This was my worst experience I've had with Uhaul and I've had several rentals over the years. Customer service was the worst! Your cargo van was rented to me was dirty. There was white pet hair all over both Seats,food and candy pieces on the floor around the seat base the cargo van smelled of a foul manure smell. Smelled like a farm yard. You check out process is ridiculous!!!!!!! Wasted my time preregistering online because it says it will make things faster no it did not! They went asked for all the same Information I already entered in the preregisteration . What is the point of pre registering ? It was pointless amd a waste of time!With your new policy customers have to document and upload photos from their phone before they leave the premise or you take responsibility for damages, cleanliness, mileage and gas recorded. I was able to log in to the WiFi you offer at your store but your application was Not an easy process at ALL!!!!! You forgot to factor technical difficulties!!!!! I spent close to an hour trying to get the the information to upload and the photos would not upload and it would Continue to time out and I had to restart the whole thing again. I asked if there was anything they could Do to help they told me “ No there is not sorry you have to call the 800 number”There was no manager to speak To I did call the 800 number ans had to hold forever before a representative picked up. I was so upset I did not have all this time time to I spend doing this not to mention the frustration it Caused! I've already started spreading the word not to go to this location to my friends and family this is the worst Uhaul location ever!!!!!

I've been moving my family from a three bedroom house into a four bedroom house 250 miles away for the last month. Three trips in a 20 foot, 17 foot, and 15 foot trucks and four van trips. U-Haul has been great. They dealt with one truck issue swiftly and professionally, and the moving help vendors (on both ends) when we have used them have been easy to schedule, fast, and professional. Probably saved 25 % over a moving co. and was way more flexible. Never want to do it again, but U- Haul was great.

I was told to refill the gas to the level it was at when I picked up the vehicle. I thought this was weird, as you would think the vehicle would be full of fuel when you picked it up! The U-Haul staff failed to tell me that the fuel gauge is not accurate when filling up the truck it took about 3-5 minutes to register the correct fuel level. Therefore, I filled up the truck to the level that I picked it up at, and then 3-5minutes later the gas gauge continued to rise and I ended up putting in 3/4's of a tank of fuel instead of putting it below the half full mark This meant I spent 110,00 $ and I probably should have only spent about 50,00 $ tp 75,00 $. U-Haul refused to reimburse me anything. I believe it is a ploy to get people to put more fuel in the vehicles than they are required to do. The vehicles should be filled up when renting a vehicle that way when you return the vehicle, you return it full of gas.

The equipment was clean when I picked it up and the lights worked properly when they were checked. The lights work on the trailer as long as the running lights do not receive power. And because I picked up the trailer in the daytime I was unaware of the issue. I drove about 700 miles during the night with no lights. I replaced the fuse in my wiring harness many times and would only get a few minutes until the fuse popped. This rental was more expensive than the rental of a 26' truck with a car hauler that I rented 2,5 weeks earlier. Where can I address this issue. I believe that a refund is in order.

The windshield on van was cracked. I went in and notified a worker that it was. He looked it up and said it was noted and I was good. When I returned it to Red Bluff, the guy noticed the crack and was going to charge me for it, had I not had a picture. Seems like a scam. Also, van had garbage in it from previous renters.

Stood in line for over 30 minutes before getting helped even though there was only two people ahead of me. Paperwork had to be redone because the truck they assigned to me and rented to me was not on the premises because it had been given to another person accidentally instead of their truck. Truck I received was in poor condition, cracked windshields and inoperative lights. Dirty on the outside. Customer service has went downhill significantly in last two years.

All though the moving truck I had reserved was not at the designated location due to the previous renters fault. Uhaul through there excellent agents upgraded the truck and located it at the next nearest Uhaul location.

Pretty good service ,my only issue is I may have a hold ony debit card . I am not 100 percent sure it was U-Haul but all the charges besides U-Haul do not hold any money like U-Haul does. Now I can't figure out why the money isn't there and there is no record of it being used🙁

Corporate U-Haul's policies have run the company into the ground. The only thing U-HAUL has going for it, are a few hardworking individuals on the front lines dealing with customers who despise your corporate policies. Get a clue and stop being money hoarding CEOs.

The vehicle was not safety checked ahead nor was the cab clean, found a drivers license from a past renter. When we packed we saw a hole in truck bed. Took picture to prove it was there. We discovered when we reached definition we had received a truck with tire tread problems. The missing tire tread was how the hole got there to begin with. The employee checking truck at return noted issue and it was evident this happened some time ago and was not a fresh problem. First time using Uhaul. We were told later we should have done a walk around with employee when receiving the truck. Basically were handed keys and told “its good to go”. Sadly it wasn't and am thankful we didn't have a tire blow ( yes it was that bad).

The worker here confirmed my email and said I would get my receipt via email, but it never came. I would like my receipt… I think this was a computer issue because the worker had my correct email and was very helpful.

Upon returning my open, 5x9 trailer, a 15 $cleaning fee was added to my total bill. Luckily, the associates allowed me to take 4 minutes to hand sweep out plant debris and a small amount of dirt that had more than likely simply blew into the trailer while I was driving. The fee was then removed. Please be more clear what "dirty" is when returning equipment. Surely, a cleaning job that takes less than 5 min to perform should not be subject to a 15 $cleaning fee.

The site seemed short handed at pick-up time (9:30 a.m.) The drop-off took an extra long time due to poor internet connectivity on the employee's cell phone! This needs to be addressed, in my opinion. The overall experience was just “OK”. Not 5 Star that's for sure.

When I arrived with the truck and explained about the tire, the manager refused to see me about it leaving me to deal with an hourly worker whose only response was, "Well, I can't do anything about that," and, "You shouldn't have put air in the tire." The whole experience with U-haul was, again, frustrating and disappointing, full of issues which u-haui personal refuse to address.

this truck rental and storage rental went smooth no issues , very helpful , it was the 2nd trip/truck rental and storage rental screw up that i wont refer anyone , you can not refer anyone when you are counting on the storage , made the reservation and after speaking to corporate 4 times , finsing my storage was deleted on there end ...cant count on trucks or storage when you reserve .

Very happy with the unit, but even with a reservation, was told there was no unit available. They kept looking and found the one I had reserved was not prepared for a new tenant, but thankfully rented it to me anyway since urgently needed. I was very unhappy with the online closure process. Only allowed one pic to be uploaded while requesting 3 and still sent me an email reminder of payment due after I had sent in the closure info....you could use some IT updates! getting in and out of location was sometimes difficult. due to parking of trucks and other storage options. there were 2 times in just a couple months where I had to go to office to have them move stuff so I could get out with my truck and trailer. other than that I would very much rent again

My only reason for 4 star is that I was told twice from two different agents when I picked up the truck and returned it that the reservation I had for a storage unit was not available. When I objected they checked more carefully and saw it still needed to be cleaned but the cleaning was minimal and I insisted we would accept it as is. It was the very last unit and I desperately needed it. Thank you, Uhaul. I had a great experience in the long run.

My move from Colorado to California under rather stressful circumstances was rather difficult but when I came to check in my trailer so that I could get the truck unloaded, I was met by Shannon. She was so friendly and helpful . The facility did not have the 10x15 unit I reserved and at this time, there wasnt even a 10x10 , so a 20' truck packed to the brim couldnt be unloaded. Sol was helping me in the office and remembered someone had moved out without checking out. He contacted the people regarding the unit and success! He went above and beyond customer service. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and more than willing to help with my situation. I've used Uhaul before and will use it again. Merci

in these days is a virus staff was helpful and friendly as possible. Check-in went relatively smoothly although there is a waiting line because the virus once again. The card lock that they have instead of punching in numbers is awesome. And the storage units look almost new I even had one with a freshly painted floor

everyone was helpful The trailer was in good shape and clean. The u-haul phone system seems to be confusing. When you call the local dealer listed on the web site you get routed to u-haul central office.
