my belongings, heard me say I was going into return the keys, both of them saw me standing at the counters waiting, and not once did they say they were to take the keys. I went back outside and waited and finally a guy came over and took the keys. Not impressed at all with the drop off at all.

Costumer service was awesome .! Super friendly and approachable. I had a 15ft truck . That previously had a repair . And it wasn't done correctly . Truck ended up having a leak with water getting 40% of my stuff soaked .

I rented the plastic bins which I paid for in advance online. The process of picking them up took about 30 minutes - so slow. Also the bins were not clean.

Service desk was rude, seemed understaffed. No paper contract anymore. Trailer was hooked up, buddy did a walk around to "check the lights" and when I pointed out that one didn't work he said "the important ones do".. they're all important. Got on site to load the trailer to find it still had things in it, and was definitely not cleaned out. At least it had brand new tires I returned the trailer in better condition than I had found it and replaced the burnt out bulb myself..

I did the on-line pre-check-in and was amazed at how quick I was able to drive away in the truck. The staff was super efficient and knowledgeable of the process and it was a breeze. The return was just as smooth; a man was right there to take charge and tell me what my exact charges were....I am impressed with U-Haul !

When I opened the trailer there was a bucket full of dirt and broken glass from some 4 foot long CLF tubes. when I returned my trailer, I was told that my rental was going to be discounted for the dirt and glass. That discount didn't happen. I would still rent from here again, but next time i will inspect the trailer before i leave

I would very much prefer to pick up a vehicle that has a full tank of gas rather than one that is half full. It's a bit tricky gauging how to half fill a tank when returning. Also, when requesting that customers "scan the location bar code" please indicate where that is. I spent about 15 minutes trying to scan or photograph a bar code on the door only to discover the correct bar code (as far as I can tell) was on the key return box.

-Staff were wonderful! All of my concerns are out of their hands. -On Feb 21 I booked a 20' truck/2 dollys/2 carts to pick up in Halifax on April 30, quoted $90 -April 27, I was notified I had to pick it up in Dartmouth -When I came to pick up truck, NO dolly's, NO carts -After dropping off truck, got a bill for $180 AND a bill for $90 -Been on hold 45 minutes so far to get the bill sorted outl

It's absolutely ridiculous that in the THIRD wave of a pandemic your stores don't have a direct phone number. You have to wait on hold with the rest of Canada just to try to get a hold of someone who won't be able to help you because they're not at the location you used. Customer service can try to call the store that doesn't answer. We sent an email to the GM that was never answered and now we're waiting on hold AGAIN just to get a hold of the store because we're wondering about things being left behind in the truck. The only way to get a hold of someone at the store is to physically drive to the location. How have companies completely transformed to online/phone methods but uhaul doesn't even have a direct phone line to the store. Completely disappointed with this lack of efficiency of this company.

Reservation time was changed with almost no notice, giving us less time to complete the move. No dollies available, even though 2 were booked. That wouldn't have been a big deal if it were all adults helping with the moving, but with COVID rules we weren't allowed to have non-household people help us move because we are a family of 5, which made our move even more difficult because we didn't have proper equipment and 5 hours less time than needed. I know COVID rules aren't your issue but changing my reservation time and not having the equipment I booked screwed us over. I'm also still waiting for the $67 difference between what I was charged and how much it actually cost.

This location was great, however, in the email confirmation I received regarding my UHaul order, the drop-off location specified was a 15 minute drive past it at a Laundromat. We went to drop off the UHaul at the Laundromat, as that was the location provided to me via email, and they would not take it. After calling UHaul, they told us that the drop-off location was actually the closer location and we had to back track, wasting almost an hour and even more gas and kms. I had even called UHaul that morning to specify in which they told me that the Laundromat was the correct drop-off location. It was not specified on our receipt, either. Next time I would recommend that UHaul correctly informs their customers of the correct drop-off location as this made our moving day even more stressful than it had to be.
