The store was so busy when we got there but he handled it so well. We were very impressed! He should be recognized for his workmanship! EDWARD H.I went to pick-up my truck rental and no one showed up for work. The location was supposed to open at 7:00am, however, no employee was there. I had to call the corporate number and again no one could get a hold of the employee. I had movers on a time clock who couldn't work and finally corporate sent me to another location to get a truck. I was told I would get a $50 credit in 3 to 5 business days. I lost time,had to pay extra money for movers and the other location was out of my way. I will never use Uhaul again!

CORNELIUS M.We rented a Ubox and had it shipped from AZ to this Uhaul store in Indianapolis. We had the UBox reserved until 02/27, and did an on site offload at the Eagledale UHaul on Lafayette in Indianapolis and removed all of our belongings from our UBox on Thursday 02/23 (4 days before our rental was due for another months payment should we decide to keep itâ€"which we didn't) and was told by the owner (who was very confused the whole time and did not know what he was doing and said he had no experience with Uboxâ€"-but also kept pressuring us to keep our storage there when we said we were moving to a location closer to our home) that our account/rental was now closed and there was nothing else that needed to be done to return our Ubox. I received an email notice on 2/27 saying I was charged $114,25 for another months rent for the Ubox when should not have been charged at all since we are no longer renting the Ubox. I chatted online with agents who could NOT help close the contract or refund the money and advised me to call the location and speak with the general manager. I tried to call 10+ times every day since then and could not get in touch with the manager. Every time I called, he was not there, or the line just rings off the hook before sending me to the switchboard off site operator who advises me to call the manager. It was a never ending loop. I even called the UBox number and they opened a dispute and said the area manager had been alerted to the issue and they would be required to call me back within 72 hours… never heard back from them for 11 days, and finally escalated things further. I filed a dispute with my bank and received a refund, but when I logged into my online UHaul account, it said I was “past due†on my payment, have a late fee tacked on, and the contract was still aggravatingly open! I called the location again 4 times in a row and was placed on hold, and finally and hung up after 15 minutes on hold. Two days later, I called Ubox customer support again, and they were able to conference call the Uhaul location and get the GM on the phone for the first time ever. He said that the account was closed on his side, and I told him that was not true, because I was logged into my account and saw that it was still active and open contract. He placed me on hold, came back on the line and said that he was on hold with Ubox customer support to have them walk him through closing the contract… and that he would call me back shortly. I never heard back from him. Yesterday, I called Ubox customer service again, and the agent called the location themselves, and had the general manager finally close the contract! This was ridiculous and out of control the amount of hoops I had to jump through just to get my account closed as it should have been. The google reviews for this location are atrocious. This location needs a total re-training or needs to hire different management and staff.

Todd H.This location is full of potential. However, the company's Brand is being tarnished by the lack of professionalism from the young staff. More training needs to be given to them in the acknowledgment of customers (the business at hand) when they enter the office, and not their personal conversations and distractions on cellphones. They appear to be a promising team, but they lack in the area of professionalism, presence, customer acknowledgment, and attentiveness. The unit Housing, maintenance garage, parking lot and grounds are filthy! It used to be very clean and kept. (Which was a key factor in choosing this location). Who cares about this establishment? By appearance, no one and it's sad!!! Because, U-Haul is a trusted brand.and has worked hard to gain that trust. Entrust this location to people that care, that care about the Brand and take pride in their work of service. I don't know if there's been a change in management or not. But clearly something has changed and it doesn't look like it's for the good. The standards have fallen. Wanting you to win! Wanting to continue my loyalty with U-Haul. A Sincere Customer!

I was greeted and I was told one worker was doing the customer intake and the other person was getting the trucks ready and appreciated my patience and understanding. All flowed smoothly and all of us there were taken care of in a timely fashion. Thank you for making this part of my move easy.

And when I made reservations for my U-Haul I was quoted one price and then when I got to the register it was way more than what they quoted me over the phone I think that is false advertisement and I did not like it but luckily there was a nice gentleman there to make changes for me I appreciate it that I wish I knew his name. dana A.I thought this rental was going to go well. Because I did a reservation prior to. A whole week in advance. That meant nothing at all. Upon arriving and giving my name. I thought they look my reservation up. Instead I got asked questions. I had said no to when the reservation was done. I mention this because that wasted my time. Also because had my reservation been taken into account. This rental would have went well. Because it wasn't even look at. It didn't with i didn't appreciate at all. As stated my reservation was done on 2/3/23. For me to pick it up on 2/11/23. Upon arriving as stated I also informed the agent. I did a reservation online. I had also reserved two different dollies. When the reservation was done. A furniture dollie and a utility dollie. The male agent had to go get the dollie. When he came back with one. I asked about the other dollie. I was told we don't have any of those in. That's when I became upset. Since it was put on the reservation. I was picking up moving furniture. The male agent spoke about a different dollie. That was there but the female agent stated no. Because I would have to charge her more for that one. So I was only able to get one dollie. Which wasn't the main one I need. I reserved two to if it would make it easier. To take care of what was needed. So here's what I need an explanation about. Why wasn't my reservation looked at? When I came in gave my name. Instead of my time being wasted like it was. What is the reservation for. If they're not going to use them properly. Second issue there was a whole week. From the time I registered and pick up the items. Why wasn't the items ready before I got there? Do you ever get anything prepared for the customer. Before they get there if not why not? This would save ppl some time. If they got things ready for the customer. Maybe they'd be able to see. They didn't have what was needed. They wasn't there because they gave it out again. I know your in business to make money. The least that a customer deserves. Is a call when you can't fill. The contract you agreed to. When the reservation was done. Why wasn't I notified when a furniture dollie Wasn't available? That made it harder nit having the right size dollie to use. Then for the female agent to say. I'd have to be charged more. To use what you had in. Blew my mind to hear since my reservation. Wasn't looked at nor taken into account. So it seems to me no one cares. Long as they get their paycheck. If another dollie was there I could use. Why couldn't I be accommodated with that one. Without an extra charge. Since the error was in your end. Saying we don't have none in. Leaving it at that wasn't acceptable at all. If that other dollie was more appropriate. For the use to move furniture. Then it shouldn't have been an issue. For me to be accommodated with being able to use it. Without an extra charge on me. Because no one there bothered to look at the reservation. Why isn't the reservations ppl do. Looked at to prevent a waste of time? Can a situation like this be prevented yes. Is there room for improvement yes. Was I helped in anyway I could have been no. Did anyone do anything to try correct the issue no. Why wasn't there an effort to help me more then just words? Had I been informed no dollie was available. I would have went to another location to get one. If I had been called in an acceptable time frame. I could have been better prepared. Having the truck was just part. Of the situation the dollie. Played a big part to seeing it was so needed. For the purpose of me even coming here also. I'd like to know what improvements. If any will be done from this situation. I hope I'm not wasting my time writing this. For it to be treated the same way. My reservation was done. Over all it wasn't a good experience. What took one turned into needing two ppl. Because the dollie had to be replaced. For the furniture to be moved. I really want to know. The answers to my questions. Through out my experience the other day. Please email me the answers I'd really like to hear. A response to this situation this time. As I've wrote in about a worse situation. Where the truck wasn't available. After a reservation had been done. Nothing was done to about that either. So I ask you would you refer this company. To someone after you wasn't accommodated. In an appropriate manner.

The changes in price made it difficult to budget correctly for it, making less and less reasonable to have. Keep your prices consistent and you'll keep tenants.

Marc I.Gas wasn't where the guage read. Almost a 1/4 off. Lady was works there was hateful threatening to report it stolen. I had a med emerg with my daughter and cld not get it bk in time. I'm 65 yrs old and have a great driving record and she wants to report me stealing a cargo van. It also had a low tire too when I picked it up.. lady needs some training in customer service for sure. Every gentleman there did a fantastic job and always friendly there and Lafayette rd! Thank you

I was stuck with boxes for a hour while being on hold and steady getting transferred because the numbers you all listed said they couldn't help ! I ended up going with " extra space storage " next door and they quoted me $20 cheaper anyway ! I'm done with Uhaul ( well at least this location !!)

Diane C. | Expérience généraleThe store manager was extremely rude and refused my service for the Uhaul truck. Simply because I inquired why I was being screened and treated the way I was. Two other people came in for the same thing and were quickly helped. I made a reservation online for the storage unit and upon arrival, the unit was not available. I even called prior to arrival to confirm the reservation. I waited over one hour after arriving to find out what happened. Turns out the manager is not updating the system in a timely manner to reflect availability. During this time, I witnessed the manager(Quincy) chew out an employee (Kim). She actually tried to help. The manager sent me to another storage company that is further away and more expensive. That's over $200 to another company not including the monthly fees at a competitor. He should not be a manager.

Markise F. | Premières impressionsI love the fact that the facility was kept nice and clean and I never had any problems with pest. But the staff were extremely lazy, unprofessional, and ghetto. On days that I went inside to make a payment, they would ask me if I were paying with cash or card. If I were paying with cash the employees would have an attitude with me. Also it's hard to get help around there, everyone wants to stay behind the desk and do absolutely nothing. They NEVER, I mean NEVER ever answer the phone for anything. Oh and I almost forgot to mention some of the employees working there smelled like weed. And when I first opened up a storage unit with them the employees were very childish, a lot of kid like behavior.. just teasing with one another, making jokes, name calling, play hitting. On one occasion a girl was on the phone cursing someone out , she had the entire phone call on speakerphone with no regards to the customers inside standing in line waiting to be helped. All I can say at this point is it has gotten a little better since they hired a new crew, but even new crew is unprofessional at times. I'm just so glad that I'm out of there, I hardly got the help when I needed it the most. Never ever will rent from this location again.

Crystal b. | Online Move InGreetings. The building was not properly marked. I was told to go to Building B but I saw no indications of that. I had to ask others to direct me there. Once at my unit, there was no lock on the door as indicated. When we lifted up the shaft, the alarm went off as if we had stolen something or didn't belong there. That was a fright especially because we paid already. We closed the gate immediately. The office gave us a lock and we returned and put it on but the alarm went off again when we lifted the gate. I tore up my car trying to drive to Bldg B because there was a traffic boulder in the middle of the parking lot which I didn't see. Wow, that ruined my day. They must be popular already because the unit size I needed was not available. Actually, when I went online to change unit size, no units were available. I did like the cleanliness of the place. I liked the visual of the storage units in the main office to allow one to assess what size unit they need. I liked the trolleys that can be used to carry your stuff to your storage unit and I like the location of the storage facility. The facility was well lit and I did feel like my belongings would be safe there. The alarm going off without a reason and the boulder accident gave me a bad omen that this place was not for me.

However, through live chat we were able to obtain the code we needed quickly.
