Have reserved equipment ready and available when customer come to pick it up. San Bernadino and Redlands locations do not coordinate assets. While I waited for hours to get my reserved u boxes 2 other families were told their reserved equipment was not available and they were left hanging in the breeze with no other alternative available. I was told repeatedly that I could have a shipper pick up the full boxes from the yard to transport to Alaska, then told after I delivered the boxes and I was back inAlaska that could not happen due to Liability ???? However I could have a private individual pick them up??? Liability??? UHaul is messed up and needs to tighten their business model. I will never recommend UHaul to anyone as a moving option.

This location was extremely crowded and hard to get into. Once we arrived, no one was there to greet us and we were not sure what to do to return the truck. After about 3 minutes a staff member came over and he was very nice and helpful, but things should have been more clear beforehand.

There were issues every step of the way. Drop off was not delivered til the day after and I wasn't even notified until my delivery window had passed. The next day, they were late again. Pick up was a day late with no notification again. There were several issues with my ubox delivery to my new address that were never mentioned before I tried scheduling, and we're it handled promptly, accurately, and I spent a week calling every day talking to several people to get the help we needed. So disappointed. Moving is stressful as it is and the lack of knowledge and communication made it that much more stressful. Managent was incompetent and unwilling to help, return my calls, or step up to get the issues solved. I'm disappointed to say the least. I never did get a call back from the GM. That's been the theme however, no one seems to want to get things done and it puts a lot of unnecessary stress on the customer. Horrible.

I ordered q storage facilty.i showed up with a loaded trailer and they told me to go to a different spot and then go back. Shit show. I could turn trailer around and i couldn't get in. Then was told I was blocking entrance. Fucking disaster. Get ur shit together Uhaul u have been around.too long for this bullshit. It was the callcenter and Colorado that didn't inform me. Not her fault. Shitty training i bet.

Initial reservations were messed up, no truck available to tow trailer, no trailer, (someone took the wheels) no uboxes available (all either broken or without covers). The folks in charge of the uboxes wouldn't answer the phone when Victor tried to call them many times for assistance or status of the uboxes. Employee Victor Gutierrez however single handedly saved the day. Got a trailer from another location, repaired and found covers for the uboxes, the truck to tow showed up and he sent me on my way with a smile. Unfortunately he was unable to help two other customers because their reserved vehicles were not available. It was a real zoo there for awhile. I recommend Victor gets a promotion and the local manager get fired. I do not recommend UHaul for unreliability in scheduling or reservations. The crew at the rental office bent over backwards to see an person from out of town with no recourse was taken care of.

I said yes about the truck being clean but it could have been better. I just chalked it up as " oh well I am renting a public vehicle". It would have made my life extremely easier to have been able to go one way without having to return the truck to that particilar location. Because of that I had issues getting the truck back on time. I arrived to return the truck 4 mins after closing time and the guy was at least kind enough to inform me that I could drop the keys in the return box. Had I known that I could have returned the truck the previous evening. But the website said no after hour returns. As of yet I still have not been emailed my receipt with total charges to my credit card. Other than that my rental was fine. Thank you

Only complaint I have is that, I was still charged the full amount even though my final receipt shows that I went less miles and was told I would be paid the difference. Can I please get my money back for the miles I didn't use. My final receipt shows $115 and I got charged 132 and change.

I did a reservation online, I went first to another location I got there and they didn't have the truck so I call customer service and they sent me to this location I was supposed to pay like $45 for 3 hours and when I got there they told me it was more then $100 they never told me they charge per miles I will never rent again

Update information on the computer. When calling to confirm, agent should inform customers that equipment is not one way, as well as inform customers which equipment is actually available. I reserved a cargo trailer online, when agent called to confirm, agent should have informed me of the above. Caused me to have to settle for a utity trailer, which is not what I reserved, because od lack of communication on the agents part, I had to go an addiltional 35 miles out of my way, because it was not one way, only in town use

The truck seemed to be geared wrong for the work. Needs to be a 6 or 8 speed transfer. A bluetooth radio upgrade for hands free cell use. For easier communication with other parties traveling with the truck. A USB connection or Aux input for my music the AM/FM reception is hard to find stations I want to hear. (Not to many choices in the high desert of So. Cal.) The 20ft truck drove adequately loaded or empty. Thank you.

I had some break-ins from people and missing items but the U-Haul Moving Storage was weeded out from thieves and now I think it's just not being vandalized anymore Courtesy and professional are the staff, which I like and friendly with respect is a plus for me I got a place now but I am skeptical about it just making sure I don't get ripped off, here, that's why I haven't ended my storage unit yet, LA is very unpredictable. And I just want to be cautious about it Eventually I will be ending my stay at the storage unit real soonThank you U-Haul Moving Storage

The pick up location was not my original pick location. U-haul sent me to the wrong location and it cost me time and money to go to place that had the right truck for me. The first place I was sent to does not carry any trucks over 10 feet but I ordered a 20 foot and 26 foot. U-haul needs to make a note of which vendors carry what size trucks.

My reservation was not honored as there was no truck when I went to pick it up and the vendor never answered the phone. I was denied the $50 guarantee because I canceled the reservation. I had to make a new reservation and was delayed several hours.

This 26' truck drove fine on surface streets. However once I went past 50 mph on certain parts of the freeway the cabin starting bouncing violently and had to slow way down. I was on a time crunch so I didn't have time to try and return it to see if there was another truck, but I had to call them and let them know. Also the padlock that came with the 26' truck was not working.

I will definitely return to this U-Haul Storage if I need storage in the future. The staff was very helpful, polite & professional. My unit was very clean and the location was great. (unit 5) Sometimes they were VERY busy & it took a little while to get help, BUT it was very understandable … The young men working were definitely taking care of the customers in a polite and friendly manner.

There is a severe smell of moldyness And quite a few homeless people hanging around inside the building and I think one man took a shower in the restroom while we were there.
