We made a reservation for a 10' uhaul during business hours, to be picked up via mobile after business hours. When we arrived at the facility, our truck had not been reserved, and the app was not able to give us this information. It took 30 minutes to get a new reservation (the attendant on the phone was extremely helpful!).

The location is extremely dark for after hours pick up. The truck did not run properly, engine and transmission issues. When I chatted with the after hours l service they could not help me. When I returned, the gentleman at the counter did say he was removing from fleet for repairs.

I picked up the vehicle around 12 noon on Thursday…dropped the truck off in Harrisburg about 7 pm Friday night but still had to pay 3 day rental fee. Why is that?

I can't rave enough about how nice and well-prepared the staff at this facility was. I last trailered from them three years ago in a different vehicle. They gave me excellent advice and made a last-minute reservation which made the whole trip easier.

This is my first experience with EP Uhaul that wasn't excellent. The trailer I was given was harder to use than normal, because it was so old and creaky. Opening the door was a chore and I needed help with it by the end of the day. When I returned it, I saw the same group of new trailers sitting where they had been that morning. When I asked about it, I was told that the new trailers are generally saved for out of state trips. I did go out of state, but since nobody asked, that didn't help me get a decent trailer. I've always used EP Uhaul because of the service. If this happens again, I will likely look elsewhere.

Tammy was gracious and humorous while we were there. She was efficient and helpful even though she had to go through a surprising amount of paperwork to get us one the road and with a computer system that was clearly archaic. It could clearly use updating rather than submit the help to a good deal of frustration.

Better inspection of the vehicles. The stabilitrack and traction control warning lights went on 15 miles into our trip and remained on for the next 350 miles. Very stressful. I couldn't see my miles count because of that warning.

The facility had promised to store my keys in it safe, as a document it in an email. The reason for this was that I was not present when my things were stored. Rather, movers moved my things into storage because I was out of town. The facility lost my keys, and I had to pay $100 for a locksmith to come while my movers waited to open the lock.

I had spoken to someone twice that I could not afford to pay for the unit any longer and my information was ignored and now over one year after clearing out my unit and not paying. I am still receiving a bill for thousands of dollars and continuously harassed by one of the managers after I explained my situation. If I have a financial hardship and can't pay. How do you think that is suddenly going to change. And after I had already emptied out the unit and left my keys with your associates. They screwed up and I get blamed for it. It's bad enough that when you come into the office you can't get anyone to acknowledge your presence, nevermind help you. Your business is good but individual people are so incompetent and customers should not have to suffer for their lack of professionalism. Please do better.

So. First I go there and it takes over 15 minutes to get a checked in (there's only one guy ahead of me). That's not that big of deal, and then everything went down hill from there. I was expecting a bigger storage unit and I expressed that as I saw what I received. Didn't really try ans help me find a bigger one. And THEN the doors wouldn't open. The WHOLE time I was unloading my Uhaul full of stuff. The employee never came back to check on me and was like "idk I guess they're broken"?? Like what?? How unsafe also it took so long to take all my stuff out since I had to wedge the emergency door open! Super unsafe and I highly do NOT recommend

I want to give a huge shout out to Moragn Amador at this location. She was spectacular when assisting us with the move in and day prior to moving out. Very attentive to my needs and did not suffocate me with loads of products/services that would've costs lots of money. I had a bit of a weird experience with the issue in using the dumpsters at the property. I used the night I moved out and was charged $40 for it. At no point did someone from the company state that the dumpsters were off limits to renters. Mind you, someone came up to us at the trash and even wished us a good night. If that was the case, why weren't we addressed then? We would've immediately went elsewhere had we known prior to emptying out the unit and throwing them there, we would've went elsewhere.

Disappointed how long it took for my move out request to get processed especially because I got charged late fees and got sent an email saying I was late on my payment despite moving out and sending out request before rent date.

Very nice helpful staff (met at least 5 members all great), clean new storage unit, contents same condition as when we put them in after one year, no signs of pests, would recommend. We had a small unit in same building as office.

There was an issue with the electronic entrance to my unit for the first 2 months of our experience, which meant I could not access the unit after 7pm, which did not adhere to the posted schedule I had signed up for. I brought it to the attention of management and they said they were working on fixing it & apologized for the inconvenience. But upon asking for some sort of bill reduction, I was told they'd have to ask the facility head. Ivory ever got back to me & I was given the runaround a few times. That's not right. Not giving me access at times outside my personal work hours really resulted in a terrible experience. Additionally, I showed up 10 minutes before the office closed one night & asked the staff member in duty if he could help me get into my unit as my card wasn't working. He said he couldn't because he was closing up. Again, awful customer service & completely inappropriate foe the staff member to value their closing over a customers needs while they were still open. While the door issue was eventually fixed, it was too little too late. We've since moved to another facility in the area & are having a much better experience. Unfortunately, I don't see myself ever using UHaul again.

The staff at the East Providence, RI location are excellent, providing excellent customer service. Dawn went above and beyond to help me when I arrived it was noted that the call and reservation center did not send my storage rental information to them so they could get my ubox out of storage so I could have it transferred to a storage unit. They also gave me wrong information about what a split level unit is; luckily once again Dawn at the site location saved me from climbing stairs to get to a unit. Very unprofessional of UHAUL Call Center! If not for Dawn who went out of her way to get my ubox out from being buried among other uboxes, I would have been out $200 for the movers I had arranged. Thank you Dawn!!! As for the UHAUL Call & Reservation Center HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The storage facility at East Providence is clean but two things I didn't like: 1. street level storage units have very low ceilings, smell damp and there is no lights so the units are dark. 2. there is no elevator for above street level storage or split levels which is ridiculous!! don't know about lighting because I didn't look at those units.

The lights in our hallway where our storage were off. Was told to walk all the way down for them to turn on. Didn't happen and had to pack most of it in the dark. Every other hallway had lights but ours. Rang the assistance buzzer multiple times and no kne answered or came.

I was told that automatic billing was set up at the time of rental start and when it came time for the second months rent we found out that it wasn't set up correctly and we had to pay a late charge

Vehicle was fine, but storage was disaster. 401-286-3267 cell. got there after hours. lock on unit. manager did come to unlock but was wrong size unit. now i have to pay for bigger unit than i want.

Our storage unit was indoors on a second floor. It was well-maintained, clean and never felt like our belongings were in jeopardy of damage or getting stolen. Very nice facility.

I was surprised by the size of the unit. The website states it can fit three bedrooms. I believe this is true if you have small furniture. I had to purchase two units to fit a two room apartment.
