The lady that helped me was good. She got everything ready for me quickly and had no problems with her but the back tile of the trailer were almost flat. I had to fill them up. They were down to 15psi. The other thing is when ever I call this location for help or to book a rental they NEVER pick up the phone. I've call all different times of the day and I get the same result. No answer. Other then that the rats for the rental is ok

The on-line checkin was very cumbersome. The ancillary equipment was either not available (seriously?? I booked the furniture dolly weeks ahead!) or was out of repair (2 flat tires in the utility dolly!) I still paid for it though.

Sunny was of great help since it was my first time of using the Uhaul service. He explained everything well and even helped with taking off the snow from the van when we signed it out. Definitely recommend this location.

It took 3 trucks to get it right. One was parked behind 5 vehicles, second one a tire was low on air. The vehicles were snow covered. The vehicle should be brought to the customer in the front not to go searching in the back. Employees were courteous and helpful.

Staff was very helpful and patient with my lack of knowledge of technology. Paper receipts were quickly offered, etc. Although not needed here, it is usually a good idea to take your own pictures of the truck when you pick up and return it. Just good old fashioned advice.

I told my wife I was renting from uhaul - she said “don't. The price is always more than they quote”. I insisted. She was right. I'm upset that you gauged me on your gas reading and bitter that you made me wrong.

Mouse poop in the storage unit, no communication with staff, difficult to speak to someone and even if you did, they rarely followed through with what they said they would. It was a terrible experience. I will never recommend Uhaul again.

Third time that I had to go over an hour away to pick up a truck/trailer when I picked Milton as the pick up spot. I would recommend next time having a truck brought to a closer spot for pick up.

Got my truck midday instead of morning. Had to drive back 60 km next day to drip off at the pick up location instead of the originally booked location (same happened to my friend) I booked in uhaul because of the choice for the drop off locations and they failed. No mention of the gas type (gas/diesel)on the contract or in the office, so had to drop off without refilling and got charged 1.5 times more for the fuel + $30 service fee.

Very disappointing when you book online and reserve and pay for moving blankets and when you arrive at your location to pick up your rental vehicle I was told sorry first come first serve. No blankets ... I do not recommend to anyone U-Haul....

I was put on hold for 55 minutes than hung up on Trying to get ahold of someone to talk to at this location is terrible. While I was at this location the employees just watch the phone ring and don't pick it up. I brought this issue up to the receptionist at the counter. She claims the phone calls are branched out

-you charged for fuel. I picked up the van from the rear lot. It indicated half. I added 8 litres dupe to travel 60km. I returned it to back lot where it indicated half tank. I took a picture. I discussed it with your employee. He advised that there would not be a charge. Your stealing money from your clients. 25$ cleaning fee?? The van was disgusting when I picked it up. I will never from you again and advise my friends and family that you are a bunch of thieves.

Excellent drop off at the end of the day. Drove up as a guy was coming out. Looked right over the truck and came back in within a few moments with it all on the tablet so I didn't have to wait in line (only reason there was a line was because of a totally Karen). Thanks for everything!

After hours return was not identified, and after calling in to identify trailer left at location at 07:00 opening time, a second day was charged. This is unfair.

It's nearly impossible to speak to someone on the phone unless you have extreme patience. 9 times out of 10, I was on hold so long that it transferred me to the U.S.A. Also, the locks are very hard to open after a few months, took nearly 1 hr to open a few times. It's a good thing I didn't go in it often.

Due to Covid precautions, the line was particularly long. A 35 minute wait impeded my overseeing the move and the truck return. We were within the safety zone of returning it. Uhaul did a good job keeping customers calm throughout the process. Thanks!

Had my reservation and when confirming they said I couldn't drop off truck at my destination. It was a one way rental. I was left on phone for 15 mins only to have someone new. Wanted to charge me another one way fee to drop off. 3 people later I was told I could drop off at original destination with no extra charge. Not a good experience this time.

I was charged $60 for a couple scratches in the CARGO BED AREA!! They were a couple inches long and the width of a pencil head.Not gouges scratches!! So anybody that makes the choice to use this location before warned.

Did not have the equipment I reserved - I needed an appliance dolly and the website allowed me to book one, but when I arrived I was told there wasn't one. Can't rely on you.

We were set to rent a 26ft truck from the royal Windsor location (reserved weeks ago) had our help lined up, 20 min before our pick up they called to say they didn't have our 26ft truck but could offer us a cargo van or pick up. We explained that we were moving a 4 bedroom house and neither of those would work.. the girl informing us (from royal Windsor drive) was sitting there tapping her pen in the background as we were left to fend for ourselves. We called the scheduling centre and they were able to locate a truck for us.. farther away but it was the size we need. Would recommend the Queensway location, will NEVER deal with Royal Windsor again.. very poor customer service.. they never offered to try to help us.. just do you want the cargo van or pick up truck

We made an online reservation (truck, 1 furniture dolly, and 1 regular dolly) but at the time of pick up, there was no furniture dolly because they have a first come first serve policy, so what's the point of making a reservation?? they don't mention that policy during the reservation process. In the end, no option/solution was given to us, so we opted to buy a furniture dolly, asking for a discount given the situation, but the answer was no. My feeling is that they don't care about the customers, and the customer service is very poor. I suggest you to choose a different company, or pick up your equipment VERY early to avoid this kind of issues.

Originally we were scheduled to pick up a 15 foot truck from the Dundas location in Mississauga. We arrived only to find out that our truck was not available. When I said to the staff it's unfair for us to be stuck without a vechicle when we have to move that day I was given the following response “life is not fair” by the lady who assisted us. She then diverted us to Etobicoke where we were unable to rent all the pieces of equipment that were initially ordered. While the staff in Etobicoke were more helpful than those in Mississauga it was overall a very stressful experience to have this happen to us on the day of our move. We ended up delayed as a consequence. I am still quite upset by how unprofessional the customer service was at the first location.

My reservation was changed last minute and as such I had to drive the truck back from Ajax. This is extremely inconvenient. I'm not sure why the change had to happen. t part of the reason why I rented and paid was for the convenience.

They then asked us to connect the trailer and do the inspection photos even through there was no other customers. The place is normally okay with a great guy helping with trailers, but I think they had no experienced employees that day.

My experience with the storage option at 1472 The Queensway was among the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. I was offered a free first month as I usually am with my reservations, given the fact that I have a corporate account. When I took the offer the sales associate confirmed this with me at the time the first month would be free and proceeded to process the transaction. Only after I was all moved in called me to tell me that there had been a mistake. They subsequently threatened to “cut the lock if I did not return to the store and dispose of all my items.” They had called me after hours to tell me this! The store closed at 7:00pm on Wednesday and they called me at 7:45pm after I had already gotten to my house and returned the truck! Completely inappropriate on behalf of U-Haul especially consider I spend thousands of dollars every month renting equipment from this company and this exact location! They then proceeded to steal a total of $271.49 from me by charging my account without authorization! What kind of organization does that! I am taking further action and will consider strongly closing my account with U-Haul at the end of the month after I’ve fulfilled all my business obligations.

Trying to get a hold of someone to close my contract was an awful process. The general manager did not respond to any of my emails and I could not get through by phone. Uhaul should not have an online move out portal if I you’re just going to make customers go in to the facility in person. The whole process made me not want to use uhaul again as it caused a ton of unnecessary stress.

The staff truly incompetent. Obtaining initial access took very long because staff didn't know how to use their system. Keys were given to anyone who asked, pointless security. Now boycotting U-Haul.
