Andrew V.10" box truck what a lot of miles and had seen a lot of rough treatment with minimal to no maintenance. Drivers sun visor was torn off, drivers seat cushion listing to the door side badly, door mirrors on drive side frozen in place, ignition switch would not allow key to turn to on position, drivers window crank missing nob. Many signs of little or no maintenance between rentals. .

If someone comes through the door, the rep should ask "Picking Up? or Dropping Off?" and service them before the indecisive customer.

Picking up and dropping off we're VERY unorganized. The facility we dropped the vehicle off at was very dirty and if customers have to come in, that would be a concern of mine if I were in a leadership role at Uhaul. I hope you can use this feedback to make positive, impactful changes. The young man at the storage unit was very helpful. The staff at the drop off center were helpful as well but they should have a better facility to work from. I am sure they are doing the best they can. Merci

I had the rental 2 days more than I expected witch equaled $40 , she didntevencall meto ask me can she run my card she ran it without my consent then called me to say my card declined and if I don't pay she is going to report it stolen with a disgusting attitude!!! So I called customer service and asked them what was the correct balance and they told me $60,51 if I needed it an extra day more. I told her how the woman in the office came off on meand she said that wasn't right so I got off the phone with the rep and called the office again and I told the lady the balance was $60,51 and this chic ran my card for $100 and didn't even tell me she did that !! I checked my account and that how I found out and I called her back to ask her why the hell she run my card for $100 when the balance is $60,15 she s me she doest determine the balance the computer does!! Then she said the customer service don't know what she talking about as far as my balance This place is trash because they got trash working there ( FIRE THE HEAVY SET LIGHT SKIN CHIC BECAUSE SHE ALSO DIDNT GREET ME AS I WALKED IN ) THE WORST UHAUL EVER STAY AWAY

Jennifer C.I only put 5 miles on the vehicle and they charged me for 4 gallons of gas 20 dollars. And when I called the location. The girl working there told that your vehicles use a tremendous amount of gas because there big trucks. I don't see how any truck gets only 1 mile per gallon. She was rude and said that no way would give me back my money. I am very dissatisfied. I hope you can fix this situation.

JAMES D.I arrived one hour early asking if I could take at 9 am instead of 10 am. I was charged for two days for penalties of changing the time. The person behind desk said it was because the truck was reserved the same day in the afternoon. This did not make any sense as I was taking originally at 10 am and returning within 3-4 hours. Wow, could she even hear what she said ? What a scam to do this with a customers. This woman at the front desk was so unprofessional, rude on so many levels with poor customer service skills talking to her boyfriend on phone while myself and customers waiting. I hope a manager calls me. I would like a refund for for the unnecessary extra day charge. By the way , the truck was returned in 3 hours

After I made the reservation, I was contacted and told that I could not rent a van at that location, and would have to use another location about 10 miles away. 10 miles back and forth isn't too much at $0,79/mile, but was discouraging that your site allowed me to book the reservation at one location and then required me to go to another to pick up the van.

Was sent to location off of North Pleasantburg. Rental truck was block in so we could not get it out. Had to go back to Roper Mountain location and wait till 9:00am. Completely unsatisfied with U haul. Call the number on the rental and the Customer Service rep was very helpful but limited in what she could do.

JOSEPH P. | Expérience généraleI rented only a dozen furniture pads for 24 hours. The employee on duty on Saturday allowed as I could keep them until Monday if needed and not be charged $10 more. I forgot to return them Monday - Unused I might add - and got there Tuesday morning. I expected I would have to pay for another 24 hours for a total of $20. The owner of the store was present when I turned them in and she charged for all three 24-hour periods - $30. When I questioned her about what the weekend person had said, she said well her name was on the sign and he had no authority to tell me that. I'm sorry, but within reason, you need to solve your personnel issues and honor what they told the customer. You just might want to own what your employee said and honor it for the sake of customer satisfaction!

RAGE A. | Expérience généraleI really liked the management team and location of the property. However, the truck I used had an issue with low tire pressure before I started my trip. I notified management and they filled the tire pressure to the recommended levels. The tire pressure warning light remained on during the entire trip and I frequently found myself pulling over to check the tire pressure to make sure I was able to drive the truck safely. It definitely made me nervous and I did not feel safe during the process. I would recommend this truck be serviced to fix this issue. Otherwise, everything else was perfectly fine.

She went out of her way to locate a closer drop off point for the trailer after I dropped off load at her storage facility. She explained everything and made my move that much easier after a 12 hr trip. Cressily was also helpful once I got storage space and explained how to use card etc.
JOSEPH P. | Premières impressionsI ordered a truck two weeks in advance and had ordered furniture dollys and a hand truck with it. These were necessary for my move because while I did not have a lot of items they were very heavy. When I went to pick up the truck the morning of, I was told that it wasn't possible for me to get them. If that was the case why wouldn't I be contacted earlier. I would have canceled my reservation but you forced my hand and I had to drive to Home Depot to rent a hand truck and furniture dollys that were 3-4x the price of what I expected to pay. Honestly it was unacceptable and I do not plan on using U-Haul in the future

They were not and the office there was unable to fix it. I don't appreciate the bad promise or the extra fees.

FREDERIC M.Trying to make a reservation from my mobile device was not really user-friendly. I tried to reserve a cargo van and the Wade Hampton Blvd location but it told me unavailable. When I talked to the representative at the location on Roper Mtn. did he said Wade Hampton Blvd. location has a lot more cargo vans than they have. I told him that when I made the reservation it said there were none available. The cost for insurance is super. $10 for peace of mind is a deal. When you rent a car it's $45 per day. Thanks for a good experience. I will definitely rent from you again when I'm moving.
LAVERNE H.This location was great. Although Uhaul changed my drop off location to one that was 25 miles from the location I chose. Had to spend 20 minutes on the phone to get them to change it back to the one I originally chose.

Julius H.I had to return the truck with more gas then what I received it. The gas tank was at a half when I got the truck but I had to run the truck to almost full when I returned it and I only drove the truck for about 10 miles.

Apparently you can get scheduled by centralized service, come to the location and they don't have what you need because the manager has not trained employees how to update storage units and U-Haul trucks for customers. Too bad they have them available but as a customer I can't get in until it's submitted in the system. Very poor experiences and causing extra delays in time in finances when hiring labor to move/unpack.
