Your employee at checkin time was exceptional. Also the manager at checkout was very friendly, and knowledgeable.

Jeff T.When a customer has a confirmed reservation at 8am they should not have to drive to the store only to watch the UHaul representative gave to call the previous customer who has your reserved equipment still out. I had to wait 45 minutes to pick up the truck I reserved. No apologies. No discount. No phone call to alert me of a problem with my reservation. No extension of my time on the rental â€" just a loss of 45 minutes without UHaul carrying one bit. Really bad experience.

Larissa M.did a reservation for 2 days, with a credit card. was 1 hour late to pick up and they had given my vehicle away. had to take a bigger vehicle,did not want bigger or would have reserved it. bigger = need more area, use more gas. when i returned, was first in line and waiting for ANYONE to come check it in. manager walked out, checked in car behind me.

Kevin B.we rented the appliance dolly here since the original U-Haul we had ordered from didn't have one and neglected to tell us until we got there to pick up the truck and dolly... these folks helped us rent the truck in lansing and drop it off here... we transported the dolly to lansing, packed everything up and moved it all to fort wayne and dropped everything here... it all worked perfectly ... very happy with outcome and service from these folks.

Fred R.They are trying to charge me for 200 mikes and I only drove the van 25 miles. I have discussed with the manager, Ian Kacala and with the district Manager , Mike Eastwood, that there must be something wrong with the equipment. Mike said they would wait a couple of days to see if it happened to other customers and then he or Ian would call and let me know what they found. No call but they charged me the full amount. I will call my credit card company and let them dispute. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional team, they not only refused to believe me but the treatment I received from the sales associate and Ian was very condescending and discriminatory. Additionally, my gas purchase to refill the tank, which was only 3/4 full when I picked it up. was $15. Impossible if I drove the 300 miles they are trying to say I did. Kelsey H.The process for returning the equipment was not made clear to me. I understood how to return the truck, but the website said nothing about the dolly or furniture pads. It said to secure the items but there was no way to know how to do that.
Dawn M.The U-Haul trailer we rented ended up having a leak, but we informed the representative about it and she stated she was going to fix it. We didn't find out about it until the next morning, after it stormed all night, when we went to unload the haul into the storage unit. I have used this location two times and each time Dee Love-Barngrover helped me with my rental. She is amazing!
Abbie S.I reserved my truck from 9am-1pm yesterday and was told to call if I needed more time. I needed one extra hour so I called to let them know I would drop it off at 2pm and was told I was being charged an additional $45. My initial charge was $95,42 so an extra $45 for an extra hour is ridiculous. Needless to say the next time I need to rent a truck I'll look elsewhere

For the third time in two weeks (out of 3 rentals), we were unable to complete an after hours return online, which required additional phone time An announced wait of 56" prompted us to request a return call; when it came, we still had to wait for 10" for someone to pick up. We'll try installing the app as suggested to facilitate the return, but it shouldn't be necessary. As to location, with one rare exception, the service here has exceeded expectations. Dee is absolute ON IT when it comes to taking care of customers, and Kevin (I think that's his name) is just lovely as well. There are a number of locations in Fort Wayne; this is our favorite.

Tom S.Would have said above average if it wasn't for the rude disrespectful nasty attitude I got from Dee i'll be completely honest I was supposed to get the 6 x 12 trailer it got canceled because I didn't get there fast enough my fault however she was so rude about it not professional at all definitely would've never use this location again because of her terrible attitude I'll think she should get fired she should not be employed or work with people giving me that excuse that she's been yelled at 15 times plus that day completely unacceptable I would appreciate if she would call and apologize to me because she's not a good person terrible person only reason why I'd be back is because the lady I worked with that I return the trailer with was nice everyone else is really nice at this location except Dee like I said I would still use his location I wouldn't recommend his location I still like the coldwater road because I've never been yelled at at that location I'll be honest I was not looking forward to returning my trailer if Dee was there like I said management should definitely talk today about her attitude have her change it or just fire her if she can't treat customers with respect and be professional she's completely unprofessional and it's obvious with her attitude

I was trying to get a storage unit to move into that day and there were a couple other options that were open on Sunday. I'm on a really tight schedule and lost a critical day due to this error. Staff in store was unable to contact their GM to resolve the situation at the time and stated that GM had limited availability the next day to get a resolution. Thus far I've spent over 30 minutes of my work day on Monday on hold in the hopes of getting this resolved. Seems unlikely, hoping for a refund at this point.

Jamie P. | Expérience généraleI moved out of town approx. 100 mile trip. U Haul helped me to accomplish everything and they were so friendly and explained all the details to me. I purchased from U Haul all my moving supplies needed to pack up my home. They had so much to choose from I did not have to go anywhere else to get one single item. I rented a Truck for a one-way trip that process went much smoother than I thought it would. I was also able to get a dolly and packing cloths to cushion my furniture and glass table tops for a very small fee. Then finally I rented a storage unit in the new city I moved to; it was large enough to hold all my furniture, household items, clothes & boxes. And the 1st month was free of charge!! By now I am exhausted from the move and I originally was supposed to drop off the truck at a different location closer to my new home. However, they allowed me to return it at the U Haul storage location. U Haul made this overwhelming move to a new city smooth, calm and friendly. Mind you I just buried my Mom a few days prior. I received excellent customer service from 3 different locations. With my Mom's death my emotions were on edge not to mention all the work to move to a new city. U Haul is to be commended on how much they helped a single women and I admit I was a emotional mess the entire time. I am so grateful to all the staff and I want U Haul Management to know JOB WELL DONE! A very satisfied customer, Patricia
