The original rental's brake line was leaking which left me without a truck and out of 30 $worth of gas.. Wade Hampton location helped me immediately! They were courteous and greeted me when I walked in unlike the Grove Rd location. The manager there needs to be replaced.. Fast! If Wade Hampton couldn't help me, I'd go to Penske before Grove Rd.LEVERNE W.

We only came here because the 1st reservation we had #99945619 we couldnt pickup because they were closed by 4:00. No one told us they closed that early. A & J Service Repair, very unhappy with that location. Wade Hampton location was great & very helpful.PAMELA J.

This is an actual UHaul facility with an actual in and out for the trucks like a real rental - kind of nice considering the other UHaul's we have dealt with... We dropped off the truck a day early. They were very pleasant, but they did NOT have us check the mileage, nor did they give us a receipt to show we checked it in. UHaul needs to stop relying on the online so much. Technology does fail. We were on the road for 2 days before we were sure they received the truck.David H.

I was given the a location. 19 Piney Mountain Rd to pick up truck. I had to wait for 1/2 for a person and when I did he said they had no trucks. I went to a place on Wade Hampton who had one truck left but was blocked in for 1/2. I missed the window with move in and was charged 100 $by the company. There were no blankets or dolly as I requested (my bad for not checking) and after I dropped it off a person from uhaul asked where the blankets were. I called back and it is almost impossible to get through by phone. Not a good experience at all but the guys at the location were willing to work with me. Any compensation would be appreciated because I was short handed because of the delay and cost me money for your mistake. Merci!SCOTT R.

It took over 40 minutes to check in. Which caused me to return it over an hour longer than I expected, which was after hours and resulted in an extra 20 $fee. I don't think I should be responsible for bringing it in n late and charged the after hours fee. They only had one employee who was doing her best to do everything.russell P.
Was a little busy on a Saturday so a couple of return vehicles were blocking the equipment return lane which made it a challenge to return the trailer. After several minutes an employee directed me to an area of the lot to return the trailer.DAVID CARL B.

Car transport was never checked in. It went out again and I was billed 2 extra charges for wrong drop off location and late return charges. I still have not been reimbursed for this. About 640 $charges to my bank card... I returned the truck and car transport to the correct location and on time??? Can someone please help with this?? Make it easier to get a hold of an actual human being on the phone. I was having trouble with my truck to get the trailer redelivered to the store and never could get a hold of anyone. And because I got there 7-8 hours late I was charged for an additional day of rental which I don't deem fair.Shaina H.

We had used the online app and we're to pick up a truck from a different location. The other location was shut down but no notices were given to us. Thanks to the 529 Wade Hampton branch, we got a truck and we're able to complete a move. Nice job by that team to literally save our day!Matt H.

I rented it to haul a rental tool from Home Depot only to find out Home Depot wont allow rental trucks to pull their rental equipment. YOu might let you r customers know. I'm out a 50 $rental and got ZERO benefit. Not likely i'll be backJAMES G.

This unit was rented due to a move that did not go as planned. I had movers cancel on me at the last minute and needed somewhere to store my personal belongings until movers were available. I liked the fact that the unit was inside. The staff was excellent at providing my access card and lock and key. The unit itself was clean and very easy to access. When it was time to turn everything back in I had no trouble at all. The staff was friendly fast and efficient. Demetria was so very nice and pleasant! We forgot to bring some bottles of water and she gave my wife & me two bottles of her own. The restroom was spotless and the two young men inside were very helpful and pleasant. The one that initially waited on us even helped me pick a unit for storage that would be easiest for me to drive the 20' truck to! When we finished putting our things in the unit, the other young man who checked us out was nice enough to get the truck and back it out for me. Very unprofessional. Over priced. My unit was ransacked and items like a bookcase belonging to my grandfather stolen. Due to the gate being broken for five months. Units full of mouse/rat excrement & urine. Everything stored had to be thoroughly cleaned before moving into our home, resulting in a extremely costly expense. Very difficult to move around facility due to U-haul moving trucks parked haphazardly along the sides and in the rows leading to the storage unit. I definitely do NOT recommend unless you're desperate. The storage facility I use now is locked, video cameras record each vehicle. And your time you open & close the gate until you open & close to leave is recorded. Only one vehicle can enter at a time and the units are clean. For a lot less money. Thank goodness I no longer have to use the storage facility at 529 Wade Hampton Blvd! One more thing, the largest unit they offer is 10 x 15. If you have a full 26 ft. truck you'll need two units. And that's with professional people packing each unit neatly and using every bit of space. Two units cost 289,90 $ every month, with vermin infested, hard to get to, no security, etc. Decide for yourself, but I won't use them again.Kathy B. | Expérience générale
Although I give praise to your staff at the Wade Hampton facility in Greenville, SC, the storage room was not in the best condition. The first room I rented had fiber panels in the ceiling damage and hanging from the ceiling coming in contact with it. I complained and the staff moved me to another room. This room had rat droppings on and in my boxes. I complained and ask for the box that controlled the rats. It didn't work and later I complained again then they moved me to another room. The rats were coming from a small hole in the rear wall This was a nasty, unsanitized, and unsafe room. I moved out yesterday and I will never rent another storage area from this Uhaul.
