First, I reserved a truck 1,6 miles from my home. The day before pickup, it was announced that I would be picking up 17 miles from my home. It was not missed that this happened at a time that made it almost impossible to find a closer truck, regardless of company or expense. When I picked the truck up, the equipment that I rented was not available. I would never recommend U- haul to my worst enemy. Fuck them. Remember that a happy customer tells few people, but an unhappy one tells the world. I am that unhappy customer!

For one there were roaches in the truck I got when I pulled back around no one was at the front to give further directions, so I proceeded on with me day when I brought the truck back I was charged another 60 $to my card????

The odometer in the truck was wrong when we picked it up (after hours so the office was closed). There's no way to change that in the online system. I took a photo, uploaded it and left a comment right away. I noted the same error when we returned the truck (on time.) Again, I took a photo and uploaded it. it made no difference. I've been charged 48 miles instead of the 16 that we actually drove. It's been over a month now, and I've tried calling multiple times but wait times are always over 30 minutes. I've sent four complaints from my Uhaul account by now and tried the chat, but got kicked out. I've yet to be reimbursed or receive a response. Totally unacceptable.

My reservation was made weeks in advance for pick up via the app at 8am. I even called to confirm this the day before. The morning of I wasn't able to pickup until the location opened at 9am. Also, there were problems w/ finding the truck & being given the correct keys. All of this delayed the start of a 6 hr trip by 2 hrs, which was very frustrating.

Took over a hour to get my storage unit. The first FOUR I WAS GIVEN HAD LOCKS ON THEM. TOOK OVER A HOUR TO START PACKING MY THINGS INTO A STORAGE CONTAINER. YES IS WAS RESERVED A DAY PRIOR AS WELL. WILL NEVER DO STORAGE THERE AGAIN AFTER TODAY.

The truck I rented was NOT logged in as returned until I went to the Location on Monday. I was charged for fuel even though it had more in it then when i picked it up. I have photos. Horrible service, cannot trust that your employees are doing their job.

Truck was unsafe. Low tire, turn signal out, multiple warning lights going off on dash, and was almost on empty when I picked it up. On top of that I got charged an additional 20 $for a night time charge because my return time was 5 a.m. TERRIBLE experience

I rented a 9 foot van, only to discover when I got to my destination to pick up my furniture that there was a broken car door in the back of the van with broken glass everywhere. When I returned the van I mentioned it to the manager who said "oh yea I put it there don't worry about it". No apology or anything just oh I left it there. Very unprofessional in my opinion. That should not be rented out to customers. What if my belongings were damaged due to the broken glass or I was injured from it. Will not be renting from this place again.

There was only one employee and we had to wait 30 minutes, the person in front of us was the one being waited on. Also we were very overcharged. We put 2 gallons of gas in the pickup. We drove 36 miles. We were charged for 4 gallons of gas on top of the 2 we bought. Either the truck only gets 6 miles per gallon or that location is being run by thieves. I would never recommend your company after this experience. And I would like my money back for the 4 gallons of gas.

I was very frustrated with the reservation system. First, when I tried to make a reservation on the website I was instructed that I would receive a code in my email to confirm the reservation. I asked for the code to be sent three times and then gave up. The next morning I found three codes sent to me at least three hours after I requested them. This meant I had three reservations. Second, the truck I reserved was not available at my requested time and location. When I picked up the truck I asked about the U-Haul 50 $guarantee and the clerk didn't know about it. Is it possible to get the 50 $credit?

The truck had an oil light on but I was told to drive it anyway. The gas was listed as 1/4 tank but I showed agent it was less than that and she didn't update the contract. As I drove out the gas level dropped to E and I had to pull I to the first gas station I could find. The truck misfires going up hills. It needs to be serviced!

Terrible communication and service. It took over 3 months months to get problems fixed that was was created by the staff. Empty promises. I have one storage left and I'm in the process getting it emptied and moved to another storage facility. I will not do business with UHAUL again.

Well had an appointment on July 30th at 12 noon, waited 1 hour 10 minutes while they were installing hitch, when they told me it was the wrong hitch, they said they would overnight it and give me a call, 3 days later no one called so I went up there to find out what was going on and à différents guy said it was the right hitch and the hitch guy put it on. My weekend was ruined do to someone that had no idea of what he was doing.

I had a horrible experience at the Golden Ring location this weekend. I went to pick up my reserved rental using the 24/7 service. The only key in the kickboxers was for a pickup that was blocked in by other pickups. Joey in customer service was very helpful and pushed my reservation to 7 AM the following morning. I arrived at the same location the next morning to find that not only was the location not opened but the employees were also waiting outside to get in. Customer service was again very helpful and moved my reservation to another location where I was able to pick up a truck immediately. Things at the North Point location went much smoother. I would have made my initial reservation at said location but they were reporting no pick up inventory online. Katrina explained that this was something that was happening lately even though they did indeed have pickups available. Hoping this can fixed for your team over at North Point. And please get those people some computer printer ink!

This review is for "T" at the 4301 Pulaski location. After a horrible experience moving from NY to MD, she was a lifesaver. Got us everything we needed with no issues. Give her a raise y'all. She goes to the end for uhaul clients. She's very thorough and doesn't miss details. Thank you so much T for your hard work and help to my wife and I.

Poor customer service! Phone contact is almost impossible. Billing sucks! Not personable at all. Shitty attitudes. Tell you one thing at facility then billing does something completely different . Then you have to spend your time trying to get reimbursed. Messed up system overall!

My experience was very disappointing. The staff at this location was not helpful and did not seem to understand how to use their reservation programs. The first person helping me typed with just two fingers and did not look at his work so I had to correct him multiple times. The saving grace to that experience was that the screen was turned outward so that I could see it. Otherwise I imagine we would have had even more issues. Then this gentleman could not find my reservation (I believe he was looking in the wrong place) and essentially made me start an entirely new one. When I reserved I was told I would have an outward facing, first floor, climate controlled unit. When I got to the space they would bot look up any record of my unit and tried to assign me to a unit that would have us going through a maze. This facility also seemed to have no security and I wouldn't trust the staff to watch one of my houseplants let alone all of my belongings. While waiting in the parking lot we witnessed domestic abuse. It became clear during this process that I would need to find a new unit. I asked the staff to help me get a later truck return time free of charge and they could bot help with this either. One person told me that because she did not make the reservation she could not look up the details. This was perplexing because I would assume any uhaul employee should have that ability. Moving has it's own stresses and emotions leaving a place I love. This experience at u-haul was so horrendous and added such unnecessary stress and lost time to our journey. For the well being of all, this facility should have some serious attention in training and security.

It's nice and clean BUT it's TOO hot in there. The temperature on the thermostat inside the storage facility rose from 87 to 88 degrees yesterday afternoon as I unloaded my trailer (Sunday, June 27). I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty. She was very nice and attempted to lower the temperature but it did not cool off. This is a serious concern being that many of the customers' belongings are sensitive to heat, which is why we've agreed to pay a premium for climate control units. Please look into this situation and ensure that it's fixed this week. Merci

I was happy with the storage unit. I was very unhappy with the truck rental. I was charged an extra day for bringing the truck back (2) hours "Late". I put a total of 11 miles on the truck. I was told that "That's the policy". "Nothing could be done about that". Not happy at all about that.

Very polite & informative @ check in desk. Officers often sit in patrol cars on lot (deterrent). Security system kicks but, very loud alarms. Climate control adds feeling that items inside will fare well. Roll carts provided free.

Everytime I opened my unit alarms went off because I was never told I had to put in my code when I went in. My unit was at the end of row the lights NEVER CAME ON did not feels safe when I was there by myself. When I said something when I closed out the unit I got " yea they are working on it". I also ask if I was getting a refund for time left that I paid for was told no.

I find the units to be a bit pricey, though that's apparently the case with all units in this area. But I can't fault the staff or the units themselves. And there's an excellent pupuseria and grocery in the same parking lot!

Staff was very good overall. Katrina did a great job. I had multiple units over several months and didn't have any issues or concerns. Rented a 26 foot truck which worked well and was clean. Have not always been able to say this about Uhaul, but great job. I will use you again when the need arises.

Would never recommend this location to anyone, I place my belongings in storage in March to go back to take it out and so many things are missing. Some very sentimental and can't be replaced, Worse experience with a storage facility

Young girl with long dark hair locked up 30 mins early so she could eat her meal then was rude about helping me, she was busy eating I was inconvenient for her. Poor customer service.

I'm 62 yrs old and I'm disabled on my right side of my body and I wasn't aware of the storage unit set up i rented a small unit and I was told that I would have to get a top unit and would have to use a ladder to put my things in the unit because that's the only one that was available but when I finished I noticed a lot of units that had the same tag that was the one I rented costumer ready I didn't go back to the office to complain but I will know better next time thank you for your time

Only one complaint: The alarm that sounds frequently in the facility is way too loud. Is that really necessary? Otherwise so far so good.
