The tow trailer we rented had a flat tire due to a nail/screw was imbedded into the tire. While I did not see it when the truck n trailer was picked up, it was later identified when we got to our location. The nail had been marked/identified prior to my pick as it was marked with white paint. The x next day, we called for assistance and ended up waiting almost three, The tire should have been repaired to my pickup, yet it was released Un repaired .Steven R.

I had an online pick up and drop off, so i drop.off by my phone, and the guy was so rude, because i did what the app told me to do, and he yelled at me that i needed to park where it says. Because they need to clean it. I DROP OFF THE TRUCK CLEAN EVEN I RECEIVED THE BACK OF THE TRUCK ALL DIRTY. he verified the truck and he didnt even looked at me when he saw it so clean, he just low his head and closed the truck. I went and picked up my uhaul at the designated pick location that uhaul picked. Upon picking it up at 330 the gentleman said he cannot give me the van due to a â€œSmithâ€ reservation later that night at 8pm. Uhaul overbooked me. They gentleman could not help me so I had to call uhaul. I eventually spoke to someone that changed my reservation to another location which she didn't even tell me she just transferred the phone to the girl which had no idea what was going on. I picked up the van which had hair all over and smelled like someone just went to the bathroom on the seat. As well as the van did not have any oil and was not taken care of. I will not recommend uhaul and they should look for better customer service and service.Mario L.

Communicate that you don't have trucks available when you make a reservation instead of waiting until the person arrives for a truck & being told that there's no truck for you when you get to your original pickup location only to be sent to 2 other locations.Tamia F.

Rented 10 Foot truck and drove a total Of 5 miles and they charged me for 2 gallons of gas when at return, the check in person said all good and we'll email you a receipt. There was NO mention of any difference in the gas gauge from start to finish! There is no way 5 miles used 2 gallons!Richard K.

Uhual personal who checked me in was rude to a customer, and responded at times like, he doesn't want to be at work. Customer service is the best thing to bring joy to any customer. the supervisor had an attitude kind of rude I got the truck cause a miracle that I made change his mind first of all he was telling me there is no trucks and I told him that I saw the truck thru the app showing that was available a mission he said I can't give it to you if you not return it at this location and then I told him I need it for 6 hrs he putted only for 2 hours I had to call costumer service to get change the return time bad costumer service at this locationLarry R.
Employees were not professional in the least bit. One made me wait while she ordered food for her kids at home. It would be so nice if you guys purchased those generic Amazon backup cameras. These vehicles are gas guzzlers but on top of that it's very dangerous reversing these trucks it would be wise to prevent accidents to purchase a $40 Amazon back up cameraGlenn F.

Well I have not met the staff at this location but I am certain that because of the fact that they help me out of a tough spot by allowing roadside assistance to bring my trailer and store they are full of all my worldly possessions while I got my truck fixed at the mechanics I have to assume that they are just as pleasant and courteous and professional as the Pompano Beach location. I think them for their assistance.Conrad G.
Pick-up in the morning with Fred was quick and easy as was drop off later in the afternoon. Since the last time I rented a truck from this location they've suggested a feature of asking you to photograph the dashboard before leaving and again when bringing the truck back. This proved useful because the customer who had rented the truck prior to me apparently had not put fuel in prior to returning it. Kevin (the intake coordinator) saw that I had only driven a total of 12 miles and even though I had put fuel in just before I returned it and since there was a discrepancy in how much fuel he expected to see on the gauge he checked my photo that I took before leaving in the morning and saw that I had indeed brought the truck back with more fuel than I left with. That picture taking is a VERY good idea.Anthony V.

I had a great experience with both my pick up and drop off locations, however, the customer service on the main line (1-800-GO-UHAUL) and the reservations line were very rude and unhelpful. Somebody changed our truck from a 20 ft to a 26ft and when I was working on updating, both lines sent me back and forth to one another and were extremely rude. It wasn't until I got to the actual pick up location that I received GREAT customer service.Christopher N.

Fantastic facility !! I rented there 10+ years ago and remembered that Wiltom manors UHaul.I let them know that there was dog hair all over the seats and cab floor. I drove 300 miles sneezing and congested since I have allergies with dogs. It was a miserable 300 miles !!James C.

this second time in week i did rent from your nasty company and you need so much to be real company . as i ask for someone in the higher management to contact me @ 772 324 9223 you never did last week and i have feeling you will never do now . .i know all you care about is to turn truck out to rent with out maintain them . . but trust me am going with my story all over social media as i see so many story like mine . .. because you want to be in renting business you can rent van or truck with nail in tier because you don't check them all you care to rent them from one person to another. and to cheap to check windshield wiper so when driving at night trying to clean the windshield to see the wiper so old will makes it eorth ,... and list goes on and on ...... and going to report t u_haul to state off Florida .simon S.

I think the first and major thing is to hire a new staff. When I picked up my rental I was told as with any other rental to return it with same amount of gas. He told me it had a half tank. When I was pulling out. I noticed the gas was on empty. I also took a photo. I put $40 in the cargo van. And returned it with over a quarter tank. Well above with it started with. And i also took another photo. Yet when I get the final bill. I was charged yet another $30 for gas. Which I think is wrong on your company's part. When I spoke with the guy about the charge. He refused to listen to me. Nor did he care to look at the photos.Larry S.

Kevin the return check in agent was very good at his job. Meanwhile two other employees a young lady ) the one that checked me in when I picked up the van was having a loud heated argument with another male Employee. He was bagging blankets. I walked over and Asked if they We're ok - the male blame her - He Said go check him In - she said one second But I was already been helped by Kevin. Kevin was very Apologetic and embarrassed. Customer service. I requested a pick up location in Davie, FL for 5/2/2022. But the day before I get an email that I was confirmed a pick up location in Wilton Manors. Why was that truck not transferred to the location I picked. I reserved the truck almost 2 weeks in at advance. To drive from Davie to St. Petersburg. Just having to spend money on Uber from Davie to Wilton manors and the extra mileage and gas, Not to mention I was told to either go to the other location or cancel the reservation. Was not a good feeling Renting a truck from St. Petersburg to Davie round trip was less expensive then this 1 way trip. The tow/Uhaul light was on and rep. did not know how to turn it off .Annie S.

While my experience with Harry and his team at 5-points was excellent. Uhaul in general has a dismal track record with me. In this latest episode, I had reserved a truck weeks ago for my scheduled move . I flew in from Tampa to pick up the truck was told there are no trucks available only when was in Fort Lauderdale. I have used Uhaul for the last 15 years. But this time I got surprised! I rented a truck and storage!Talk to Sabrina on phone about all the details. I found my storage really dirty with lots black mulch debris and no AC climate room as I asked! So I didn't have choice, because there wasn't other storage available! Today wasn't the best trip for me to this store. Though we got the job done, the journey to rent was awful. To be short, a problem in the system resulted in about 18 taps, insertions, and swipes of two separate pay cards along with some failed manual input attempts. I was left emotional after 45 mins of that torture, a trip to the atm, and a friendly 10-min grace window to pay after normal store hours. I'm glad I didn't have to change locations. Also glad I didn't blow up. Jareth, please be a bit more sensitive to customers feelings and stop putting so much emphasis on the possibility of FRAUUUDULENT suspicions at my bank. The online system was good and easy. No big complaints there. Our unit has stair-only access, which wouldn't have deterred me, but I could see that being an issue for others. I don't remember that being stated in the description. We did have difficulty finding our unit. I did not see the link for the facility map that was in an email until after we went to the facility. We were driving around and couldn't find the right building, a directional sign, or map. We eventually went into the office, where the only associate was working with another customer. We waited for a few minutes, but eventually a small paper map on an empty associates desk, from which we were able to find our unit. I would recommend some signage to at least direct cars toward the right access doors for the different alphabetic regions. The "air conditioned" unit was very hot. After loading our unit we went back the the office and told the associate who said they knew and that it was going to be fixed soon. We went back today (two weeks later) and the AC unit was running, but it was still above 85° On the wall mounted thermometer. Not the end of the world, but worth noting, the door stop on the access door to our section is broken. One final note, our unit had a rat trap in the corner. On one hand, I appreciate pest control, but on the other, it was concerning.Cory K. | Online Move In
