24/7 truck service didn't work for me despite checking in online ahead of time and inputting all information…..so I waited 40 minutes to get someone on the phone to help. Additionally, the staff arrived at 9am for opening and saw us confused/looking all around for the key box, the truck, etc. No one offered to help…. No one greeted us…. Etc. the truck looked like an entire “X” to us with tremendous damage everywhere and the actual inside smelled strongly of smoke.

This location are thieves got a call yesterday for a bill of 130. Asked them multiple times to break down the charges. Kept saying the sAmethjngs that did not add up. Eventually an invoice was sent I was charged for multiple things that was incorrect. I then had two different males yelling at me about the charges and “how you gon pay”. I got the uhual at a 1/4th of a tank, I returned it at over a 1/4th of a tank. How am I being charged 30$ to put gas back in it but there was more gas in the truck than what I got it with? The truck ran like crap. I will NEVER use your company again.

Trucks steering was very loose. I requested an appliance dolly but instead received a traditional dolly.

Inside the cab was clean but the box smelled like gas from lawn mower and also cut grass was in the back of the truck.

The new reservation system sucks. There were trucks there all day and we had to wait until evening to move. Go back to original set up

I ordered my truck a few weeks ago for our move and the location was changed a few days before. I was told that everything would stay the same and I even got a confirmation text that the time remained the same with 24/7 pickup. But when I got there at 7am to pickup, the app said the pickup time changed to 9:15am so my whole move was delayed because of that. I was not notified if this change. Customer service was unable to do anything about it except delay the drop off time and I was not even given the option of any reimbursement.

Only had one poor girl working she did her best . Didn't have the equipment I ordered. Had a “hold” on my account so I waited 37 minutes to speak to a rep and another 15 minutes for another rep to find another location with the equipment I ordered.

The truck was in terrible need of maintenance, the drive was very stressful I was scared it was going to quit and the rearview side mirror was shattered making it useless.

Van I was given had a broken mirror, the equipment I ordered for it online was not in the van and had to ask the worker multiple times for a dolly because he kept on forgetting to get it

I've rented many U Haul trucks over the years- this location is very well organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Don't change reservations to 3 different locations. I had to drive way out of my way to get a truck that I originally scheduled to pick up 5 miles down the road. Very inconvenient. I've rented 4 trucks from you in the last 4 months and this was very disappointing.

My reservation to pick up the truck at 7am. No one was there to open the store until 9am. The keys were in the store so I couldn't even do the self rental. Not a good experience.

One of the tires was very bad. Low and looked like it had a small cut in it.

The reason I said “No” on equipment maintenance was because the windshield visors did not work. I drove east into the sun and could have used functional visors. Otherwise things went famously.

Person was very helpful during the process of getting the truck. The truck size I ordered was not available due to a mechanical issue but they were able to provide me the next larger size truck. Very friendly customer service.

Billing was incorrect. I was charged for a dolly I didn't use or ask for. I told them twice but was still charged at the end. Also took about a week after the rental to see the final bill.

Clerk was new & kept giggling at her ineptitude; I repeatedly had to ask questions & for someone to help me. Took over 45 min to pick up trailer I had reserved day before.

I had a very hard time when I went to pick up my truck or Van just trying to get the information on my cell phone it took me an hour I didn't get to leave until 715 and it was a 6 o'clock pick up. When I came to drop off I couldn't get back into the system so I had to drop it off without signing off and I dropped it off at 5:30 AM and they said 11 o'clock that's not true thank you and I did talk to a young lady about 7 o'clock about the issues that I was having with the system when they open up on Lafayette Road thank you I'm sorry I made about 730 . Thanks

We showed up for our scheduled rental at 7AM and no one was at the store. There were other employees waiting outside the store as well. The store was finally unlocked around 7:40AM. The experience from there was okay, but no apologies or anything was given as to why it was so late. There are other reviews for this location stating our experience was not the first time it has happened.

Just wish you had 24 hour access instead of a limited time. Also the key card never worked so the alarm would always sound when I would open the door.

I wish I knew the names of all the 4 people that work at this facility, because I would love to give them honorable mention. Each time I went in from rental to clean out day, the employees I dealt with were so very kind, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about everything from products to installation to discounts. Kudos to the management and the ones who raised them with a sense of integrity, respect, and customer service.

Everything from beginning to end was great. The only issue we ran into was not getting an access code when we rented the unit, which was our own fault. However, through live chat we were able to obtain the code we needed quickly. The staff and management at the Eagledale location were very helpful and had excellent customer service skills that you don't see often anymore.

The woman in charge was rude unreasonable and if she wasn't there …..maybe you would get better reviews. I wanted a smaller storage and she said there weren't any available. She gave me a larger one and said I'd get it at the smaller price. Billing time came around I was charged for the larger one!! Unacceptable!!!! I will continue referring people to other storage sites.

When I was moving out I went to the office and I told them that I am moving out and they asked me to go get a picture I told them that you guys can go and check that is super clean and the lady was yelling at me To go get the picture and show them, she is really rude. Will never go there again until she is there.

Overall the storage unit facility was clean. The previous occupant of my storage unit left some things behind and I had to move it out. I saw some pests on my way to my storage unit as well. Also I wish the storage facility was designed better some units in the temp controlled building are further away from the elevator but that's understandable. The carts really helped us out. More flat bed carts would have been ideal.

Trying to terminate the unit was so inconvenient and I kept getting billed after I expressed that I no longer wanted the unit; different levels of employees tell you different information about terminating the unit and leaving "notes" to different mangers was very ineffective. Employees are polite and want to help but unfortunately the solutions are not effective.

When I first moved into my storage unit it was great. After a few months someone with roaches moved in and all of my belongings became infested which is why I stopped paying. Not only that but there were mice and mice droppings inside the storage unit as well as my belongings.

I have complained about pest issues since after moving into the storage facility. I seen roaches and foreign looking bugs walking through while loading furniture into my unit. I informed Uhaul about these findings on day one and my concern, but I was told to purchase insurance. I purchased insurance and sadly within my unit find roaches, big and small ones, around and near my furniture. Of course, there is no way I am taking this furniture to my new house now. I call the insurance to get this replaced and they say roaches are not covered under Pest; however, they would call uhaul to see what can be done. No follow-up or anything, but something must of been communicated because not only are people working at uhaul cleaning the storage facility, but now they had "inspectors" come overview and ask random people what they thought about the uhaul. I could be entirely wrong about my assumption, but it would have been nice to see this care, look, and pride for the facility as a normal maintenance. Overall, I took matters into my own hands and came to the conclusion that storage facilities are a waste unless you have items you don't care to loose. It is sad that you pay a decent amount of money to store away furniture only to know that you will have to most likely dispose of it in some matter due to neighbors and or the facility upkeep. I rather not put that trust in anyone's hands again.

Everything was great till I tried to close my account. And because I closed my account 2 days after you took my payment. I didn't get a refund or a partial credit for the month. you guys took all of my money for the entire month even though I was only there for two days. That is unacceptable to me and for that reason alone I will not recommend you. I have put in a customer complaint to see if I can get a partial credit back. But I spoken to two Representatives on the phone and it doesn't look like that's going to happen. And the gentleman that closed my account although was friendly he could care less whether or not I got any of my money back. And basically told me there was nothing he could do for me my account was closed have a nice day. Not cool..

Though I see maintenance and pest control is something that is noted in the facility, I know my furniture would not be able to stay there long as roaches were climbing off of my rented storage door and walking with me while I was moving my thing into the storage space. Otherwise, customer service was nice. But like any storage facility whether climate controlled or outside, does not seems like a good option to keep/store your belongings.
