And a very chaotic environment. It's nice to have a secure storage unit for my business. But most of all I want to thank the staff was always helpful. I've been there for over 10 years I think. I might be back.

HECTOR M.there are two chines guy in front return and pick up areas and their are very rude and no manners ! ! This morning I self pick up my trunk but there are another truck blocking my way ! We are friendly to ask them what should we do? And the old Chinese guys speak loud and rude said we don't speak mandarin ! ! And we ask in English then he said wait! we are not supermen !! After 10 minutes they move out the car and no give me time to check the vehicle! the fuel not 1/2 tank inside the truck are dirty!!

He slam the door at me because I followed the sign where it told me where to drop of the car. He start raising his voice at me and got on the car and slammed the truck door at me and speed away and moved the truck. And was using foul language not to just me but also another customer who was also dropping the rental. I was in a rush to leave or else I would have called 911 because no one was at Uhaul so I can complain

Parking lot was full when I arrived, told me to park outside and come back in person to pick up my rental. Wasted much time in finding parking nearby. Assigned a truck to me but could not find the key, redo the whole pick up process and got another truck eventually. This location is seriously short handed.

STEVEN C.is the second time that the Cargo van i rented has a fifty windows and windshield si i had to go to a gas station to clean them so I could see the road , I know you have people the are supposed to maintain the fleet but they are doing a very poor job.

Nelson R.The driver door was damaged and it was recorded. But they still allow us to rent it instead of getting it fix. I meant, come on, everytime I get in and out the vehicle, the door rubs the fender and creating a cracking rusted sound and need to use extra effort to open or close. Thank god I only need it for about 3 hours with 1 trips. However, to the positive side is the associate who signed me out at the desk is very nice and professional. She even understand that there are no space by the water due to all the truck parked there. She allowed me to park my car in the front while I go take care of my business.

I waited for the rep to respond, about 5 minutes (not bad), but I was told to go inside and ask. The clerk inside wasn't too friendly, but helped me after she finished trying to figure out if her pay included her bonus.

Separately, the equipment needs to be delivered cleaner and in better condition. Spent too much time updating the different aspects of the vehicle with comments and photos before I could drive the vehicle off the lot. U-Haul can do better with this aspect of its business. I expect better.

But, the one older gentleman, Jeffrey Taub, who was supposed to help me check out my truck rental didn't help me properly. I had to go back inside to him 3 times. I wasted over an hour just trying to get 1 rental truck dealing with him. Very unprofessional. I went to him to pick up my rental and he had me do it over my phone when I was already in front of him at the counter. I tried over the phone & it didn't work so I still had to go back in to him. It took him 3 mins to get me started. He could've done that the 1st time I went to him. Then he gives me truck keys for trucks that were in the middle of the rows. Not in the front. We Had to wait until the other trucks get moved for us to get the one we rented. He gives me a truck that has almost no gas. I asked him if he had one with atleast half a tank of gas. I wanted to make sure i didn't get stuck getting to my destination and he tells me there's a gas station up the block... Very unprofessional..

When I tried to show them my confirmation email they kept saying it was 9 despite the email that said 12. They then told me that they left me a voicemail which I also pulled up which again said 12. Then they told me there were multiple people in front of me and couldn't give me an estimate for how long it would take. When I asked again they told reluctantly told me 4-5 hours and that was just “an estimateâ€. The level of professionalism was horrible. There is not point in making an appointment if they are not going to honor it. Plus you pay in advance. After going back and forth they took my keys and said “fine I will do yours first.†Had I not already paid I would have left. I will never use this location again. If they cannot guarantee appointments they should not have the option to waist and should let people know they would have to leave it and come back. Also if they were that far behind then they should call in the morning. There was zero respect for peoples time.

Even when I chose the option to rent longer than 1 day on the app, it always ended up being only as 4 hours rental. #2. The older white male clerk always rudely want me to use the phone app to do everything even when there is absolutely no customer, despite the fact that I told him about the rental glitch and other glitches from the phone app.

Victoriano A.It took them 40 minutes to get me into a vehicle… the car key was not in the truck and the store clerk was unable to locate it on his wall or keys. I was then given another key; that key was to a truck behind the one that they couldn't find the key for… there was no way for me to pull the truck out. So I went back and the clerk handed me another key. That 3rd key was to a vehicle behind behind that very same first truck in which they couldn't find the key. One of the clerks that handled vehicle returns was nice enough to find the key… on the wall of keys. The store clerk did not offer to adjust my pick up time so I started with 40 minutes less with my 4 hour rental. I also had to grab all the rental gear I selected. This was just a very poor first time experience.

Lin L. | Expérience généraleThe website advertised 24 hour access moving from out of state and living temporarily in a hotel it worked best for me as i have used that feature for other out of state moves in the past usually for an additional small fee. when i arrived with a fully loaded u haul truck the front desk attendant stated that it was for "commercial guest only" businesses etc. I stated that that was clearly stated on the website or on the signage that was next to the desk. She stated that's just how it is. Having to catch a flight back i was put in a position of having no choice but to complete the move in. When i was moving out i asked for 24 hour access again because i am again completing this alone and when i called the gentleman i spoke to said that they stopped offering that service a while ago and extended the normal access hours. I advised him that i am requesting this as a last resort and he reiterated that the service is completely unavailable to everyone. I advised him of again the website and the posted signage in the facility and they stated that "we just didn't change it yet" and reiterated the hours are from 5am to 10pm implying that that should be more than enough time. I think its unfair for someone who does not know my life situation or responsibilities to decide that their hours should not be a problem for me. i work nights and have people to take care of during the day. i shouldn't have to explain that to someone to get the services as advertised when that was the reason i chose that storage facility

I had rented a truck from one U-Haul location and drove it to another U-Haul location across states. The location I brought the U-Haul too was a storage facility where I had rented a storage unit. The elevator at this location was broken and it required me to use the back stairs to go up 3 flights of stairs with all my livelihood into this storage unit. The staff there was extremely friendly and accommodating because of this and were able to compensate me graciously for this experience and their apology came from a place of true empathy for a customer. The staff at the 25 Jefferson Street location in Stamford, CT that were working yesterday deserve some recognition for this. At a time like this during the pandemic, it is acts like this that make a company, that make customer service, that make people's days and they remember these moments. Thank you UHaul, and please make sure to recognize the staff that day who helped me, they deserve it. I will continue to be a long term Uhaul customer because of acts like this and the payoff on the bottom line will be well worth it for the compensation that was provided out of the kindness of their hearts. Merci.

Our belongings were destroyed by water damage, mold and mildew destroyed our storage boxes and possessions. It was disgraceful!! The precious valuables were things treasured from years, decades ago and no value could be put on them. We will never get those pictures, diplomas and various other treasures our family saved. Shame on uhaul and their flushing facility and employees. I will never use or recommend you again!

The day befor I pickup, I came to U-Haul saturday to make reservations that I needed the 15'N Truck Van, same as I had rented before, I sad. But that U-Haul employer he dont answered, he just printed the papers he needed and he give me the copy. Than he serving athers customers. On the ways I go home I repeat to read the paper he gives to me that I realized that I got big citing from that guys, he dont give me the 15'N truck Van as I ask hem, he just put van in the paper. The nex days when I came to pickup the car, I asking again the Van'15 N, but he answered 'you get what in the paper printed.!!* This is actually reason I can't returned the van as shedulled...!
