I would highly reccomend that large vehicles being rented be parked facing outward. This would reduced the likelihood of rear-end vehicle damage when backing out of the parking lot. It would also serve as a sight based indicator as to which of your vehicles had been inspected and evaluated as available for use. Vehicles being returned would be parked facing inward and this would automatically flag them as "returned and awaiting inspection".Christopher S.

Imagine with - 20c outside, coldest day of the year, and I the customer has to go through a lot looking for a frozen van. Then inspect the van from a picture that was a brand new van and it's not indicative of the van I am picking up. Sat in a frozen van fro 20 minutes to thaw out the windshield. Then paying 0,69 cents per Km is purely gauging. Where the hell is the customer service.Francesco C.

I received excellent customer service from the staff at The Queensway location. I also liked the booking process (I called in) and the follow up via text and your app at the end was impressive. At pick up the truck was buried under 3 feet of snow and I was handed a shovel and told to dig it out myself. The cab stunk and had garbage from the previous renter. When dropping the truck after hours I had to climb through 8 feet of 3 foot deep snow to drop the key in the drop box. I get it, it snowed, but the fundamental parts of a truck rental business weren't even attempted to be maintained so they were usable for customers and the staff took a â€œyour problem, not mineâ€ attitude.Nicholas G.

I liked the customer service provided, especially Cassey who managed to attend us when we had the service denied at first because we had an international driver's license. But she made it possible and saved our day! The staff were very friendly overall. I think the charges could be made more clear we thought that we would only pay $19,00 but we realized that there were mileage fees, which was okay but it was not clear when we saw the ads. Only problem was they cancel your online order and then re-enter an order in the store. I presented my driver's license and online order reference number, and they told me they couldn't locate my order, however, after they print out the order confirmation it shows my new address on it, they wouldn't know my new address if they can't see my online order because my driver's license hasn't been updated yet, and I saw they did the same to other customers as well. Originally I reserved a van online at 666 Burnhamthorpe location & when I arrived at my scheduled time the van was not available because it had a flat tire and no one even called to let me know!!! Wasted my time going there and obviously threw me off scheduled. I had to call U-Haul 1-800 # and they found me another van at 1472 The Queensway location which was out of my way but better than nothing I guess. Anyways the employee at this location was quick & super helpful.Daniela R.

This review is based on the excellent customer service provided by Perry. When I came in to drop of the truck he greeted with me a friendly manner and accompanied me to the truck. He checked the truck and found some personal belongings I forgot. The hand off process was perfect. The morning staff could emulate Perry Nikolov in his service excellence mindset. If I had to do the online check out or was charged the convenience fee I would have given a one or two star review.Malinga M.

My original receipt showed my reservation beginning at 06:30 with the 24/7 app. However, when I showed up 10-15 minutes early as was recommended on the website, I discovered my booking changed to 9AM with pick up at the desk. This wasted 2,5 hours of my day. Then, when I went to return the truck using the after hours app, it kept restarting every time I uploaded a photo. It appears the app could not be used by any of the android devices we had but only an iOS device.CONOR C.
My reservation got changed from 1 way to same place return without any communication in advance. Uhaul just gave me extra milage to drive back which I don't need at all. I'm moving to another city and it just took me two extra hours to drive.Jim Z.

I made track and doliy reservation 10 days ago,when I came to pick up the truck they just said we don't have dolly...they don't care about customer reservation....If I made reservation they should have it otherwise I don't see what the purpose of booking.Very bad service.ZELJKO S.

The staff was very attentive and explained the policies and rates well. While serviceable, the vehicle I rented had over 75 000 kilometres on the clock and the suspension was very rough. The fee for almost three hour rental is competitive with other providers, but I hope that the next time I use Uhaul at this location I will be able to receive a newer vehicle.LOUISL N.

When a customer reserves a CARGO VAN in advance, one should be available to the as they requested. Twice in five days I reserved a cargo van and when I went to pick it up, I was told that I would have to use a truck instead because there aren't any cargo vans available. When I reserved a dolly, I was told upon pick up that dollies are available on a first come first serve basis. What is the point of having to make a â€˜secure reservation' if the reservation isn't actually secure? I am not at all impressed with the way this location is run.TAI-SEAN S.

Reserved a pickup. As soon as I entered the store, Casey welcomed me and checked me in. Within 5 minutes, everything was ready and she walked me to the pickup. Since the pickup had snow at the back, Casey even wiped the snow off my pickup so everything's clean and I can load stuff at the back without being worried about it getting damaged. Uhaul wasn't clean there was dirt all over the front cab & a bunch in the back, I swept it before I used it! Customer service this morning was garbage, I did not appreciate the way the associate was talking to me took me over 30 minutes today to get the pick up. Which all the associate had to do was give me the key as I did the whole check in over the web which that took me about 10 minutes which is longer than normal as well!!Kate-Lynn J.
The truck was parked very close to two other trucks. To put it succinctly, getting the truck out of the parking spot was a difficult task. On top of that, there was no room to pull the truck out of the storage lineup, so it took me 15 minutes just to get the truck out of the parking lot. I would appreciate it if someone from the staff brought the truck from the back to the front for the customer to use, as not everyone is a parking clerk.Himanshu B.

Hi - the picture on the website does not match the storage units. I wanted a drive up but you have trucks parked down the middle of every aisle making it extremely difficult to get my car in and impossible to back up into it. It was difficult to find anyone to ask for help. I did eventually and he was very nice but it was extremely confusion and instructions didn't match what i had to do.sarah c. | Online Move In
