LIDA CIt took 40 minutes to 'verify' my identity via the awful app. During the wait, the facility helped other persons who were behind me in line. the truck had 1/10 of a tank of fuel and the 'low fuel' warning was flashing as soon as I left the lot. I couldn't even drive to my site. When I arrived, I noticed a padlock on the back roll door but no key for the padlock could be found. I called the facility and they told me to drive back to the UHaul site to retrieve the key I told them they need to come to me. We had to leave the truck in a lot and get a second truck to begin moving supplies. All in, I lost 1-2 hours of time for a 5 person crew. Thus I acrued 2 hours overtime labor charges.This is the second day in a row of awful service from U-Haul. Your response- $50 credit on my account. You shouldn't bill me at all.
RANDY TFor answers not given I didn't feel I should give a negative comment, but I still was not completely satisfied. The storage unit was a good size, but could have used a bit more lighting. I feel the price was very high and continued to go up with no changes made for customer's convenience.

ERNEST WThese U-haul trucks are kinda old and towards at the end of my trip the check engine light came on in the truck and the truck started to make a noise. I think they need newer trucks or at least fully looked over and repaired.

Willie WThe only problem i had was I paid for the equipment until Sunday and was charged an extra day for it. it wasn’t confirmed upon pick up that it had to be brought back before 9am Sunday morning. i was under the impression that i paid for Sunday until close. i paid it without confrontation because i will use this store again. pretty sure no one will care though.

FRANCOIS CEvery one of the facility staff is courteous and professional. They extend themselves to assist the customers. The facility is clean and orderly. Kudos to the crew at Farmingdale!

ALEJANDRO AThere should be two ways of purchasing a U-haul truck not just using the app because that app freezes especially when it’s trying to verify the customer’s, it should be the customer’s choice to either use the app or go in the store and purchase a rental equipment.

KENNETH JHad a hard time with the rental. My truck could not be found. I was issued a different truck with less gas but reciet showed that gas was more based on original truck which I did not get. I was then charged gas even though I returned truckbwith more than I drove away with. Not to mention with keys for original truck not there it took almost an extra hour to get rental.

Steve RI'd love if all the trucks were the upgraded to the same ones. The truck I had did not have cruise control nor did it feel as comfortable to drive as the previous two trucks I rented (all the trucks I've rented have been 15' ft)
JOSHUA AI reserved a van. It was confirmed on the app. Upon arrival, I checked in on the app. I approached the employee and when I told him I had a van reserved he shrugged his shoulders and said "we're out". I asked about other vehicles on the property until he put me in a 10 foot truck that had just been returned. I got it with the gas light on. After returning the vehicle, I wasn't checked back in just told to use the app. No help. No guidance. The employee already had the key so I couldn't go back to take the necessary pictures. Absolutely awful process. Will never use this location again.

Robin IThe truck and trailer were not ready at my pick up time even though I had gone there 4 days prior to make certain all would go smoothly. It did not and the truck had wipers that were worn out so the rain could not be properly cleaned off making driving very difficult. The dash board kept shiwing a check engine light that came on and went off making our trip a stressful driving not knowing if we might get stuck

Wilbert BJordan was very professional. Nice kid ! However, I've been renting trucks, from Uhaul, for a while now and this is the first time I did NOT feel safe, in the vehicle, but I drove it anyway, yes. ...and what's with the snakes on the truck? Lol
William MIt took me some time on the phone with two different people to get a new drop off location as the one I was supposed to use was closed at noon. I had parked the truck on a residential street overnight and received a $180 parking ticket for parking a commercial vehicle on the street so wasn't happy in the first place. The drop,off was fine. One person there and he took care of the checkin and got me on my way. I have moved my kids twice with a 26' truck pulling a car trailer each time nd then this nd this is by far the worst.

It was and I did indeed measure, it was 9,5x9,4x6 and the floor was made of wood and my things were damaged. No elevators, but had the nerve to have a second floor. Whomever built this storage unit only had money in mind, not the consumer needs.

Calling over the phone is so tiring that one may have to listen to music anywhere from 30 - 60 minutes, listening to the same advertisement stuff time and time again !!! Once it started moving, it was perfectly OK.

As we had never rented before they took the time to walk us through how to get in, where to park and answered any questions that we had. While the facility itself was in good condition, our unit has 2 large holes. 1 in the side of the wall and 1 in the ceiling. For the price we pay per month I would've liked a unit that was fully secure without holes.

There was a lock on the storage room it took two hours before someone was able to drill into the lock so could move my belongs in. This storage room was confirmed three weeks before I showed up 2/11/22. Extremely unprofessional staff. Non caring attitude. One staff member smelled like he had been smoking weed. Over all terrible experience

Moving can be very stressful and the team there went above and beyond to accommodate me. I rented a truck to move my belongings from my storage unit. The truck was ready as soon as i got there, checking out was a breeze. It was a pleasure to work with this manager and his team.

Plus the gate can't stay open so if you're moving a lot in and out, that will be annoying as you have to keep swiping your access card. This particular location doesn't do a great job parking the trucks that come in so there is always a truck blocking the entrance.

Very bad experience at the plano facility

She said she couldn't give us a key to use the storage but when she finished with the line of people she would open it for us. Essentially we rented a storage area but couldn,t use it. Everone was complaining and talking about never using you again. I was furious . Where was MR Ryan Nedd. So many other problems occurred. I was furious and exhausted I want you to know I never complain because of many reasons. Worried about the potential damage it could cause Maybe I don't understand what was really happenning. But this experience from the moment I decided to use "U Haul" was so outrageous .
