Make sure the tires actually have tread on them. The tires we were sent on were extremely unsafe. The gas tank was only 1/4 full but they marked it was 3/4 full so we had to make up that difference before we returned the truck.Blake D.

Great staff! Friendly and helpful. As with many places right now, could use more staff so don't be in hurry, you may need to wait. Regardless of the wait, the staff was amazing and when it was your turn, they gave you all the attention needed. The facility was super easy to get in and out of. If I could give my experience negative 5 stars I would!!!! I went ahead and (tried ) to take advantage of the free storage unit your app enticed me in doing when I rented the truck and I ended up having to get the truck g or another day because it said incould doneverything online and be to check in at the unit by 10pm Got there at 730pm. Couldnt use the app. Rang the buzzer the man who ansswered told me to call the 800 number at uhaul.com. was yikd it would.be 30 to 45 min. Wait on hold. Waited gor an hour finally hung up. Went duting office hours the next day, the agent checked us in ( took over an hour) even tho I had spent about that much time trying to navigate the u your web site to complete the rental only to find out that the while unit thing was a total waste of over 2 hours.of my life that could of been put to use doing something great! Instead I was left with extra milage (20 or more at 89 cents a mile, an extra days truck rental as I could get into my init to empty the truck so I could return it! And A LOT OF STRESS! the unit still set empty as I had to return the truck by noon today and was unable to access my unit and the agent that was there was unwilling to answer the nick at the door or the buzzer on the wall. I have a video of him sitting at the desk staring at is knocking on the door 5 min. After GE said we were all set. We were not all set because we went to the door put in our access code ( he said he was out of access cards) and it said our unit was disarmed but the slifing doors would not open to let us in.! IT WILL BE A VERY DESPERATE SITUATION BEFORE I WOULD USE UHAUL FOR ANY REASON. FOR A LONG TIME! P.S DONT HAVE THE RESERVATION NUMBER but the storage units location is 2526 Hubble Ave. And I have video of everything I am telling you (tie.. him sitting at the desk and ignoring our numerous call for helpCharles r. | Premières impressions

The process was just strange. I had to explain exactly what I needed several times, even though it was all on my reservation. Then he forgot my furniture pads and I didn't realize it until I got home. The hookup was easy, but the process should have been easier.Sarah M.
I reserved a 20' truck but due to me running late even though there were 3 20' trucks I was given 15' so it took 3 loads way more miles time gas ...so you guys screwed me for 260 bucks when if given the truck I reserved online...well it all would have been way different. So I guess the next move I'm going to have to look into Penske...which is a shame I always had good experiences three usual. But this one really screwed me over...Christina G.

I tried to call to extend my rental time by an hour, nobody would pick up the phone and I was directed to the website. I was unable to locate where on the website to extend the rental, so when I brought the truck back on the same day, but a little later than originally anticipated, I was charged double for the truck as well as the insurance. After-hours return of trailer was a huge hassle. Web link wouldn't work. Customer Service said the wrong driver's license was connected to our rental. We took lots of pictures & left the trailer in the parking lot. It was impossible to return online.Gene A.

An indicator light was on yet there was no place to explain or document this on the return. It would be helpful to have a location marked in the lot so online return customers know where to park. It's difficult to skip the line for a key when only one clerk is there.Heather B.

The self check in process took nearly an hour, which was a significant chunk taken from my 6hr rental window. It shouldn't take that long. In addition, we couldn't skip the line to get the keys as instructed, and we still needed staff assistance. Self check-in not worth it. The truck was clean, but the can stunk badly of cigarettes which I am allergic to. And we had to find staff to self-return the truck because the designated area was blocked by rentals. We understand staff shortages and high customer demand. But, we really expected a 15min pick up, 5min drop off, and def didn't expect allergy attacks from cigarettes.Jessica H.

Then when we return, had to wait in a 10 person line to give them the keys as only one person was working until 20 min later another employee showed up. The company over charged me and I brought it up to their attention and instead of crediting they charged me an additional 40 the next day. A 29,95 charge for 2 hours of rental has now racked up to 160.00. I continue to call and complain and will call again this morning.Diane P.

Horrible experience, kept changing the dates and times for return. It was dirty and scratched up. Check engine came on and ended up losing the power stirring. Had to have it towed. Unpleasant experience and no help from your company. Check in was not working and therefore charge me another day and we added the amount of gad it said to to fill back to where it was and ended up putting more gas in there then what it needed to be and they charged me additional miles when we didn't go extra miles and was told truck would pull what we needed to without a problem and even checked with a higher up and he said yes but truck did not pull what we needed to at all and had to have someone come get us and what we were pulling Therefore was a waste of money and time.Richard C.

Good experience, especially with the free month storage when renting truck. Really appreciate that. However, bathroom was dirty, used paper towels on floor, no trash bins in bathroom or indoor offloading area. Could have used one or two more carts. Everything was fine until I moved out of my unit. I made a payment and it took 2 days for the lock to get taken off of my unit and then the day my payment was due for my next payment there was a lock back on my unit and then I was given until the time the office closed to move out of my unit that I again had to wait for someone to come take the lock off again when I was in my unit just previously that same day. Over all things are good. How ever there needs to be more help on staff. Having customers wait 20 to 30 plus minutes in line is not good. The location I went to,had only 2 men doing everything . They where working very hard, but they definitely need extra help to make things go smoothly for them and the customers. Once I was attended to, the service was great and they where friendly. The space is great and security is great. Largest complaint is it was under staffed both times and staff seemed as if they didn't care if they got to you in a timely manner. I had to wait in line for an hour (2nd in line) while other staff members were outside and walking around. On second trip over I saw cockroaches running around, and on my final pick up I saw mouse droppings all over the place. I sprayed cockroach killer each visit and did see mouse traps the last time in the units that the doors were opened, but I will never leave my stuff here again for fear of what I will bring back to my house. I had my stuff here for 4 months and after 2 months the rate went up by $40 a month (about 50 %) and no one ever told me that was going to happen, and since I have auto pay, it blindsided me, I was told that was the new rate. My experience was not necessarily a positive one, but I feel the staff and the manager made every effort to assist me. It feels as though they may be very short-staffed, which is stressful for both staff and customers. I had an exceedingly long wait on multiple occasions prior to my move-in, and noticed that some people walked out, unable to make their purchases. To their credit, the staff remain friendly, professional and helpful so I feel they are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances. I had to pay additional charges from the trucking company that moved me due to the long wait to get checked in. There is some type of construction taking place at this time in the storage area, so I found there is dust in the air. Someone was smoking in the storage area and I am hoping that it is not something that continues as I do not want our belongings to smell like cigarette smoke.
