Email confirmation upon return should be faster. Just returned a van 5 minutes ago and still havent received an email. Minor thing though.
Vehicle was dirty, inside and out, water bottle on floor and someone's jacket. Return was quick but did not even verify kms, and have not received confirmation of billing yet!
Charged a late drop off fee, even though the equipment was returned 18 hours early. Thats not right. I;ve dropped off trailers, many times, at other locations and have never been charged such a fee.

We waited a full HOUR to rent a van we pre-ordered! There were only 2 agents working at the time, and of them may have had the worst customer service personalities Iâ€™ve ever encountered. Staffing needs to be addressed at this location ASAP, or the only thing left to happen is closure.
You should have more staff on the weekend. The line was too long and it took me 30 minutes to pick the car because only one staff was working. June is a very nice staff who dealt me on the return. She is a pleasant person.

The check in process is exceptionally slow. You offer online check-in, but it still takes far too long once at the location. Waiting 20 minutes to get a truck is excessive; we were still expected to bring it back within 4 hours of when we booked it, not when we actually got the truck.
trailer was dirty and pins were difficult to remove
There were only 2 employees working a Saturday morning that was a first of the month so the wait was long. A woman was allowed to jump the line because she had â€œalready checked inâ€ but everyone in line had also already checked in and protested loudly. I reserved 2 dollies and a bag of pads but was told these were first come first serve and they were all out. Why can you reserve them when they are not reservable?? I would have made other arrangements if I had known. The truck I was given was filthy. There was old spilled coffee, a huge amount of dog hair, half a bag of spilled chips on the floor. It was very dirty. The check engine light was on and the truck did not sound right. I was amazed I made it to and from my destination. The woman who actually helped me was really nice though.
After spending over 90 minutes in the two weeks previous to our booking, finding and ensuring we had a location that could supply the needed, 2 furniture dollies, 1 utility dolly and blankets I was extremely frustrated to find out our order wouldn't be honoured. After making the reservation, moving it two times to locations that assured me (by phoning the actual location not the 1-888 #) and then getting there to find that they had no needed equipment was infuriating. We had a piano to move and needed those items. Then we had to waste an hour while the staff phoned other locations and I tried to get head office (the main #) to have a supervisor release two furniture dollies that were for sale into the location's rental stock. No solution was found by the Uhaul staff and to say I was shocked is an understatement. If a customer books equipment then that equipment should be put in the vehicle that morning to ensure it's ready and waiting for them. What the heck is Uhaul expecting sets them apart from renting anywhere else? If it's bad service you achieved that. I will not be renting from you again and that's a shame since we book a large number of vehicles for music industry events. I will also be sharing widely on social media my experience and utter disappointment. My partner and I both work in the service industry and I know for a fact it the staff had release two dollies that were purchase stock into you rentals you'd have recouped that $60 cost in rentals 50x's over. In the 2 weeks every location I'd called about those dollies said they hadn't had any in months. Clearly you are understocked for your customer needs. Just not a good service experience at all.
Hidden fees, U-Haul representative not friendly, dirty van
The truck leaked therefore we had to wrap everything in plastic.
Quick pick up, excellent customer service, truck was as expected and great operating condition. If I had to say one thing, I was scheduled to pick up at 9AM, got there a bit early and wasnâ€™t able to complete my online registration until 9AM. No issues really though. Multi time customer and Iâ€™ll be back!
The lady who checked me out was very nice. Paul was a tremendous help at check out & check in! Heâ€™s a great person and helped expedite things!!

I think it would be better if the vehicle was full of fuel when rented and returned Heading for a gas station as soon as you pick up your truck isn't my idea of fun

If the trucks come in damaged or not. they should be thoroughly inspected. The representative who assigned the truck to me did not bother doing a proper pre trip inspection of the truck with me. When i got home i realized the the top of the cab cargo area floor was soaked with water and the edges on the bottom area were as well. Turns out i could see the sky from the front 2 corners of the truck because there were decent size holes. I wiped away the water with a towel and boxes were still damaged because of the long drive. I reserved a 20ft truck for a reason because i need the space for my stuff. There only solution was to come in an switch it out for a smaller one... but i need the big truck. Ive rented a couple times and so has my brother and parents. Between us always helping each other move we have rented about 15 times in past 5 to 6 years, this was the worst experience we had. I should have known better to inspect it myself but i figured the expierience is always good and never have issues... but thats with a different location. This was my first and last time for uhaul queensway.
The van I got had bald to no tread tyres. Canâ€™t believe you could not care about maintaining you vehicles which are the reason for your business. I got stuck in snow because of them and it was very risky to drive them. Despite my feedback you have not tried to contact me. This shows how much you care about your customers. I will not recommend uhaul to anyone ever.
The cargo van I rented had Arizona plates and summer tires. I had to move my daughter in a snow storm and I cannot stress enough how inadequate the tires were. I had to be pushed out twice. Everytime you touched the gas, the back of the van went sideways. It got stuck in the snow while returning to the dealer. I parked it and walked away in disgust. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should van be rented in winter conditions with those tires on it. You are inviting disaster!
