I really liked the location and layout! The facility is large and the two men working very attentive and friendly but they were having to cover a lot of area. I wonder how many steps they accumulate in a day! Also they both had very calm, peaceful demeanors. I really liked that! My issue was after I pulled out the “change engine oil soon” light came on. I tried to call back to see if it was okay to drive, but I was put into this mechanical phone tree…never able to talk to a human. The truck was very nice and clean but someone had smoked in it previously… Ugh! Not sure what can be done about that…charge extra to smokers to deodorize….?.

I reserved a 26” truck & belair road location , received a call stating that location now didn't have truck available. I was sent to north point location. North point location didn't have my reserved 26” truck. Now I was forced to rent a 15” truck , which was way to small for the job / move I had to perform. With these issues I had to make 2 extra trips due to space causing me to use more miles then needed. The reps for u hual had me waiting 20 minutes in store before I got service , reps was using cuss words talking to each other. At north point the u haul employee stopped waiting on me and waiting on someone else because he said they had something SLIGHT. Furthermore I reserved a appliance dolly & a standard dolly and the standard dolly was unavailable!!! My experience was very poor to say the least.

Extremely happy with the services and the facilities. It did not feel like a storage. Clean, well lit and felt secure. Great location. Worth every penny. I dealt with Katrina personally at times, she is an excellent manager.

The truck rental we had to take back cause it was infested with roaches, we go into the storage and was a dead rat. Those trucks should be cleaned and sanitized. The units also after a person moves out. Very disappointed.

Train your customer service representatives better....you get what you pay for when you hire employees...I had a horrible experience and none of your employees helped...I was told it was nothing they could do.....the manager had to straightened out everything...I would not recommend doing business here

The Chevy pick up had 1920 miles on it and that shit felt like it was going to fall apart. I feared for my life several times. Also the amount I was quoted at was damn near doubled when I checked out. Seriously, get that truck fixed please.

After making reservations the day before online. I arrived to the location to find they did not have the unit that was advertised to be available. Their system did not have the correct information that match the website for availability. The unit I had reserved was for the Stores Storage space. I was not helped just turned away.

Ensure that the vehicle's gas tank is completely full. I was told at Baltimore that it was almost full so when I returned it to Harrisburg I ensured the level was the same as when I picked it up. Luckily for me, Harrisburg did not charge me for the difference because it was not completely full.

This locations a lot of training and development. No one is rude, they are just young. I have been overcharged for services and when purchasing supplies no one knew how to print a receipt. I am still trying to reach customer service to have my charges corrected. But that's another issue in its self.

Disgusting ! The guy that was working was rude and ignorant. It was raining and I asked him to please get the truck for me as it was at the other end of the lot. He told me he was NOT going to get the truck unless I gave him 20 or 25 dollars. Then when I returned the vehicle he had a nasty remark. I WILL BE PUTTING IN A WRITTEN COMPLAINT TO UHAUL FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING !!!!!

Very poor customer service Rude and disrespectful Upon dropping the vehicle off I was told that my receipt would be emailed to me me however I never received it. When I called to let them know I never received it I spoke with mark who kept saying to me the receipt was emailed when I asked him to confirm the email he said he doesn't know and the system doesn't show the email but he's for sure that it was sent .Which sounds very stupid because how do you know it was emailed if you can't confirm the email. However I talked to I believe his name was Zia who was nicer he didn't fix the problem but he wasn't rude about it either Please in service your staff on the proper customer service techniques not everyone will be as patient as I was with someone who was very rude to me

My last rental was a disaster. I loaded the truck for my last delivery the next morning and the truck will not engage in gear. The shifter cable came loose and I could not deliver my product on time and could not go to work bcos I stayed with the van for hours until it was repaired. Uhaul should have towed away the van instead making me wait for repairs. I should never be charged for my last rental

Could not access storage with code and tried to contact the store manager numerous times so I had to leave my furniture on the truck and I am not sure I will be able to unload it tomorrow before I have to turn in the truck.

I was told that I would receive $29 off my total bill if I returned the vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas. I did and was not given the refund. I have pictures of the gas gauge, the milage I drove, the contract and the total mileage after I returned. If this is not your policy your employees should not tell this to those who rent. Or is this your way of getting others to pay for and fill your vehicles with gas. Either way not a good practice. You should either make the refunds as promised or say nothing about it. Again unfair business practices.

When I picked up my U- haul truck the check engine light was on and when I pointed it out they told me to take it anyway. Also, when I returned the truck I didn't use all the mileage I paid for and didn't use the 6 pads that I rented and they didn't know how to give me a refund. I was given a business card and was told to call the manager, when I called the manager and told her I was due a refund for the pads and the mileage not used she told me to send the request to her in a message which I did but have not yet received a refund that I'm due. Not a very business like experience when the employees don't have access to give a customer a refund at the point of return.

I came in and got a quote for a storage unit and the lady was very helpful. I didnt get her name. I told her I would step out and weigh some other options before deciding on it for sure. I came back not even 20-30 mins later, had to wait at least 15 more mins for someone to come help. His name was Abel. He was very standoffish, only helpful when he wanted to be. Smug, unorganized, and inattentive. I also had to wait after I paid for my unit, for him to take another customer before he walked me over and took off the lock. So I had to wait on his time to even start loading my things. I had other people waiting on me, it was just not a good experience. Had the lady from earlier still been there, I believe my experience wouldve been a lot better.

I was given the wrong truck with a vastly different starting mileage compared to what was on the invoice. When I asked the associate about changing this in the system, he said the drop off location can change it. When I dropped off the truck in Benton Harbor, the associates there weren't able to adjust it in there system. This experience was a huge headache and required much more time than expected.

I was charged more then I was told was gonna be the price. I filled the tank up to 1/4 which it was at when I picked up the truck and in my receipt it says It was below 1/4 tank when it was returned which isn't true. This happens everytime I rent through uhaul. I will no longer be renting any equipment from uhaul. Too many issues and being charged more then I was told.

Everytime I rent from U-Haul they try to rip me off with the gas or mileage. Make sure you take a screenshot of both when you get in the truck and when you're done.

My reservation was for a van at Carroll Island Rd. Crown Station. My reservation was made online on Friday for p/u on Saturday and it showed the van was in-stock. When I arrived there Saturday there was no van! The guy working the register wanted to give me an open pick up truck! I said no because that was not what I reserved and not what I needed. He told me to go to another location. I told him no - he needed to call around to find me a van because he had my reservation and knew I was coming. He was lazy and thought he could push the p/u truck on me. He seemed like it was a bother for him to call dispatch to find a van for me. The woman was able to transfer my reservation to North Point which was 1/2 hr. from where I was. This caused me to be late for my appointment to pick up furniture that I needed the van for. I also had to go further because of the new location to get the van and had to spend more money on mileage and gas. The guy should have called me to let me know he didn't have the van. He knew it was not coming back Saturday morning and didn't bother to call me before I showed up. This is not how you conduct business. i will never rent through him again.

I would like to suggest that staff is well knowledgeable about practices so that customers don't get shocked like I did! Went to my storage only to find that my lock was cut off and another lock had been placed on what was my locker!!!!! When staff opened it it was EMPTY!

More should be done about the rat and or mouse problem . The bait in my storage unit was not enough . Rodent droppings were everywhere. I didn't have food attractions, nevertheless l had to throw many articles of mine away because of the droppings .

I've had reason to work with UHaul in MD, TX, and VA. This location the Associate was very helpful, helped me figure out what I needed and how long I would need it for. Very patient and helpful.

I had 1 major issue with this facility - access and the staff's response to the problem. In the month I used it they were never able to fix the problem, and it created major inconveniences during our move. The staff seemed frustrated and apathic throughout.

Terrible communication and service. It took over 3 months months to get problems fixed that was was created by the staff. Empty promises. I have one storage left and I'm in the process getting it emptied and moved to another storage facility. I will not do business with UHAUL again.

This review is for "T" at the 4301 Pulaski location. After a horrible experience moving from NY to MD, she was a lifesaver. Got us everything we needed with no issues. Give her a raise y'all. She goes to the end for uhaul clients. She's very thorough and doesn't miss details. Thank you so much T for your hard work and help to my wife and I.

My experience was very disappointing. The staff at this location was not helpful and did not seem to understand how to use their reservation programs. The first person helping me typed with just two fingers and did not look at his work so I had to correct him multiple times. The saving grace to that experience was that the screen was turned outward so that I could see it. Otherwise I imagine we would have had even more issues. Then this gentleman could not find my reservation (I believe he was looking in the wrong place) and essentially made me start an entirely new one. When I reserved I was told I would have an outward facing, first floor, climate controlled unit. When I got to the space they would bot look up any record of my unit and tried to assign me to a unit that would have us going through a maze. This facility also seemed to have no security and I wouldn't trust the staff to watch one of my houseplants let alone all of my belongings. While waiting in the parking lot we witnessed domestic abuse. It became clear during this process that I would need to find a new unit. I asked the staff to help me get a later truck return time free of charge and they could bot help with this either. One person told me that because she did not make the reservation she could not look up the details. This was perplexing because I would assume any uhaul employee should have that ability. Moving has it's own stresses and emotions leaving a place I love. This experience at u-haul was so horrendous and added such unnecessary stress and lost time to our journey. For the well being of all, this facility should have some serious attention in training and security.

It's nice and clean BUT it's TOO hot in there. The temperature on the thermostat inside the storage facility rose from 87 to 88 degrees yesterday afternoon as I unloaded my trailer (Sunday, June 27). I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty. She was very nice and attempted to lower the temperature but it did not cool off. This is a serious concern being that many of the customers' belongings are sensitive to heat, which is why we've agreed to pay a premium for climate control units. Please look into this situation and ensure that it's fixed this week. Merci

I was happy with the storage unit. I was very unhappy with the truck rental. I was charged an extra day for bringing the truck back (2) hours "Late". I put a total of 11 miles on the truck. I was told that "That's the policy". "Nothing could be done about that". Not happy at all about that.
