We had to change to a different day and place and was given a smaller truck than what we ordered. Then you wanted us to transport a car dolly for you, but it wouldn't even haul our truck...so we said no to that. When we went to the uhaul place that was 25 minutes from our house to pick up the smaller truck that you assigned us, we passed by our original uhaul choice and there sat the big truck that we tried to order to begin with. We felt we were given a big run around. We had to reschedule help and we did not have enough room on the smaller truck.Shannon L.

Uhaul employees completely overwhelmed, not enough workers for a lot of frustrated customers. Uhaul tried to change our pickup location at the last minute, and it turned out to be wrong after all. Truck was late. Just frustrating and time consuming.Theodore F.

The staff was very nice, competent and helpful. However, when I went to start the first truck, there was no gas even though it said there was a quarter tank on my sheet. I went back in and waited again and the associate said all of the trucks were out of gas so he gave me one which was the least out of gas. There wasn't a station along my route and I was using to move one piece of furniture nearby so it's not really acceptable for the cost.Kelly S.

We had to input some of the same info at the store that I had previous already input in the reservation. This include: the destination, the drop off location and we had to rescan our drivers licenses. This may be a disconnect in your software between the reservation system and the rental agreement.John N.

For my app pickup, I still had to go in to get the keys. I had to move another van out of the way or otherwise risk getting stuck in the mud. The van I was assigned had a huge crack in the windshield and a warning about the tire monitoring system.Jack D.
I had a confirmed reservation at the location on 121 in McKinney, but was contacted the day before pickup and told they had moved my reservation to this location because they provided the trailer I reserved to another customer. This location was far less convenient for me, which is why I did not select originally select it. What is the purpose of a conformed reservation if the equipment can be given to someone else? When I said the change in location was inconvenient, the person in McKinney said "The change in location is the only way to fill your order, you're welcome"Keith M.

I rented a tow dolly and one of the skids did not have a lock on it. There was no mechanism there. It was missing. Didn't realize this when we checked it out but as I'm driving down the road, it vibrated out. It could've been dangerous. I recommend that these things be checked and tested before the rent it out. I don't like that. I was rented in defective piece of equipment. Also, I can't say for sure, but I could swear I smell vodka when I was at that desk renting the equipment. I could be wrong, but it smelled a little fishy.Jason G.

TREAT THE WINDSHIELDS! Visibility was extremely poor in a normal rain shower. The insides of the windshield were not cleaned, and the glass not treated for common rain/weather. I almost lost my life and risked our valuables using an UNSAFE vehicle.Joel H.

They had just closed when I got there to drop it off. There was an employee in the parking lot who saved me from looking like an idiot waving my arms in front of the door. He was nice and friendly and told me to just drop the keys in the box.Rachael D.

I rented a cargo van. Upon delivery the staff declined conducting a walk through of the vehicle to validate any previous damage, the vehicle was filthy inside, as well was given to me with a broken windshield which obstructed view while driving. Tires, the TPMS light was on, as well all tires were exceptionally low as it took one of the maintenance employees nearly 20min of my rental time to fill all tires. I can say I am glad I was the only one in the vehicle as it was a safety hazard bumper to bumper. I thought the additional fees were bad enough, however paying for the awful service at the counter and what will soon be a death trap for another customer, I do not see myself using this location again, and possibly not U-Haul either. The only person with any professionalism, courtesy and care was the lot tech Dwayne who assisted with getting the tires aired up. Dwayne should be your current site leader based on the other choices you have there.William W.

Nothing to improve at this location. Everything and everyone there provides the best service and is always friendly. That's why I always go back to this location every time I need to rent a trailer. One time last month this location was out of the trailer I needed and I had to go to another location and that other location wasn't nearly as friendly or provide as good of service. I will continue coming back here every time I need a trailer.Christopher U.

Pickup was easy, drop off easier. The only issue is that I rented the trailer for 6 hours for $36.25. Unexpected delays made me uncertain whether I could return it within the scheduled time, so I opted to extend it by 2 hours. That cost was the same as the 6 hour rate. I actually returned it an hour late, but was not offered a rebate. Lessons to be learned. Don't know how I will handle it next time, it there is a next time.Barry B.

Hello, The establishment was above average overall. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location to friends and family which is also the reason that I moved out due to the damage that the crickets and cicadas leave the storage units. I believe customers should be made aware of and given the choice or opportunity to decide if they want their items to be infested in the storage units. You have issues at your store. Juan you are part of tge problem. you never returned calls when I had an issue when I was moving my storage unit out. I was there to puck up truck at 6:30 am was not able to get tge lock off. 2 employees that were moving trucks around tried. They said I would have to wait until 7 until someone opened the store . Well the person was late They did not arrive until 730 no it's been one hr after my pick up time. We were given a different truck never did a check in. We got one storage unit unloaded and went around to unload the one inside. Nope no place to back the truck up because umpty trailers were parked in the spots. Returned the truck at 1230 I asked to speak to tge manager about the mess of the day. Jaun was out somewhere getting a truck. So they said to call him in 45 minutes . I told the lady that my unit was now empty and told her about the situation of not being able to empty the otger unit due to empty trailers . My son left 2 messages and never got a return call. Never got the truck checked in either they said because it was raining. We never got a receipt. Later that day I called the general uhaul number and spoke to a lady. She informed me that if you do nit get the equipment promised you are suppose to get a $50 credit. Interesting that not one oerson working that day mentioned that. She gave me the credit ,sent me a receipt and I told her that my unit was empty. I also asked her to email Jaun that we would like a call back. Again NO RETURN CALL !!!. Then yesterday I got a message from your facility stating you noticed my unit was empty. So I called and spoke either Craig and let him know that he is now the 3rd person I have told my unit is empty. Your communication and customer service needs improvement. I will be expecting some money off when I empty our other unit since it was a HUGE INCONVENIENCE we were not able to do it that day !!! The only issue I had was at the removal of the trailer. The guy removing trailer took my safety pin out of my ball hitch and never put back. I had to drive 10 miles to retrieve. The manager defended his staff initially saying they wouldn't do that then I asked him if the Uhaul staff at the location I picked up from failed to check the pin, then a light came on, was friendly but young and needs experience dealing with customers!CARLOS G. | Premières impressions

Only ever had one problem. I put my card on file for automatic payments, and after 2 times running it on automatic, all of a sudden they just didn't run it. They charged me a late fee and put a lock on my unit. They did of course correct their mistake and remove the lock and fee once I reminded them I am on auto pay. They also apologized and stated they didn't know why it decided not to run the card. Other than that, they were excellent. Well lit. Plenty of space. Plenty of carts to transport.
