This location had the best customer service and the staff are extremely personable and friendly. It’s rare to find such good people here in Phoenix, from my experience over the past two years. I would not use any other location than this one because the service is Far above average for Phoenix. The ONLY suggestion I make is that you carry the four wheel furniture dollies at this location because when I reserved online it was an option to add to my order, and I needed one, but once I arrived I was told they don’t have them at this location. But the associate was apologetic and their friendliness made up for the shortcoming that is likely a corporate decision and not that if the branch location. Otherwise this location is Top Notch !! I would recommend to anyone!

Vehicle not washed but we did not have to wash it either so that was fine. Inside of the vehicle was fine. Gas mileage and power of the vehicle was great. The only problem was damage to the vehicle prior to my renting it. That was unfortunate, however, I'm grateful for the resolution. I'll be more careful in the future.

Service was fine, but issues with billing has been AWFUL! I have had issues with billing for over 3 months and have been on hold for hours trying to contact someone. I have filled out the billing form to get the credit back on my credit card and it still has not been completed. Two times, I have been talking with someone and they say "one moment please" and I am on hold for over 15/20 minuets. When I say "hello?" to see if they are still on the line, no one replies.

This is the second time renting with your company where I had had to go to a different location other then the one I reserved my vehicle from thru no fault of my own The original location where i reserved the truck was only two miles from my home. I was told the morning of the rental that the 10" foot truck i reserved at that location was involved in an accident. I could get a larger truck at same rate but a larger truck would not work at the event i was attending. In order to get a 10 foot truck I had to travel 12 miles passing three U-haul locations and adding an additional 12 miles to my total millage.The truck I finally received had a tire warning but I was told it was ok to drive. The check out process took longer than it should have and I resent having my drivers license photographed on cell phones with my personal information. As many times I have rented from you this information should be in your data base.

I went in knowing the 10’ truck didn’t have a ramp. But if there was a point in the system where you tried to upsell the 15’ truck with a ramp for only an additional $10, I would have been like, hmm, maybe I should invest $10 for the convenience of a ramp. This benefits your profit and the customers convenience.

When I went to return the truck at 620pm (the posted hours says it closes at 7pm), there was no one in the office and the doors were locked. I didn’t know how to return the truck then since they had said that they would be available until 7pm. I was a little flustered and saw that I could return the truck on my mobile device by taking pictures, entering information, and dropping the keys in a Dropbox. While I was taking pictures the door was closed/locked on the vehicle with the keys locked inside. My fault, but surely they must have another set of keys and could help me out. The employee working there then shows up out of the woodwork and walks right past me without even saying hello. I had to go get his attention. Where was he 15 minutes ago when I was trying to return the truck? Had he been there, none of this would have happened. Anyway, I explain to him what happened and ask if he might be able to help me out with another set of keys. Apparently there is only one set of keys for this truck according to him. Surely I’m not the only one that this has happened to and they have some sort of unlocking service? He says no and that it’s my problem and not his. So I ended up having to call for a locksmith and spend more money than I had wanted to in the first place. It was unfortunate that I had to unlock the truck myself and that they didn’t have an extra key, but that was my fault, however his lack of effort to help me, his being rude, and him not being in the office when I had needed to return the truck made the situation so much worse than it had to be. I would not recommend using this facility.

All the employees are very nice except for the owner Sarah. When I returned it she made me turn on the lights to make sure the lights was working. She made me turn the signal lights to see it was working. It was odd to do it, because whenever I rented a rental vehicle, I didn't have to do the extra steps. Sarah is not very friendly. She doesn't smile. She doesn't greet you when I came in. Looking at it, I think she doesn't want to be there. She really doesn't have really good customer service. I have done mystery shopping and she needs improvement with here personality. Her employees treats me like a person. Sarah treats people like a number. She needs training. I can't believe she is the owner. What if customers drop of the keys in the drop box and leave the van park on the drive way. Who will check on them if they don't check the head lights and signal lights? That is the first time that I was made to check the signal lights and headlights in front of her. She should do it. I don't think I should do it. Customers should not be treated like that. Remember if you rent from this place and you happen to meet up with Sarah then she will treat you like a criminal. But otherwise the van I rented was good. One thing I don't like is the van it's up a lot of gas.

The mobile rental experience did not work. I had to go into the office. They couldn’t explain why the mobile rental wasn’t working so I had to rent through the office personnel.

I intentionally chose this location (which is 20 minutes out of my way) because of the early self serve pick up option. We showed up to get the truck at 6am, followed the self service process, but the code for the lock did not work. I called customer service and they couldn't do anything. We had to wait until 7am when the office opened. She could not open the lock so gave us a truck that was smaller. We had to make 2 trips vs one, were behind schedule which resulted in additional charges for my other rental vehicle and more gas spent. I am so disappointed .

I left a few groceries in the UHaul , easy for Dixie the employee to see when she went to check the mileage and she did NOT tell me that I had forgotten them. Moving is stressful enough and I’m sure I’m not the first to leave things behind, but UHaul is reputable. I called after hours and got the answering service and was told to call back at 7 a.m. I won’t do it as will be a waste of my time... I left milk and frozen food as I live on 3rd Ave. I would however like the $15.00 refunded that I spent on the groceries. I disabled and cannot drive. My son was with me. If not refunded; I will go up the ladder. I’m moving in 2 weeks out of a 10x15 storage unit and plan on using UHaul. I’ve used you all my life. But if this is not resolved, not only will I tell everyone I talk to about my shitty experience today, but will use another moving service. This is just uncalled for. When she checked the mileage, she saw the 2 bags of groceries and didn’t say a darn thing. Not integral on UHaul’s part and she should be fired. Regretfully, Cynthia Riddle 602-909-6346

1. The woman who took care of me, when I returned the van was excellent! 2. The young man who waited on me, when I picked up the van, needs to be trained more. A. There are 2 doors to this Uhaul, I walked up the steps and pressed on a button, to get access and no one came to the door. I tried 3 times and no one came to the door. I then walked around and found another entrance and when I walked up the steps, he was on the phone talking to someone. So, he was more busy talking to his Mom, than taking care of a customer. B. When he pulled up my order, instead of taking care of me, he started talking about what he had just talked about with his mom. Hey, the guy is loney with no one to talk to, but he kept talking about his converstaion with his Mom etc. and this distracted him, while he was trying to get me through the paper work. C. He asked me what zip code I was driving the car too and I had and wasted time, when I told him, I was asked that question and it should be already noted. He looked and said, yes, there it is. D. He kept talking etc and I finally told him, I am trying to get some place and he got the message and was more focused. E. We went out to the car and I had to remind him, to do a walk about and look at what might be dents and scratches etc. I got the impression, he wasn't going to do that and I noted the scratch's between the "X's" where there were previous scratches on the paper, I signed. F. I asked him to acquaint me with the van: and to his credit he took the time, to let me get familiar with the Van: turn signals, turning over head light on etc. So, I appreciated that a lot. G. He is a young man and he just needs so more training on how to be professional. H. Oh, he didn't give me a receipt and when he told me, what the initial bill was going to be, I was surprised because it was about $100 more, than the quote I was given. There was an extra fee at the being of the bill that was almost $100, I think it was $97? He couldn't tell me what that was? So, I needed that van and thought, I will have to talk to someone about that when I return it. Which I did. The nice lady that took care of me on the 16th, when I returned the van, explained it was a holding charge and total my bill and gave me a receipt etc. She was on top of it. Also, one more thing, He over charged me for 2 box's I bought. They showed up on my credit card as a separate charge for $8.15 from Uhaul on 1/11. I thought the 2 boxes I got where $2.50 each and he over charged me. I called and talked to someone about that, and she is going to check the paper work. I never used those boxes and they were in the back of the van when I returned them. I don't mind being charged for them but please don't over charge me for them. So, please train this young man, so he represents your company in a better light. Thank you, Rachel Hart

The U Haul experience went great. The only challenge with this location is the lack of customer parking. Much of the parking in the area requires residency permits and it wasn't easy to find a spot nearby.

I booked online, and it said this location had the 24-hour self-pickup and -dropoff option, which I registered to do and learned how to do. When I got there, I actually had to speak to someone because there was no lockbox or anything. I also had to return it the next day because I needed it slightly past closing time. Lastly, there's nowhere to park other than paid lots so I had to factor in a full-day's cost to my rental. Then, the van said the rear door was ajar, but the employee assured me it was fine and just a sensor error. This was still irritating, as the light in the back would stay on. However, the employee that helped me was sympathetic, which I appreciated. Still, I won't be going to this location again.

The agent, Roland Silva, is not merely rude, I believe he is a danger to the public. I could tell his civil facade is thin and he didn't it almost instantly. Basically, hearted my four hours before we were done, ok if that's the rule, but then he took a long chatty call. When I asked him to put the call on hold while we finished up he 'lost it's. From that point on, I just can't adequately describe his bizarre behavior. He got me so upset that I swore under my breath and he truly made me afraid for my safety. I would never subject myself or others to that treatment. I got physically ill afterward.

The phone app was wonky. It said it could not find my location. It probably required some sort of browser setting that I was not familiar with. Roland (the employee who helped me) eventually had to fill in the info on his computer. So this is NOT a location issue but a UHAUL software issue.
