I was greeted promptly this morning and my reservation was ready! A little issue with the photos of me and my license with computer but she took care of it and we were on our way All the staff very friendly
STEPHEN FMy only issue was requesting and paying for a dolly since I knew I was doing this by myself. There was no dolly so I need a refund. Also the passenger door of the truck I was given is malfunctioning.. had to fight to keep it closed.

RACHEL KThe amount of money I ended up paying was just ridiculous. I rented a two wheel dolly for one day and ended up returning it to a different location, which was not what I was supposed to do. Like, I paid the initial $45, plus some insurance, plus some tax, which somehow came out to something well over $100- somehow I thought it was less than that. The numbers on the papers I signed sure didn't have that figure anywhere. My receipt specifically says "Total charges: $56,66". But then the weather turned cold, it started snowing, and I decided to return the trailer to a closer location. So now I have paid something like $260 to rent this trailer for less than 24 hours. This sort of thing is becoming so common, for corporations to just abuse customers with no recourse. I will just never EVER be a customer for Uhaul again.

Todd PJohn, the Manager, exemplifies the best in managerial efficiency and professionalism combined with empathy and best-in-class customer interaction. Darla in Traffic also greatly helped settle a complex and difficult manner with her understanding, patience, excellent communication, and superior handling of the customer experience. Finally, Shannon was super helpful and friendly and is an asset to the team.

Casey ODamon went out of his way to help us. My Mom has suffered a devastating head injury, so his extra help saved the day and prevented any further issues for my Mom. Super grateful to Damon for saving the day.
Lisaclaire SI have rented from this location before and had no problem. This time, the lone guy at the desk was swamped and didn't tell me I should take a picture of the mileage and gas level before I left the location. When I returned the truck nobody said anything to me, I just left the keys. Later that day, I checked my bank account and saw that I was charged an extra $61 dollars. I called and asked why and the person on the national line said that I hadn't returned the truck with the amount of fuel that I had left the location with. Of course with no picture I couldn't prove that I HAD refueled the truck to where it was when I first left the location. I filed a complaint and they said they would forward it to the local manager. I didn't expect much to happen and to be out the $61 dollars. Lo and behold, I was later refunded the $61 dollars with no questions asked. I will certainly rent from this location again BUT will ask more questions and make sure to take pictures of the mileage and fuel level before I leave. Merci.
JAMES S1-Some customers deliver the car without filling it with gas. 2-When I got the car it had very little fuel, and if I went any further I would run out of fuel. (Mr NAHSHAL)
MOHAMMED AI showed up to your Lafayette Road location approximately 6:45 pm before closing and just about everyone that was in the store. We're on their cell phones. I needed help getting the truck in storage. They gave me a storage and she took me to the storage building to check it out and it was occupied She looked storage for me and the second one was occupied when the system said it was available At that time it was closing everyone started to leave and they cut the lights out and the building They were still trying to find storage Majority everybody in the store have already left and I was in the building with no lights. I told him I needed to move on and hurry to leave so they forgot my dolly. I had to move without taking my appliances in the house Yeah, I lost my appliances because I cannot return back in the house after I moved and the store was closed to go back and get a dolly I was not happy with the service twice. They said storage locations were available, and the system was wrong. They forgot my dolly, and everybody was in a hurry to leave. Took the truck back and they trying to take money out of my account and I don't understand why I paid 94 deposit and the lady called me asking me when was gonna bring my truck back and I said I need it for another day and I already paid it deposit. She didn't even check to see that I did that and she said oh I'm sorry. After I brought my truck back there still trying to take money out of my account and I don't know why I checked the email and I looked it up for the receipt, but there is no explanation on why they trying to take $77 out of my account I was not happy and I'm not going back there again I'm gonna leave my stuff in the storage for now, but pretty soon. I'm gonna have to pull it out and go somewhere else. this was my second online review and nobody has gotten back with me yet

Hertder OI came 15 minutes before closing and almost everyone was on their cellphones. I needed a truck and a storage. They looked for storage that said it was available but they was not. People wanted to go home I was in the building and the lights was off. I asked for a dolly for the truck and didn't get it. I felt rushed and only 2 people stayed with me. I couldn't get my dolly and I had to leave my appliances. I don't know if I want to go back

JOHN WI was always accustomed to the manager whenever I was there. Staff was always sitting around on their phones instead of helping customers. Customer service is a vital part of a business and it just wasn't evident at that location.

MICHAEL HOnly because the staff is nice....the trucks needs to be inspected before giving keys to customers regarding correct gas measures and cleanliness of the inside and the beds of the trucks. Last 2 rentals were dirty and things left from previous customers.

CRYSTAL HReservation was not ready. Was suggested I take a larger truck and pay more when I should have been offered a larger truck at no extra cost. Also there was a very long wait time to be seen. A bit chaotic and VERY unorganized.

TIFFANY DEverything I had stored in my unit was infested with bugs and I had to throw everything away. Told the manager he was suppose to give me some type of refund but it never happened as of yeaht. Highly disappointed

JENNY LThe car hauler trailer had a ripped tie down strap, it was too short to wrap around wheel and reach the crank down, these are supposed to be inspected, it clearly wasn't, should be breach of contract on your part.
MICHAEL TI didn't get my receipt until I called. Both Sam and the man on the phone (didn't catch his name) were very helpful though.

PIERRE CMy storage reservation was switched from 10x10 to 5x10 When I picked up my trailer rental, I was checked into the unit as moved in without being notified it was switched When I realized and tried to fix on the app, I called support for help. The first lady I talked to said she would cancel it and make a new reservation. It was the "last available" and I could check in online. When I went to do that it said online check in not available. I called back to and got another lady. She said it couldn't be canceled since I was "moved in" to the unit. And only the location could undo it. Then she made me another reservation for the "last available" unit, different from the first, and then it still wasn't available for check in. So I had to go to a different location for an available unit. When I check in to that one, I had to pay for the full month and didn't get the promotion. I tried to call the location the next day to explain the situation and cancel the 5x10 and every time I called I was put on hold for 5-15m before hanging up.
SAMANTHA CBecause I went to do a reservation in the next day when I pick it up the truck somebody was already renting and him a different truck and I don't have to have when I steal you guys owe me some money for that one. I don't know how long you guys take it to deposit the money back

Gina FAlthough the truck was physically clean, the truck ran like crap! The brakes were bad. When I would have to brake the transmission would Rev up making it hard to stop! My neighbors were laughing and saying _D, that truck sounds like a piece of S_it. Very embarrassing. The gear shift would stick when trying to come out of reverse. I was afraid the whole time I drove the truck/van. Please address these issues before someone gets hurt.

AUDRA MI received the truck with the low tire pressure indicator on and the check engine light on. I had to refill the tire every other day.
Pennie BI arrived to find that the location did not have the van I had reserved 3 days prior. It then took a full hour to get a 10ft box truck. Mainly because the employee at the desk kept taking video calls from friends.
SCOTT CRented a trailer from this location. Was treated rudely, was not offered help to hook up the trailer, was not assisted when returning the trailer, and no one wanted to visually confirm the trailer was returned. I had to call customer service to confirm return as employee there did not process the return in the system for a while after I physical returned it. Overall the worse U-Haul experience I have had in years. Staff is not trained to be customer facing and needs to be completely changed.
MOHAMMED AIt first started rocky when I first came in and the location didn't have the truck that I reserved. Then, we just kept arguing and trying to find a solution but it was when someone drove a truck in that I needed, then things were better. I had some "U-Haul" movers I ordered on the app called me that were already there at the location. I met them about ten minutes late. Otherwise, great move. I would absolutely recommend the movers.

I was extremely displeased to find out when closing out the unit that the GM did not allow for a pro-rated refund of unused days already paid for. My June payment was made on 6/8 and I closed the unit on 6/19 - U-Haul has now kept almost 3 weeks of my payment. That is not good business and would give me pause before recommending this particular site .

PETER M | Expérience généraleThe staff really tried, but there wasn't anything they could do when they were unable to provide me with a 10 x 10 x 10 storage unit which I had reserved and I had a reservation for. Ultimately I was offered two 5 x 5 switch on surface seemed to be a good solution, but I don't know why they would recommend that when I told them I had a full 15 foot box truck that I needed to store. Ultimately I was able to find a unit and reserve it at another U-Haul facility, but the debacle with the reservation took more than 90 minutes to resolve and then another 30 for me to travel to a new facility and rebook a storage all in all it was an excess of two hours while I had movers on the clock. Very frustrating. As I said, the staff really did try but clearly they were overwhelmed by the number of customers in the store under trained on how to use the system and ultimately provided me with no instruction about how to use the keypad to enter the facility while we were in there, the alarms went off because we didn't swipe to get in. We had not been instructed about how to use the key cards or what they were for. We were also directed to a third-floor storage unit and we were never able to find a building that had a third-floor. Again I'll lot of trouble in the rain while I was paying a moving crew because your inventory didn't match with the online reservation system, apparently.

This staff legitimately helped save my life from Domestic Violence and I will be forever grateful. Special thanks to manager Mr. Ron and the young men on his team at this specific location (2960 Lafayette Rd.) from the month of November-December. They've all made the transition so much more easier for me through it all than it would have originally been. They're amazing and will really do their best to work with you. I would recommend this location to anyone, every time and every chance I get. Many thanks and happy holidays!

ODESSA M | Expérience généraleOn the day I needed to be moved out, I needed my lock cut off since I didn't have my key. The man at the front desk states it would be a charge and they couldn't do it that day and I'll have to go get the key to avoid the fifty dollar charge that the uhaul people would have charged me to for them to cut it off. The moving man that was helping me said he could cut it off for me instead. After the move the people at the front desk said they needed the lock, but its my lock that I bought. Still gave them the lock, the people at the front desk claim we can be prosecuted for cutting off my lock that I bought. Then the next day, they called and told me I have to pay a fifty dollar fee for cutting the lock. I later learned from the uhaul customer service representative for uhaul after talking to them, that the employees at uhaul aren' t allowed to cut off the lock. The employees here are not professional at all, I needed to use the bathroom one day and came into to ask for a code since that's what one of the employees told me I needed to get untruth bathroom. I go in and ask for the code for the bathroom, he made some unprofessional joke and all I wanted to go into the bathroom. Him and another employee starts laughing. And then finally say I can use the rest room.

Reagan M | Expérience généraleWhen I came to clean my storage out they couldn't find the keys that was very upsetting because I was on other people's time it was on a Saturday it eventually solved itself but I was very unhappy at that time about it but everything worked itself out after 1 hour and 45 minutes if you get in trouble with your storage and they cut your locks off they will Pat it with theirs and they will not make it convenient for you to get your stuff out once your bill is caught up they need to do better!!
