I was moved from the Golden Ring location Dundalk the day before my reservation because there wasn't going to be a 26' truck available at Golden Ring even though I had made the reservation well in advance. Then when I got to Dundalk location the day of my reservation I was told there were no 26' available and was given the option to take a 20' truck. I said that was ok because I thought it would be enough room but I ended up needing the 26'. Very disappointing experience.

The only recommendation I have is the cargo trailers should have tongue jacks on them in the event that trailer may have to be removed from the back of the vehicle. It would be impossible for it to be removed with the cargo trailer filled with items.

DO NOT expect a clean, well maintained truck. DO NOT expect to have the unit you reserved because they will lie and give you 2 smaller units instead. DO NOT expect any employee to give a crap about you. Instead you are an inconvenience to everyone working there and your mere presence is enough to make them all angry because they have to start "working" or whatever they call it. This place is terrible and the employees will disrespect and lie to you every chance they get.

Filthy environment, extreme rat problem, "junkie" employees and false advertisement. Everything and everywhere is this Uhaul facility is disgusting and the rats destroy the units and the problem will never cease. The employees are always high as a kite and ignorant to customers as if they are mad they have to "work", which is the perfect job for these junkies. The manager does not care and treats you like an inconvenience if there is a problem. It's almost like THATS HER JOB! This Uhaul at Eastpoint is a waste of time, money and jobs

Si je le pouvais, je leur donnerais 0 étoiles. They lie about the units. If you RESERVE a 10x10x10 you will instead receive 2 5x5 units! That's not even a full 10x10. This place is a joke and every single staff member is high as a kite every single day and extremely rude/arrogant for no reason at all. It's almost like you're making their day worse because you make them have to "work" . "Oh no I have to type on a keyboard and clean a truck. This is such hard work. Let's all just get high and be rude to customers!

Driver had a hard time finding the house and was almost an hour late. He said I would be charged from the time I got a call from him and not when they left the office. Still, it was almost an hour late. When they did show up, they were very nice and got to work right away and were careful handling the furniture. I think they worked hard carrying some heavy boxes. Price was reasonable.

There is nothing marked were to leave a trailer. It is on a hill so the trailers will roll without something to chock the wheels. I had to look around for quite a while to find something. It is difficult to unhook the trailer because of that making it dangerous.

The guy at the desk spoke so fast I could barely understand him. He sent me to find the truck myself and I'm pregnant; it was 90 degrees. I found it and needed keys for the padlock. I walked back and he had me go find someone else. That second guy helped me tremendously!! We went back inside to the guy at the desk to get the key, just to be told he doesn't have it. He said he only had one truck with the locks and that was smaller than what I originally wanted. He had us locate that truck alone, again. This time, something was wrong with the truck so I had to go back to my original reservation and buy my own pad lock. Absolutely ridiculous and no help at all. Walked around for almost 50 minutes. Will never go to this location again.

Picking up the truck was a great experience. The problem was dropping of the vehicle. The vehicle is not inspected until after you leave. This allows the company to put down whatever they want as far as damage, mileage and gas.

Too many rats and feces. Lady showed us her unit and it was rat feces everywhere on her belongings. Rats may be the issue for me need exterminator. I seen all the rat traps and boxes on the floor which some of my furniture is sticking to it. The price shouldn't even be what it is due to the rat infestation. My furniture will eaten through by the time I get my things out.

Please take out the trash in the bathroom and put some hand soap in the hand soap dispenser. Other than that I have no complaints. The staff at this location was very friendly, prompt, and helpful. Thank you U-Haul staff!

I rented this storage because it was a controlled environment, but it is not. The mouse infestation is uncontrolled and the items that I had in my storage were completely covered in mouse feces and urine, it was terrible. You cannot even walk down the corridors of the facility without being overwhelmed by the smell of the urine, it actually burns your eyes and nose. I do not believe that Uhaul cares enough to hire an exterminator to take care of such a severe problem, and this is a very severe problem.

This location has excellent associates. They are quick, helpful and attentive to the customer. What normally takes me 15 minutes or more at other locations, takes less than 5 minutes here. I will be using this store from now on.

SECOND REQUEST (1st request 4/16/24) On April 6, I went into this location and spoke with your rep (can't recall name) I discussed that I'd need a PICKUP truck for next Saturday (4/13) and I'd be traveling about 200 miles. He indicated that I'd be charged $109 (truck rental and 100 miles) and then an additional $1,29per mile over 100 miles. He stated that he works on Sunday's so he'd be there and he was familiar with what we discussed. So I was at ease. When I arrived @10am on 4/13 location, there were no pickup trucks, no I opted for a Cargo Van, but then changed to the smallest Box Truck as my comfort level was better for this vehicle. My issue came about when I returned the truck on Sunday (4/14). I was charged $1,49 per mile for the 182 mile trip. I explained to the agent that when I had spoken to my first agent he indicated the rate ($109). He said it was done that way because I said I was going approximately 200 miles and he didn't know how to make the change. I am looking to resolve this issue by the following reimbursements plus tax: 1) Milage = $20 (234,78 - 214,78 ($109 + $1,29 x 82miles) 2) Rental charge = $19,95 (as that is included in the $109 fee) 3) Gas = $7 estimated (I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas -vs- 13/16 required fuel). Refund can be applied to card.

Truck ran real good. Clean enough to my satisfaction. Service at pick up and drop off was excellent. Quick and pleasant. I suppose the price was on par for 15" rental driving under 200 miles away. Priced $278 with their insurance included.

The website to reserve or pick up your truck is horrible. It took me over an hour to get the key from the lock box. I would strongly recommend you test the check in process on your own to see the kinks and then upgrade it. The staff online and at the actual facility were great.

Last Friday March 1, 2024 I rented a Uhaul for in state move. I only traveled 70 miles however the truck that we were give odometer, battery light and some others we on. The truck was returned that and I called in and expressed my concerns. The next morning I spoke with a rep about this issue and the fact I was overcharged for 200 extra miles I did not drive. I was advised this a ticket will be open and someone from the office would follow up midweek. On Sunday someone reached out via phone stated that the issue was being resolved and I should be receiving a call back during the regular business hours during the week as it couldn't be update over the weekend due to limited access. The also advised that someone test drove the faulty truck and that I would only be charged $60 in total and the other $200 plus dollars would be charged off due to the issue with the rental. However as of today the original payment is still on my account, nothing has been updated on the system or in my account. No one has a followed up again and now I am receiving a collection notice for payment I shouldn't be required to cover as told. Please pull all recent phone calls and check tickets in the system The truck was also dirty had alcohol cans in the cab faulty tires couldn't accelerate and was very shaky as advised which is the reason it was supposed to be investigated and a resolution was supposed to be provided but nothing

When I went to remove my my things from the storage unit. It was infested with mice, all my things, including things that were cherish that belong to my father, who has passed were saturated in feces and mouse or rat urine. All my belongings were ruined!! Also, the manager at the facility was extremely rude and spoke to me like I was someone that was a homeless gutter rat until he found out that I did not live anywhere near the facility that I had rented at that. In fact, I was a registered nurse living in a high end part of Maryland when I pointed this out to him he was very ugly, and he has no business and management! He really needs to learn how to treat all people like a human being, regardless of their status or address!!!!

Merchants that don't allow their customers to make payments on their accounts send them to their competitors. I had extra money and wanted to put $100 onto my account so when the bill became due, I would only owe $44.95. I'm on a fixed income and partial payments help me pay my bills on time. UHaul doesn't allow partial payments and when bill became due I wasn't able to pay full amount. I ended up incurring excessively high late fees and othe fees. Altogether I ended up paying around $80 plus two monthly storage fees. When I rented my last truck, I got met with a NO RENT TO ME situation because of a previous rental. I was told I owed $297 for truck rental from weeks before due to mileage. I ended up having to pay $163,11 plus $121 to get truck. I had no choice considering I had moving help coming from Washington, DC. NOT EVER RENTING ANYTHING FROM UHAUL IN THE FUTURE. GREEDY for money and charges excessive high fees. Don't give the customer no kind of breaks or help by waiving any fees.

I'm normally very happy with the storage unit I have used using it twice before however this time they told me that they were going to have a lock in my storage unit and it was not there and I'm right I'm pleased because now I have things in my storage and my storage is not secure. I've been trying to get them for two days and I can't get them on the phone so I am very unhappy because I don't know the condition of my storage

The lock was not in the unit as stated in my text. There was a dead mouse on the floor as I was looking the window. Had I not desperately needed storage, I definitely would not have placed my stuff in the unit. Just praying the mice don't invade my privacy.

After I moved in with heavy items - hard to move - the manager raised the price on the storage space twice - without my knowledge or approval. Since I was already moved in, she new that it would be a big effort to just move out. The last increase was $20/mo. above the price on your sign in the sample show space. When I pointed that out she said she would change the sign. I feel that this is your regular practice and would not do business with you company in the future.

1) The key code never worked despite several special trips to test it. Every time I opened the unit the alarm went off. 2) Several times over the 2 years I used this unit, the doors were just locked. 3) When it was time to move out, I arrived a day in advance to find a bunch of pickups and box trucks blocking the door to my unit. I asked the front desk nicely to move them and they refused citing, "They're not ours. They're from another store." and gave me the general customer service number to call. The next day, I call and customer service told me there's nothing they can do. I drove back to the store and asked the front desk workers to please move the trucks as I had movers coming in a large truck to load my stuff. He said he'd talk to his manager and would call me if he ran into issues. I go home to help the movers until we got to the storage unit leg of the move. We arrive at the store to find not only did the trucks NOT get moved there were in fact MORE of them in the way. We had to cart everything across the parking lot weaving in and out of trucks just to load everything. This experience was so bad, I'll never use Uhaul ever again, and I'll make sure everyone I know is aware of how this happened. Awful awful customer service.

A reservation was made for storage and when got to the facility the storage unit was already rented out. They cut the lock thinking a person forgot there lock but when they did that they saw the unit was full of stuff. They most likely rented out and forgot to update there records. I would not recommend. The staff stated even that a reservation does not hold a unit so basically first come and first serve but it doesn't state that when making a reservation.

Extraordinarily clean and beautiful establishment. Alexander was very polite, very helpful, and very friendly. Above all, awesome employee. He is someone I would hire if I had a business. He showed me how to open and operate doors to my storage unit. He suggested I buy a lock because that's something i hadn't thought about. Wonderful place.

Worst experience ever! there was water on my boxes from the floors, rat or mice poop literally everywhere all over my stuff it was so ridiculous I had to wash every piece of laundry before taking it into my new home!! When I told the manager they said there's nothing they can do but to make a complain. That's just ridiculous. Poor staff and horrible at maintaining the place.

Mice damage my cloth chairs and when I moved in there was mice crap everywhere. Told the staff they did nothing. Could not remove so new 4 chairs had to be taking to the dump plus they damaged some clothes etc.

I only picked no for well maintained because they have no carts I had to walk my entire uhaul to my storage which was very inconvenient. I spoke to the workers and they said they ordered some because the old ones went missing or was stolen but I don't think that should be my fault other than the carts being missing I love the space the security

When I moved into U-Haul they gave me two storage bins because I was supposed to get one large one and they did not have it available even though it was in the computer then they took my stuff out of there and no one ever responded back even though I called the office multiple times and even try to contact the manager no one called me back and I was never compensated for some of the stuff that I lost the only thing they did was stated that I don't owe for the couple of months that I did not pay I was too busy to deal with the legal part of all of this so I just agreed on calling it even and took a big loss on a lot of my stuff the facility was dirty when I first went in there they did however clean it up

All was well untill the storage part of the move. The person who assigned me the unit did not provide me with the access hours nor does it say it on the document. Then the code did not work. I had helpers with me that I paid for and was unable to access the unit due to the time that I arrived under the impression that I would no problem accessing the unit. Then I come back in the morning again with a helper during supposed access hours and my code does not work. So I then have to sit and wait for almost an hour before staff opens up meanwhile I can see staff there and as one comes out to unlock said doors I make mention that my does not work and she says to wait till she's finished and go to the office so she can help. They unlock the maind doors I let them know what my concern she asks me for my code which provide they test it, it does not work, they provide with a new code that doees not work either, then one other employee says "yea a lot of other people are having a hard time with their access code not working either". At which point I memtion the details of my previous nights expierence and they don't regard it as a concern. I proceed with my one helper at this point which now has a job to go to within the half hour so I found myself unloading 90 percent of 15 ft truck. There was not apology or sense of urgency or any other accomodation all while being aware that I had to retirn the vehicle by 11am. I would not recommend this particular side of the business without suggesting they check and verify other options first. Merci.

The definition of a reservation is arranging for something to be kept for use of a particular person and not given to anyone else. That is what you would expect when you make a reservation correct? That you have an assured space with your name on it that is ready when you arrive? Apparently that's not what Uhaul thinks a reservation means. I had reserved a storage unit 2 months ago. We pack the truck and drive 6 hours from a different city to the facility expecting my reservation to be ready. Instead, I was told they didn't have any available units in the size or conditions I was looking for...despite receiving CONFIRMATION of my reservation. I was given the explanation that "corporate controls the units" and "you aren't assured a space when you make a reservation". Excuse me? Why call it a reservation when you're NOT ASSURED you have a spot?! I was then told there was a different unit available at the facility but it was a higher price then what I was planning for. I had no choice but to take the HIGHER PIRCED unit due to time constraints. That is ridiculous. Shame on Uhaul for falsely advertising the ability to RESERVE space then forcing your hand into paying for a higher priced unit.
