The experience at the location on South Hamilton Road met my expectations. My experience with customer service prior to that though did not. My reservation was made originally at a different pick up location at 2:30 PM. When I arrived at the location, the place was vacant and had gone out of business. I called customer service and the rep was rude and told me that I supposedly should have received a text message indicating a change in my reservation. I didn't receive a text message until 3:38 PM alerting me of a new pick up location at time (4 PM). The customer service rep didn't offer any empathy and solutions. She ignored my question and pushed to end the call. Luckily, when I arrived at the South Hamilton office, the reservation was confirmed and the truck was ready for me.

It was a shit show I heard from my parents. I bought the u haul and they went to pick it up. They said it was so unorganized and people were acting up and being unprofessional. My mom went as far to see a worker go behind their truck in an alley to urinate. Do not pick up u hauls from this location.

Get new employees to work the counter. Very rude and very unprofessional . Guy at the counter was very rude. Had a 50 minute wait to get the truck. He then told me I needed to bring it back earlier than the 4 hrs I had it reserved. Lady in front of me was pregnant and she asked for help to carry out boxes. Their response to her was "aren't you an independent woman?" And laughed before helping. Drop of wasn't any better. Horrible experience. I would rather drive 30 mins out of my way then come back to this one.

On Tuesday the 18th, I ordered a wiring harness to be sent to my local UHaul and paid extra for it to be expedited and get here by the 21st. It never arrived. Then I called and had them find that a Columbus location had the wiring harness so I reserved that to be installed and a trailer for the morning of the 26th. I got there and they didn’t have the correct wiring harness. We had to them get a truck, which was not something we were planning on being able to pay for. BUT there was no one way trucks. So we had to pick it up, drive an hour and a half away, unload it, and drive back the next morning. Moving is stressful enough, but you guys made it a million times worse this weekend.

Thankful for the ability to dispute the photos when first recieving the truck. I rented a cargo van and it had a bunch of straw left inside, when returning the man initially stated I couldn't return the truck in that condition. He then was able to see that I actually was given it that way and there was no issue

The only improvement would be better communication about delivery date to the final destination and how to get access to it ASAP. Was finally able to reach the local destination in California (Hayward) after many tries (usually got the non-local answering person who was not able to answer the question). The person in Hayward (Tracy) was very helpful!

I had my employee pick the trailer up. He said two wheels were locked up and he had to help repack the wheel bearings. Also the trailer plug did not work and had to make them put a new one one. Also one of the lug nuts fell off during the trip. A few calls to uhaul. about the issue with no help. This will be the last time we rent from uhaul.

Guy that I returned equipment to was pretty good and prompt about things. However, the people running the yard when I picked up need employment evaluations. Rude, ignorant, didn’t even get the proper info upon pickup, was assigned another trailer than the one they sent me via text and was given an attitude when questioning about it, was hurried out of this location without being able to inspect unit myself. Found the inside ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING upon opening and trailer had light issues. Usually don’t have bad experiences with U-Haul so I figure it’s just this location. Will never use this one again!!

They never fully hooked my car to the transport , they wrapped the cord around my brake line ... I drove this U-Haul truck with a 1/2 attached car on the back , it could of flipped the entire truck over .... they were extremely unprofessional, rude , ghetto just a horrible location , you allow your workers to wear du rags , he was extremely rushy like he was pissed that he had to do his job . The U-Haul didn’t sound like it was in good shape , the transmission was not good for pulling up hills , the brake pedal had an unsafe hard push behind it ..... this is by far the worse move ever .

What I had actually reserved wasn’t available. If there are no dolly’s to be reserved in any location, don’t make that an option. It seems the online reservations are no better than flying by the seat of your pants the day of.

This was the most frustrating rental experience from start to finsh..I initially reserved a trailer online to be picked up near my sons school..the online site showed it available & allowed me to order & pay for it...several days later I rec'd a confirmation text that the trailer was being picked up at a location that was almost 45 min out of the way...when I called to find out why, the first assoc said he would check..however, all he did was drop me back into the call queue..so after a long hold, during which I think I am being helped, I had to start over again with the next assoc...the 2nd person also said he would check..he actually came back to the line & said no trailers are available in my area & what was provided was the closest..I advised that would not work & needed another solution..he provided the phone number for scheduling that I had to call myself for assistance...I called & the girl I talked to was able to find a trailer at a location on the way to my son's school..I agreed & she changed the reservation & sent me a confirmation text of the new location..all seemed fine until the next morning when I got a voicemail from Shawn at the pick up location that he did not have the trailer size I needed...fortunately, by the time I was able to return his call, he assured me he did have the trailer I needed as he had gone to another nearby city to pick it up...I was very appreciative after the rental booking experience I had so far...when we picked up the trailer, everything went smoothly..we had minimal wait & Shawn helped make sure the trailer was properly attached..this was the only good part of this rental...when we pulled in to return the trailer..I went inside and was advised by a man I later learned was supposed to be the store manager, that someone outside would help..went back out, but saw no one..eventually saw a female check in associate..advised needed to return trailer..she advised pull over near trailers & "Kenny" would assist..pulled up as instructed..didn't see any other associate...did see another customer waiting as well...eventually, a male associate, who I assume was Kenny, showed up to assist other customer..while we were waiting our turn, female associate came flying thru small parking lot in moving truck...she got out & said we couldn't be parked where we were - even though we were parked where she told us to park..she was extremely rude and unhelpful..I would provide her name, but she didnt give it..Our interaction began with her stating "I am irritated"..we told her we needed to return the trailer and this is where she told us to park..she said she would email a receipt, but didnt ask for any of our information.? We said we didnt want to leave without checking in the trailer..as she was walking back to the truck she was moving, she said you can't park here & you need to move..we again said we just need to check in..as she walked away, she said download the app & check in there..then she just got in the truck and ju

The online reservation process is awful. I reserved a 26 foot truck for 24 hours online - the online system said it was available for that time period and at the specific location. A rep called to inform me that I had to pick up at a different location, but never told me the rental length changed. So, I had to pick up the truck further away, AND could not have the truck I reserved for the amount of time I reserved it for. I ended up needing to change my reservation to a smaller truck which caused me to make more trips and pay more to you in mileage. I understand that this was a busy weekend and trucks were in limited supply, but at least upgrade the online reservation system to keep track of inventory better. If a truck won’t be available at a location and/or be available for a specific amount of time - DON’T LET YOUR CUSTOMERS MAKE THE SELECTION. It added a lot of avoidable stress to an already stressful time. With that said, the reps on the phones were very helpful and very focused on problem solving.

Get employees that know what they are doing. Renting from hail is now the 3 most dreaded thing to do in life. When I was at the location a customer called in and the lu were talking to her on speaker phone!! She gave her number address and name and the entire store could hear her! That was bullshit!!!

There is always a line of people waiting to either rent or return uhauls. There is never enough employees working at this location. Need improvement in customer wait time. Extremely difficult to get in & out of this uhaul location. Time is of the essence when a person is moving from one location to the next. These employee's need more help at the customer services counter considering how much renter business this location does on a daily bases.

Stored my UBox at Eastland for over four years. There were no problems with items in the box when taken out. Dustin was excellent at arranging final delivery and rescheduling up. On time, no issues
