I came in and got a quote for a storage unit and the lady was very helpful. I didnt get her name. I told her I would step out and weigh some other options before deciding on it for sure. I came back not even 20-30 mins later, had to wait at least 15 more mins for someone to come help. His name was Abel. He was very standoffish, only helpful when he wanted to be. Smug, unorganized, and inattentive. I also had to wait after I paid for my unit, for him to take another customer before he walked me over and took off the lock. So I had to wait on his time to even start loading my things. I had other people waiting on me, it was just not a good experience. Had the lady from earlier still been there, I believe my experience wouldve been a lot better.

I was given the wrong truck with a vastly different starting mileage compared to what was on the invoice. When I asked the associate about changing this in the system, he said the drop off location can change it. When I dropped off the truck in Benton Harbor, the associates there weren't able to adjust it in there system. This experience was a huge headache and required much more time than expected.

I was charged 3 times for my rental. When I called they said the other two charges would drop off. It's been 5 days since I rented and they still haven't. That is just wrong.

I was charged more then I was told was gonna be the price. I filled the tank up to 1/4 which it was at when I picked up the truck and in my receipt it says It was below 1/4 tank when it was returned which isn't true. This happens everytime I rent through uhaul. I will no longer be renting any equipment from uhaul. Too many issues and being charged more then I was told.

Everytime I rent from U-Haul they try to rip me off with the gas or mileage. Make sure you take a screenshot of both when you get in the truck and when you're done.

Had a little wait(10 minutes) at counter, could be timing, or not enough employees…. Just being honest/ not a complaint . But I was so impressed with the hustle, the positive attitude , the friendliness, and the professionalism of the employees that I encountered.

My reservation was for a van at Carroll Island Rd. Crown Station. My reservation was made online on Friday for p/u on Saturday and it showed the van was in-stock. When I arrived there Saturday there was no van! The guy working the register wanted to give me an open pick up truck! I said no because that was not what I reserved and not what I needed. He told me to go to another location. I told him no - he needed to call around to find me a van because he had my reservation and knew I was coming. He was lazy and thought he could push the p/u truck on me. He seemed like it was a bother for him to call dispatch to find a van for me. The woman was able to transfer my reservation to North Point which was 1/2 hr. from where I was. This caused me to be late for my appointment to pick up furniture that I needed the van for. I also had to go further because of the new location to get the van and had to spend more money on mileage and gas. The guy should have called me to let me know he didn't have the van. He knew it was not coming back Saturday morning and didn't bother to call me before I showed up. This is not how you conduct business. i will never rent through him again.

I am very pleased with the service that I get I have no complaints but not all customers are as patient and understanding as I am But while I'm in line I hear other customers complain about having to wait extended periods of time when for whatever reason the facility is short staffed That's an observation not a complaint on my part I'm a satisfied repeat customer and will continue to be Thank you all Katrina Mark Jesse. My reservation was changed despite making it weeks in advance. I had to drive to a 2nd location to pick up my trailer, my reservation was changed to a truck instead and I had to argue to get what I reserved. The w tore experience was incredibly frustrating and took hours. I had reserved something at the location close to me and checked in online to save time and this interrupted my entire day and impacted my movers. Furthermore, my drop off location was changed as well and was over 20 miles away from my original reserved drop off location. I had to call and wait on hold for a while to change my reservation to it's original state. What is the point of making reservations if they are not maintained?

First, the location is convenient, very clean, easy to schedule/reserve & return. The rental was very clean, but A/C didn't work. I was automatically charged for 19 gallons of gas, that Ididn't use and have yet to receive a call back from the manager when I went to the store in person and left a message. I had to call the 800# to get assistance & the issue resolved. Not good. Thank goodness I took pictures of the fuel gauge before and after. How the folks there could not see that 19 gallons of fuel was not used going only 10 miles. You must do better UHAUL.

The ac in my truck just stopped working half way thru my rental leaving me sweating. Even tho I put back the gas to the same amount that it had in it I was charged $24 fuel surcharge. I had already put $30 in gas in the truck before I returned it and only drove 30 miles. Needles to say I won't be renting another U-Haul in the future.

Dundalks private contractor Dave was the first to mention that my truck was not strapped properly. He thought I was picking up and didn't want us to have any mishaps. Good eye. Give that man a bonus because he went above and beyond. There was also another young man who was running the parking lot. Turns out he wasn't even the manager. Very good crew here.

the only problem i had was when I returned the trailer rented they did not put it as returned in the computer and received a phone message that I needed to return the trailer or U-haul was going to report it as stolen and contact the police Josh had left the message but did not call back to verify I had resolved the issue by going in person to get the problem resolved . i feel that some one drop the ball on this and customer service is an issue with everyone , I will be more cautious if I rent again. Short staffed. However the two young [very young] guys working the place did an excellent job of maintaining a professional and productive atmosphere. They where dealing with some difficult situations. Not once did I detect a shred of frustration. I have been dealing with the public for close to 40 years. These two guys are naturals.

They were slow and only one person working for the weekend and a very long line and then the other worker came in once the line was winding down. And I have not received my refund from returning the truck which was returned on Saturday and it is now Monday. I haven't even received an receipt.

The rental went smoothly but the data entry caused me to almost have to pay a ton of money more. I also had ordered blankets and even though my trailer was ready for me. The blankets were never mentioned or provided. I thought they would have been in the trailer snice I ordered everything online.

I got there. Had a 9:00 reservation, walked through the door and this employee says, “ I was just about to call you, we don't have your truck, it will be here at 10:30”. I said not my problem, call another location or something I have movers coming at 10. At this point the other boy working says, “well we can give you a bigger truck, we will just have to clean it…and don't worry they're the same price to rent.” I have no problem taking a bigger truck but even if it did cost more, this is your problem and I wouldn't pay a penny more. The truck had an obnoxious rattle inside and quite a few dash lights on. It did the job. I went to refill the gas and the gas cap had broken off and I couldn't get the plug out. Called customer service and she said well, we can get you to promise to pay for the gas you owe. The hell I will. I did my due diligence. Your company rented me a shit truck. I've wasted 20 minutes trying to open and fill it. I had made the reservation for the golden ring location and for some reason the website transferred my reservation to a further location. This is probably my last visit to uhaul.

First the drop off lied I turned my vehicle with same amount of gas but was started 100 just for fuel bc they said I return with 1/8 tank not 1/4 tank which is a lie My reservation was moved location so when I arrived at where I reserved my uhaul it was not there I called and it had been moved to another location The mobile pick up didn't work The guys inside the store were joking around complaining about their job and stated then once I got everything squared away k was told the guy would bring me vehicle I waited 10 min went back in and the guy was in back joking around and forgot about Me didn't get my reservation until 10

When you call an advance for a truck have it ready. You should not have to wait and hour and a half . I order a 26 and I had to take a 15. Which made me have to do several trips. The return guy was nice but I had to pay extra for gas. 樂樂樂

My wife begged me to rent yet another uhaul and of course I attempted to use other areas before trying 222 north point road, and I had no luck so I rent from there again scared to see what problem I am going to have this time. After waiting 30 mins with only 2 people in front of me I was served and I noticed that there were customers complaining about issues with rentals while I was there. there was a guy who they had given a truck and they did not inspect the truck and handed the guy a dirty vehicle so being scheptical even more I continued with the process I get my truck and noticed that the fuel reported was severely wrong and just like the customers prior to me I became another complaint. Having to wait behind other customers to complain about fuel, I was help by a guy who seems to have the enthusiasm to do the job well. I could tell that there is allot of lack of happening at that location. Lack of good management(store manager) lack of store manager over sight. however it is my experience from having been a store manager that the store manager at 222 north point is not great at all she is probably a good assistant manager or needs a smaller location to manager cause she Is running the store down and in to the ground if people filed complaints as much as they should I am sure you would have one everyday for a few people. I don't not recommend this location to anyone I know i only warn people about this location. I will be sure to review this location the worst as I can on every social media I have the public needs to be warned.....

my reservation was cancelled the day before my move and I was then switched to a different and further location with another guarantee that I would have my truck at that location. I showed up and was told that I did not have a truck reserved. This wasted my time and added more miles to my trip. Then I was given a small van and had to make multiple unplanned trips, wasting my time again, and I also hired movers through your system and they were unable to adequately assist me in my move due to the limited equipment, again wasting my time and money. I was charged for extra time and miles. Absolutely ridiculous

The trailer cost twice as much as it did in December. I understand things have gone up, but this is pretty outrageous. When I dropped it off at UHaul in Columbia, SC he was shocked at how much it costed me. It would be nice to receive a partial refund. This was highway robbery!

I asked paid for certain things to be loaded on my truck to assist me in moving which was not on the truck I only had me to move my belongings and the dolly and the tv box I asked for would have been lovely but I never got it then on top of that I had to move everything unassisted

Not sure because I have 2 pending payments. First, I paid online but when I got to the store, they asked for my information again. They people helping me were nice but all seemed new. I used this service many times in the past and I was only asked to identify myself and show ID. I recently noticed two pending transactions on my bank statement. It should only be one. I will dispute this with my bank on Monday.

I would like to suggest that staff is well knowledgeable about practices so that customers don't get shocked like I did! Went to my storage only to find that my lock was cut off and another lock had been placed on what was my locker!!!!! When staff opened it it was EMPTY!

For a quick find in MD they were wonderful. I lived right across from them so very convenient. DE I was on a 6 month hold but I found something because I moved out in DE a bit over a year ago.

More should be done about the rat and or mouse problem . The bait in my storage unit was not enough . Rodent droppings were everywhere. I didn't have food attractions, nevertheless l had to throw many articles of mine away because of the droppings .

I've had reason to work with UHaul in MD, TX, and VA. This location the Associate was very helpful, helped me figure out what I needed and how long I would need it for. Very patient and helpful.

I had 1 major issue with this facility - access and the staff's response to the problem. In the month I used it they were never able to fix the problem, and it created major inconveniences during our move. The staff seemed frustrated and apathic throughout.

I believe Christina was the staff person who assisted me on 8/7/21. She was very patient and professional. She provided all the details I needed regarding the contract and the storage unit. I felt very comfortable with using this facility.

Terrible communication and service. It took over 3 months months to get problems fixed that was was created by the staff. Empty promises. I have one storage left and I'm in the process getting it emptied and moved to another storage facility. I will not do business with UHAUL again.

This review is for "T" at the 4301 Pulaski location. After a horrible experience moving from NY to MD, she was a lifesaver. Got us everything we needed with no issues. Give her a raise y'all. She goes to the end for uhaul clients. She's very thorough and doesn't miss details. Thank you so much T for your hard work and help to my wife and I.

My experience was very disappointing. The staff at this location was not helpful and did not seem to understand how to use their reservation programs. The first person helping me typed with just two fingers and did not look at his work so I had to correct him multiple times. The saving grace to that experience was that the screen was turned outward so that I could see it. Otherwise I imagine we would have had even more issues. Then this gentleman could not find my reservation (I believe he was looking in the wrong place) and essentially made me start an entirely new one. When I reserved I was told I would have an outward facing, first floor, climate controlled unit. When I got to the space they would bot look up any record of my unit and tried to assign me to a unit that would have us going through a maze. This facility also seemed to have no security and I wouldn't trust the staff to watch one of my houseplants let alone all of my belongings. While waiting in the parking lot we witnessed domestic abuse. It became clear during this process that I would need to find a new unit. I asked the staff to help me get a later truck return time free of charge and they could bot help with this either. One person told me that because she did not make the reservation she could not look up the details. This was perplexing because I would assume any uhaul employee should have that ability. Moving has it's own stresses and emotions leaving a place I love. This experience at u-haul was so horrendous and added such unnecessary stress and lost time to our journey. For the well being of all, this facility should have some serious attention in training and security.

It's nice and clean BUT it's TOO hot in there. The temperature on the thermostat inside the storage facility rose from 87 to 88 degrees yesterday afternoon as I unloaded my trailer (Sunday, June 27). I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty. She was very nice and attempted to lower the temperature but it did not cool off. This is a serious concern being that many of the customers' belongings are sensitive to heat, which is why we've agreed to pay a premium for climate control units. Please look into this situation and ensure that it's fixed this week. Merci

I was happy with the storage unit. I was very unhappy with the truck rental. I was charged an extra day for bringing the truck back (2) hours "Late". I put a total of 11 miles on the truck. I was told that "That's the policy". "Nothing could be done about that". Not happy at all about that.

Very polite & informative @ check in desk. Officers often sit in patrol cars on lot (deterrent). Security system kicks but, very loud alarms. Climate control adds feeling that items inside will fare well. Roll carts provided free.

Everytime I opened my unit alarms went off because I was never told I had to put in my code when I went in. My unit was at the end of row the lights NEVER CAME ON did not feels safe when I was there by myself. When I said something when I closed out the unit I got " yea they are working on it". I also ask if I was getting a refund for time left that I paid for was told no.

I find the units to be a bit pricey, though that's apparently the case with all units in this area. But I can't fault the staff or the units themselves. And there's an excellent pupuseria and grocery in the same parking lot!

Staff was very good overall. Katrina did a great job. I had multiple units over several months and didn't have any issues or concerns. Rented a 26 foot truck which worked well and was clean. Have not always been able to say this about Uhaul, but great job. I will use you again when the need arises.
