Even though the vehicle was reserved online the person who was driving the truck for me had to walk way out in the parking lot to retrieve the vehicle it was not near the building at all and it was raining.. I did not peel we got good customer service.

Jae and Jordan are the best! Thank you for all of the help after a difficult one way move from Denver during a blizzard and then having to return for a bit! I really appreciate how you both took time with me to get everything ready for me. Thank you Jae for hooking up the trailer for me on the back of my behiclw and making sure I was good to go! My last adventure was a success! I have used Uhalu since 1990 for any moves large or small....it's because of people like you both that I keep coming back! Also want to welcome the new GM Darrell (DJ) to the team, you were very sweet upon my return of the trailer and I can not thank you enough! Thanks Decatur Illinois on Pershing Team! Overall positive experience across the board. Ended up being 120 $( with fuel) for a one day...120 mile rental. 1 $a mile. Would have liked it to be a bit less, but I got done what I needed to and it was actually quite a bit cheaper than Penske quoted. LOL

Everyone was very nice and I was able to walk in and rent exactly what I needed and did not have to reserve the truck like I had to in a different state. Kevin was awesome to work with.

Both gas consumption and mileage were an issue. An extra mile was added on my receipt, though I didnt think to take a photo of the mileage before leaving the location. That and my trip only used 12 miles, though it took more than 3 gallons of gasoline to fill it up to where supposedly was before I left. It may have been full but with room for more. I basically paid to give Uhaul free gas. When asking about this I was presented with the notion that rising gas prices were somehow to blame for the discrepancy in gas. (Gas is what it has been) unless the cargo van really gets only 4 miles to the gallon which I doubt. Could have just said you wont do anything and dont care. Not good service. Wont be back to this location.

Move in was easy, convenient and the entry/access procedure explained to my satisfaction. Further access has been simple and convenient.

Beyond easier than i ever expected. Was a contactless after hours move in with a free first month and free lock with only a 7,95 processing fee. Maximum security and climate controlled with inside bays to load and unload to escape the frigid outside winter conditions. Never been happier with a storage process which is why i took the time to write this review

Place was clean, organized, and fully stocked with anything one would want when moving. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. My uhaul experience was very helpful and easy. It is expensive,but with how well the truck performed and the great service, it was worth every penny. 10/10

The trailer I rented worked fine when picked up but had lighting issues hours later. The connections were all tight and I stopped a few times to disconnect and re-connect them to no avail. I made it through the rental and showed the facility where the trailer was dropped so it could be looked at.

Use different tamper ties for the dollies, it broke without my touching it. I wasn't charged thankfully.

Due to the office being closed, I had know access to a broom to sweep out the very little glass from a small broken lamp that was left behind leaving me to be charged the beyond unacceptable outrageous unacceptable 100 $cleaning fee that I was NEVER told about or explained!! Plus the guy lied and said the gas was just under the same level it was when picked up. Me and my 2 sons made sure the gas was definitely returned with the right amount of gas, but still charged me 50 $. Needless to say I'm outraged at this 150 $total RIP off fee!!! And will be spreading the word of how Uhaul will screw you over every chance it gets!! Plus the guy who sold me the lock for my uhaul storage only sold me 1 lock & never told me that my storage would be 2 separate units. I was given the impression it would be 1 big unit, not 2 different ones.

1st I was charged 3 times bit was told my crd would jst be on file. 2nd I was nagged by this company location 3rd The guy who checked the truck back in & took final payment didn't know what he was doing.

I wanted a contactless pick up and delivery. Both times someone came within six feet of me. And none of them had a mask. Maddie was also very rude when she came to grab the keys from me. She accused me of putting my own lock on there and when I told her it was their lock she had to ask me what the combination was. Very unprofessional. I am not pleased with my service at all.

I always love using this location. Staff are super helpful and always very nice. Storage units are clean and easy to access. My car battery died in the parking lot because I had left my lights on, and a staff member even came over and asked if there was anything he could do to help!

The truck had what appears to be soda stains, the passenger door had a hard time staying closed which is a safety issue. The clerk who waited on me gets 10 stars, he was very courteous and patient and very efficient and knowledgeable. Transaction was smooth.

When choosing a moving helper on the uhaul site choose carefully read the reviews and don't always go with the cheapest mover. Alpha Movers in Decatur were extremely professional and came to our rescue when Coleman Beaufort failed.

The trailer lights didnt work correctly, there was damage to the trailer, the tires were over inflated and had cracks in the tread, the door was difficult to open and shut.

I set the alarm off twice; I didn't realize I needed to insert my code to deactivate it. It would have been helpful to have that detail highlighted in the email that was sent. The staff was wonderful and helpful and made the move in very easy

The onsite manager that handled my storage transaction was Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I recommended a UHAUL storage the same day to my sorority who has been looking for a climate controlled unit to store items for our organization.

I had never rented any units for self storage before. Last year, 2019, I retired and had to downsize. Kevin Barringer was absolutely the MOST kind and helpful person at U-Haul. He worked with me as I made 3 unit changes, due to the need for more space. I am moving, and one of the first businesses I looked for was U-Haul. Thank you Kevin for your knowledge and professionalism.

went Sunday to put items into my storage unit they were to be open at 9am, needless to say they weren't, it was a little after 10am I had to wait for 20+ minutes for someone to get there to open them.
