Two primary issues with this location: 1. Only one elevator and the one elevator is the slowest every made 2. Sometimes the lines to get service in the store are insanely long. I once had to wait an hour to get service

They inappropriately and incorrectly charged me for fuel. They indicated an incorrect starting fuel level. I have a photo and have submitted it expecting a refund. Also, I've never had a rental where they provided the vehicle with only a quarter of a tank....disappointing I have to start the day getting fuel.

The mileage and fuel was improperly noted on the vehicle that I rented and I was overcharged. This location was extremely busy and it felt like complete chaos. I was never given any sort of paper invoice or anything. Now because of somebody else's error or lack of care I was billed over $100 more than what I should have been so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Even if this is rectified, a U-Haul representative created an action file and it will be days before we know anything. Not convenient for U-Haul to be holding funds of ours at the moment at all...

I'm sorry to put a low rating, but the technician who checked the trailer in that we rented removed our electrical plug that connects the trailer wiring to the car wiring. We didn't notice til the next morning when we were putting things away. We drove back to the uhaul location, explained the problem, and asked for help. The representative there looked everywhere but found nothing. He offered to sell us a new plug at a discount -- very sweet but we'd just purchased our plug two days earlier and really didn't want to buy another even at a discount. Everyone was really nice -- but at the end of the day, equipment we purchased was lost and not replaced. I'm sorry I can't recommend this location.

No one came out to return the van. I went inside and the two girls at the counter who were doing nothing told me to wait for the guy outside to come back and return it. After waiting 15 minutes I finally managed to get the app working and was able to return the van.

I reserved a storage unit as well as a truck. The truck was fine, but the unit was not available once I got there. I was told the unit I reserved was not available. The girl said there were similar units on the 2nd and 3rd floor, but not one on the ground floor that I was supposed to get. I asked if the ones higher were at least cheaper than the one I was supposed to get. She said the other ones were more expensive. I asked her how this happens, and she just shrugged her shoulders. She never offered an explanation. I had to find a storage elsewhere, but it was not as tall causing me to have to get additional storage. This was a terrible experience. Without follow-up, I will not use U-Haul again.

while doing the mobile check-in, the key locker didn't have my rental key so I had to get inside the store. The lady at the counter clearly was waiting for me to come inside, she acted like I was an idiot about not knowing where the key was. Not welcoming, rude and no face covering. Just asked me: is your last name ---? and handed me the keys w/o saying anything else that I even had to asked "I am sorry, am I done?"... It just take few seconds to be cordial with someone that crosses your path, especially to the customers

Truck exterior needed to have tires rotated (bumpy ride) and to be washed as bugs on the windshield hindered some views. Otherwise the truck interior was cleaned. the staff was very helpful.

The trailer we had was defective. It wouldn't grip the ball and gave us a ton of trouble. The passenger tail light on the trailer was also glitchy. A Frisco police officer stopped us because it wasn't working but when he walked back to his truck he came back and said it was on again. You might want to check that hitch and wiring.

I rented a trailer and then turned it back in within 30 minutes because we didn't need it. But still got charged and the wrong times on the final paperwork. I will like a refund. But no I will not refer but that doesn't matter. They are the only ones in the area.

It's surprising how much I visit this UHAUL to purchase materials and rent trailers lately. It's the closest location and always has what I am looking for available. My only complaint about this location is the customer service. I have left a previous comment regarding certain employees that act like they are going out of their way to do what their being paid to do. Not just that but act as though they would rather be anywhere else on the face of the earth than at UHAUL providing customer service. It's ridiculous. It's not hard to smile, speak clearly, or even get from behind the desk to show me where something is or to ask someone to hook up my trailer and not make me wait 20 minutes outside. That's all thanks.

I don't recommend the place because I had reserved a 10x15 but the staff never offered me a 10x15. everytime they offered me 10x10 and I ended up paying more in the long run because my stuff never fitted a 10x10.

Front desk young ladies were more concerned about ordering breakfast tacos and carrying on as in their hs cafeteria than a place of business. That was of course until the young man walked in from the garage area and their attention was turned to him. I had to redirect the front desk person twice to please focus on our business transactions which she responded with contempt. The young man to his credit stayed professional and assisted in getting me on my way promptly. However he did fail to ensure I has secured the moving pads I required for my move. Therefore I forced to resort to utilize household blankets etc for my move. All together this has to be the worst experience I have experienced with Uhaul yet. I have definitely noticed a steady decline in the customer service at Uhaul over the years but this is a new low. I expected the prosper location to offer I higher level of service seeing how it's such a growing area. I own a service related business, I have over 30 years of customer service and management experience so I do understand basic customer service.

At the last minute, the truck i was supposed to have received was changed, however; the contract was never updated. The gas chart was completely different, as well as the truck number and mileage that was to accompany the vehicle I drove. This turned into a headache when trying to return the vehicle.

The tank was not full. The ban was very old and the breaks were not working properly as well as the steering wheel. The representative was a 5 star. But then she couldn't find the key to my van so she went to the back and brought me another van. It was not full of gas and the breaks were not working properly as well as the steering wheel was very loose.

Truck was switched buy an employee because it was hard to get to. Assured me the dolly and furniture blankets were already in the back of the truck, they were not. Put my move behind schedule because I had to drive up there the next morning to get these. Original truck was never removed off the reservation so I found out I was being double charged. Waiting on them to fix this.

The entire crew when I picked up which was was 3 people were all a nightmare to deal with. I waited 8-10 minutes to be helped while one person waited a on a mover renting multiple trucks. Ans the other two talked to each other. Once I was finally called on the woman I dealt with mumbled so bad I couldn't hear a word she said. Then I was handed off to another woman who also mumbled and never looked at me so I was never sure if she was speaking to me. No personality no thank you'd nothing. The original girl who first called on me was the one to hook up my trailer. Which was I a very small are since there was equipment sitting everywhere and she gave zero direction so I ended up having to move 3 times. Being disabled this pissed me off! Then after I finally get there I'm asked to hook up the trailer myself. After which she kept mumbling about something I had to ask her 4 times and finally she said you need a connector adapter. Which I had at home she said in a nasty way “you just wanna come back without the trailer?” No one explained I wasn't allowed to leave without lights otherwise I would've made sure I brought my adapter! So I was so glad that I Uhaul over charges about 50% for those ! This entire crew needs to have some serious training on how to speak and deal with customers. However the drop off crew was super nice and competent!!!? So go figure.

Your counter people were not knowledgeable in my case of renting a car hauler. I made two visits to the location each time them saying my 2017 Yukon Denali, 425 horsepower was not recommended to pull a car hauler with my Subaru on it. I fortunately got in touch with the 800 number and they were able to confirm my Yukon was just fine. Evidently they were using a default number for gross weight to carry of 5000 pounds. My car was actually 10,000 pounds. Everything worked out a d our trip went very good. More training in Prosper.

The General Manager at Frisco Uhaul in Prosper Texas, Joshua Snead was excellent and provided me with service & help that made me feel like family or a very good friend! My 2014 Subaru Outback Needed major surgery to expand the holes to install the trailer hitch. Joshua broke his drill and borrowed a drill from another Uhaul facility which also broke! Mr. Sneed bought a new drill the next morning and personally completed the hitch installment by noon!! I was treated like his family and we became friends! *I am moving to Prosper soon and I will Return his kindness.. and reward him (somehow) with an appropriate action!! On Saturday morning when I came to get access to my new storage unit - there were at least 12 people in line, and took me an hour to get service at the register. Then on Sunday when I went to go unload into the units, employess had parked their cars at the unloading doc. Someone came ot move a car but I had unloaded so she just left at the doc. Employee attitudes except for one gentlemen Josh on his nametag. The other females had very negative attitudes and felt like I was bothering them to ask them to move cars

Move in process was easier than in the past. However, we were not informed that there would be a lock on our unit that staff would have to remove. So after hauling stuff up to unit, we had to go back down to get a staff member to let us in our unit. Kind of annoying they didn’t do that in the first place. For about 6 people In the line in front of me, took about 30 minutes, all with online reservations.

There was a long line and I was next so the kid working asked me what I wanted and when I told him I was closing my unit, he said just give me the number. I did and the auto payment hit anyone a few days later. I called but got someone who is not at that store and she took a message. I went into the store and was given a receipt that says it was reversed but it still hit my account. I should have gotten my refund plus a pro rated refund for the prior month of a few days, but you have many broken processes

I closed my account in person on Feb 17, 2020. On Feb 23rd I was later charged for the unit I was no longer using. On Feb 24th, I emailed the branch manager notifying them that I had closed my account a week earlier and disputed the charge with my credit card company. I received no response. On March 23rd, I was charged again. I went to the U-haul website and closed my account again and disputed the charge with my credit card company again. On April 2nd, I received a late notice from the branch about my failure to pay for the storage unit and notification that I was being charged a $15.00 late fee. I again emailed the branch manager the above information and didn’t receive a response. I am extremely disappointed with the branch’s account management and will never use U-Haul Moving & Storage of Frisco Prosper again. They have lost me as a customer forever. Please feel free to use this feedback directly with the branch so they can learn from this incident.

I would have given perfect experience had we received a proration for early exit. I was charged for a full month and a few days later was my move in day, so uhaul got a months rent for a few days of storage. There was nothing I could do because I couldn’t move two full storage lockers early so I was stuck paying for the full month. This left a sour taste in my mouth on a otherwise perfect experience.

The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. When I meet the front desk staff, I make an immediate decision about whether I trust them or feel confident about using a location. The young woman at the front desk exhibited all of those qualities. I walked out of two other facilities when the staff were not meeting this important criteria.
