The lady we reserved uhual from thought we were dropping it back off in mobile, Al in 24 hours after we told them we were taking it to Washington state. Also told us we could bring to any said location in area but actually picked a location for drop off without putting it on our papers so we drove around to many locations in area and no one knew which was correct location.

BARBARA A.Make sure that locations honor their hours of operation and don't allow for 7am reservations at locations that don't open until 830am or later. Our initial reservation was for 9am and the location wasn't open so the reservation rep switched us to another location for 10am and they were closed too. We wanted a trailer pickup in Birmingham, AL but neither location was open at the times posted so we didn't waste anymore travel time we changed our reservation to Mobile. It cost us more to pickup in Mobile but the ease of our transaction was worth it!! The location even called us to confirm our reservation when we hadn't arrived by the 12pm reservation time. They were friendly and very knowledgeable.

BARBARA A.We were moving out of state and were quoted $560 and ended up being $725. we needed help finding a padlock to lock the truck and the associate gave us the most expensive lock and when we got home the lock didn't fit and the store was closed. On our way, the trucks RPM kept going extremely high and the check engine light wouldn't shut off. The truck was loud and burnt our feet from the floor being so hot with the engine over working

I have not been able to even talk to corporate about the issues even after waiting on hold on the phone for over 2 hours. Highly disappointed in Uhaul and will not use them again nor recommend to anyone.

We actually live closer to Schillinger, but of all the U-Haul stores we've used, hers is the best. We will definitely go out of our way to use Tisha's store as long as she's there!

Virginia E.Nothing, and I mean nothing went right on this move. U-haul has every excuse to not have an answer. 4 days late. Movers they recommend are not reliable (1 day late with out even a call) and all U-haul will do is say they cannot do anything about it. No way to track your boxes. Only sent the transaction receipt 4 days later. Because even though you think you can look at it on the app, you actually cannot until after the end.
Adam C.Truck got a flat tire, and the process for getting it fixed was almost unbelievable. The location has at least 3 maintenance bays that were actively doing some sort of work on Uhaul vehicles. I limp in with a flat tire, and they can't change it on site to the spare. Instead I have to quickly limp back to my house before the rain hits and wait for road side assistance. Took time away from my rental period, added distance, and prevented me from getting full use of the truck.

Jasmine B.Train the hookup persons better. The trailer hitch became disconnected from my trailer tow bar and the trailer tilted up when I tried to load trailer with my motorcycle. I was fortunate that it happened while I was loading the motorcycle and not while I was transporting it.
WILTON G.I had reservation for 10 foot truck. I drove 14 miles one way from my house to location and they did not have a 10 foot truck available for me. I reserved 10 foot as i did not want to climb loading ramp which was on all larger trucks. I had to take 15 foot truck which I did not want. If I had wanted 15 foot I could have gotten at a closer location only 4 miles from my house. When initial contract given to me the paperwork indicated the fuel tank was 15/16 full. When I got in the truck the fuel gage was only showing 3/4 full. The female employee did not go out to truck with me to verify fuel quantity before I left. I actually spent $50,03 to fill fuel tank upon return even though I only went a total of 35 miles, of which 28 miles were the round trip from my house and back. Mirror outside on passenger side of truck inoperative. Would not remain stationary. A very bad experience !!

Kay H.The truck we received was in I'll repair & if and if you put your foot on the brakes it would make an extremely loud strange sound then the key would not turn so we could not crank the truck. But we had already loaded so I didn't want to call roadside assistance the first day, it crank up the next morning so we went to try to transport our things to the location which was only across town and the truck broke down so we had to call roadside assistance, they said it would be an hour and a half before they could be there, so we would have to just sit there in the parking lot while we were broken down. My husband kept tinkering with it and we got it started again and took the load of furniture to the location we were trying to get to but we had to keep it running the whole time because we were afraid to turn it off. So in total I ended up calling customer service three times talked to roadside assistance two times and I called the store and was put on hold for a long time to tell them what happened. When we return the truck to the store location the manager was rude and told us that it did not happen she was very argumentative and I couldn't believe it I had to show her my phone records to show that I have been on the phone with customer service

Moved out August 21st and followed all steps online to complete move out process. Manager never confirmed move out on her end, yet a week later when the next months rent would have been due started sending letters for rent and overdue fees. Attempted to contact her multiple times to correct this and complete the move out on her end. She never returned emails or calls. Contracted corporate several times and each time they said they saw the notes on the account from the previous corporate call noting I had moved out and for the manager to complete her portion of the move out. It was not until 5 days after my most recent contact to corporate when they finally pushed the case through to upper management, causing her regional manager to be notified of what she had been failing to do, that she completed the move out and I received this email to review the facility. Tisha Couch is either an unfit manager, or just flat out lazy. Which seems to be a trend in this area among Uhaul facilities. Will never be doing business with Uhaul again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

lakisha y. | Premières impressionsThey have changed mangers so much when you go inside you don’t know who’s the manger and who’s not on my due date I have people calling me on the same day my storage is due and I got a $15 late fee the same day and then the manger had used my credit card cause I paid my bill with her with my card she used my card the next month and paid my bill and said that I told her to sign me up for autopsy why would I tell a person I heartily even know to do that how do you just use a person card without their permission this area can not ever keep no manger at every time you go there it’s a bunch of people hanging out in the front of the office like they just came from a club they are so unprofessional and ghetto it used to not be like this right now no one has no respect for anyone I love my storage other than that I have been with uhaul since 2017 but the choice with management now is terrible

I understand it's a historical building and the city will not allow it, but if customer satisfaction is a priority, why not consider adding it on the outside. I'm sure this would not take away from the building.
