The worst uhaual place ever... the associates and managers do not communicate with each, left my standing at the counter not knowing if I was done with my transaction or not, over charged me for gas that was in correct from beginning of rental, horrible customer service. First I will never go back to this location. The manager is a lady and she is super rude and she won't pay attention that one of her employees was rude and disrespectful to you. I was talking to her explaining the situation and she just ignored me. They as fighting with my husband because the trailer lights didn't work and that was the trailer problem not ours. And than another lady that works there came to tell us to go without it because they didn't have any more time for us and it was late, va you believe that. Ad the manager difuso anything. After they gave us another trailer and it worked out. But I will never ever again go to this location, they have very poor customer service skills. I had a small unit, but was given some extra stuff before we got there. Once I found that the unit was too small I went to the office and was helped by Melody, who was more the friendly and completely professional, even tho she had 2 other people she was waiting on, as well as answering the phone!! First and foremost recommend to everyone to get the $5 insurance Starting Mar 2021 thru Nov 2021 I have had reason to pull four different U-Haul trailers. Two trips to TX from MD, Two trips to VA from MD. On my trip from TX to MD my trailere had a flat. The roadside assistance was outstanding. Fast I didn't lose alot of time, and the technician was polite and respectful. Maybe 2 hrs start fo finish. Kudo's Roadside. All but the last trailer was outstanding equipment wise. The last trailer carrying my U-Box was like dragging an anchor. The first three trailers rolled along with me, move freely with not alot of gas. The last cost me as much as my trip from TX.Kathy H.

I am highly disappointed with UHaul overall. I reserved a truck October 7 and upon arriving to pick up from the original location, I quickly saw that no trucks were available. I was told to contact customer service and I did. The same truck I reserved was confirmed and guaranteed at this location on North Point, only to be told that the truck was NOT available for out of state after I was told the day before that it was. Only a 10' was available and I was charged the rate for the larger truck, plus an additional $16 because of demand. Now I have to rent again to move the rest of my belongings. The only resolution I received was extra miles with the auto confirm of the bigger truck and then when I submitted a customer objection, I was only refunded $16 and told that the rate was due to demand (I reserved my truck October 7). I am absolutely displeased with Uhaul overall and now have to come out for an additional rental to move again.Taiz H.

The only thing that i didn't care for was that when the text was sent to me asking if the vehicle was in good condition and showed me that there were no damages to the vehicle there is a cracked windshield. I don't mund that it was cracked. But I do mind that it was mentioned that there were no existing damages to said vehicle. Yet there is! Other than that. You guys are awesome. Im always needing a big truck to move something or helo a friend or family member. So i will be back. And it will be this particular location. I have been trying to call the location for the last two days at 5:30 or after and it says that this site is open till 7:3[ but both days I have been on HOLD FOR 30 +MINUTES. I am trying to get my deposit back that I payed in cash but cant seem to get ahold of anyone after 5 pm when I get off work so I decided not to drive down since they dont ANSWER THE PHONE I DON'T WANNA WASTE MY GAS NOR TIME WITH A 2YEAR OLD OUT THAT LATE. None of your computer systems work. I booked online for the truck at the Exxon gas station Merritt Blvd 21222. The computer system automated text said the truck was at N Point Blvd store. Then booking was randomly cancelled. Then, from the store, with the girls working the computers and I working the phones, I tried to find the nearest available truck with a ramp. Would have paid $1000 and driven out of state if necessary. No one, not traffic, not customer service, and not the computers behind the desk, and not by calling other stores, could locate the next truck for me. It was a comedy of errors and the largest rental truck company in the US should be ashamed at how their services operate. I got lucky when someone randomly returned a truck to N Point location early. 2 and a half hours of calls to any UHaul number I could locate, plus attendants working hard at the computer system, and it came down to luck. Amazon would put you out of business in 3 months if they wanted to run fleets of rental vehicles. You would be dead as a doornail before you knew what hit you.ADAM K.

My dolly was forgotten. The Tow dolly was not completely ready to be used - we had to undo some parts. The equipment was OK but the steering wheel made a lot of noise when turning, and the tow dolly was super creaky, making it was difficult to use.Madeline S.

Expense! $160 for mileage on top of the rental and then gas was charged to completely FILL the tank instead of to half, where I received it PLUS a $30 gas surcharge. The costs with all that are exorbitant. Total cost of rental for TWO days is $400+!!!! How do you expect people who are putting out money for a new place and can't afford movers so they do it themselves, to afford these sky high prices?Christopher S.

I placed my order early morning on oct 3 to pick up truck at 6pm only to find out at 8pm that the truck I reserved at the location I was told to go wasn't available. Poor experienceTucker G.
The store manager Katrina doesn't call back if you're having problems. Northpoint Blvd location NEVER answers the phone, y always get sent to the call center.This is the only storage company that I know that doesn't prorate and charge you for an extra month even if you're moving out the day after your due date. This was my first experience using them and will be my last! I will go back to using PUBLIC STORAGE! Customer service has never been an issue. I just used this location at the time because it was convenient. NEVER EVER AGAINLAKISHA T.

ive been doing retail business there buying shipping products for years, i know every part number by memory, always under staffed, went to rent a truck, reserved it week in advance wasnt there, had me standing aroundn while they waited on others offered a smaller truck! then when a 20 ft came in i reserved a 15 i took the 930 friday morning and needed it till Saturday afternoon there ringing my phone where is the truck not ever giving to shits about me and my moving concerns only about everyone else, and twice on september 27th this was wrote up as a pickup truck rental twice!! i had to call back to confirm the 15ft and still never got it! you could not screw up any more if u tried!JAMES T.

First, I reserved a truck 1,6 miles from my home. The day before pickup, it was announced that I would be picking up 17 miles from my home. It was not missed that this happened at a time that made it almost impossible to find a closer truck, regardless of company or expense. When I picked the truck up, the equipment that I rented was not available. I would never recommend U- haul to my worst enemy. Fuck them. Remember that a happy customer tells few people, but an unhappy one tells the world. I am that unhappy customer!Joseph H.

It's nice and clean BUT it's TOO hot in there. The temperature on the thermostat inside the storage facility rose from 87 to 88 degrees yesterday afternoon as I unloaded my trailer (Sunday, June 27). I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty. She was very nice and attempted to lower the temperature but it did not cool off. This is a serious concern being that many of the customers' belongings are sensitive to heat, which is why we've agreed to pay a premium for climate control units.
