I MAKE RESERVETION TWO DAYS BEFORE. WHEN I CAME I CAR TOWING TRAILER WAS NOT THERE, WAS NOT READY. THE PERSON BEHAND THE DESK UHAULWAS NOT NICE NOT PROFESIONAL AND HI DIDNT CARE THAT THE TRAILER WAS NOT READY. The cabin area of the cargo van I rented could have been cleaner, especially during this pandemic. Customers should bring their own cleaning wipes just in case, to wipe down all surfaces of a rental vehicle.Hsuan L.

The two ladies who were working at the College Point location on the afternoon of Sunday, April 11, were the best customer service I've ever experienced at any Uhual location. I did not get their names, but I hope they get some recognition for doing such a good job, making the process quick and demonstrating masterful handling of a situation with a customer who was behaving rudely.Dominick M.

I was not aware that its uhaul policy to make it difficult to rent a van in comparison to other retail rental companies. My state issued drivers license along with my Amex credit card my cell phone my home phone number was not enough to be eligible to rent a van I also needed to give a friends telephone number to be called on the spot to verify I am who I am this is preposterous. Furthermore the process of returning the rental van is insane. I paid complete insurance coverage for the rental van. I have to remain in the van while the rep bangs on 4 tires with a stick tells me to put the van forward and reverse then to process to operate all the turns signals and lights before the return process is completed. Again what is this a utility van or prestige luxury car. This solidifies next time I should stick with Hertz or Enterprise for my rental van business. Uhaul needs to change its process... The drop off was very easy at this location. The customer service was horrible. The agent found a parking ticket in the center counsel and said this is yours ( yelling). I told him this in not mine and he threw it on the ground. I had to pick it up and show that it was from late March and I just picked the truck up today(April 10th). It wasn't mine! He said you can just throw it away then. The pattern with Uhual is the customer service is garbage. I usually use Uhual when I move, but the past two experiences have been really bad. I would probably look into another service the next time I move!!Alexander S.
Answer the phone a little quicker maybe. Other than that I have no complaints concerning my previous experience with Uhaul. You made things very simple and easy, from pick to drop off. The svc reps were knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and respectful.MARVIN R.
I rent vans from there very often and ever single time I do when I return it you guys always find something wrong with it when I return that absolutely was not caused by me and then charge me, or have me slip cash on the seat. Staff are not particularly friendly; when asked about the dolly I reserved, one staff told me not available and not attempt to help further. However, we were super appreciative with one particular employee who went above and beyond to help us locate one. Thank you! We were over charged on the fuel when returning the truck. Despite we already filled it back to the level of fuel when we picked up the truck, we were still being charged. Called to dispute and was given a follow up number but no one has followed up.Wai Keung V.

Was a very efficient experienced, but for someone who doesn't rent a Uhaul very often, and not familiar with the process, the whole customer experience felt very "rushed." I realize they are busy, but on return of the vehicle- got barked at to do the lights test, reverse- etc. Would help to have a minute to gather belongings, get settled after a long stressful drive through NYC traffic.Brendan R.
