Regarding clean and maintained- both my storage units and my truck rentals were clean and APPEARED maintained. However, 2 areas: 1of my brand new 26' trucks had a leak in the roof. So the night I emptied my units into the trucks, it rained heavily well after we finished. The next day when we unloaded, my furniture was wet and many boxes as well. One box of kitchen items even exploded on the ground as I carried it because of how wet it got. So it cost me. Also, 1 of my two outdoor units had a hole in the roof that I needed to request a repair on. It was done immediately and without question, but these things should be checked. Had I not noticed the sun shining through, our musical equipment would have been ruined. The staff is very helpful and respectful and the owner seems very hands on.

The 10ft truck that I ordered had not been returned which of course is not your fault. However, it was a bit inconveniencing and a little challenging to say the least to drive a 26 ft truck. I've never driven a vehicle that large before so I was very nervous.

The lady that helped me was not very helpful. I gad to ask her many questions because she gave me very little information. She was very short and very vague. The guy that originally took my reservation and the guy that checked the truck back in were very polite and helpful. Also I put more gas back into the truck then originally had, not wanting to get charged a lot! Will I get that taken off my bill?

I spoke with Mike on Friday and he told me all about the benefits of renting from U-Haul. I spoke with Erik and he showed me around the facility. I came back the next day and purchased the unit along with a lock. Erik was so professional and accommodating. I have to go back next Saturday to purchase a larger unit! Great, clean place, very satisfied.

Felt extremely uncomfortable it the store. The employees were not wearing the masks over their mouth or nose and either were the two other customers in the store. Filled out the online check in to speed up the check in process and it seemed to not speed anything up. Also, they didn't notify me they would be closed when I return the trailer. The app didn't let me create an account. I'm really disappointed in my experience

Security limitations prevented us from moving in after 7pm. As a result. I had to store belongings in a relatives garage given I had a move out deadline. So now, I haven’t been able to actually move into my storage space on the move in day I paid for.

I had a terrible experience with two employees who worked here- Tiara Wright and I believe the other was a woman named Penny. When I got to the location to pick up the trailer, Tiara repeatedly coughed into her shirt and wiped her nose without sanitizing and touched my ID and credit card immediately after. She installed the trailer and did not check to make sure the lights worked, and went back inside. Luckily, my partner wanted to check before we left, and the lights did not, in fact, work. We found Penny in the parking lot, who assured us that Tiara said she saw the lights working. This is impossible, as I never once turned on the lights after she put the trailer on. Penny unhooked our trailer and told us we needed to have our truck fixed before we could hitch the trailer, but then offered absolutely no help or solutions. We were unfamiliar with the area and spent hours trying to find a mechanic. We went to another Uhual location where an employee was able to refer us to a mechanic very close. The mechanic fixed the car in fifteen minutes. We made it back to the Glenwood Uhual about five hours after our original pickup time. Penny helped reattach our trailer and when I expressed that I was disappointed in their customer service, she asked that I keep it to myself and not leave a customer review. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received at this location. Tiara told a bold faced lie that could have led to a terrible accident, and the fact that she was coughing on my stuff and touching her nose during a pandemic is just unacceptable. A Uhual employee at another location was able to help us- why did Penny offer no help or assistance like he did?

Do what you say. I made the reservation on line. That was good. Right after closed the app, I got email from you strongly suggesting that I will save a lot of time when I arrived by checking in on line. This was a couple of days before I was picking up the vehicle. I even had to download pictures of my drivers license. So I get to the dealer to pick up the vehicle and basically went through the whole thing again. The fellow at the counter told me I would need my license, so I got it out but he never asked me for it. When I asked him why he told me I needed my license, he just blew me off. I had reserved 1 dozen moving pads with the vehicle. That was confirmed on my reservation. When I came in, they didn't have any and I got an "OH WELL. They didn't come in." What good does that do me. I really hate using U-Haul, but since you seem to have cornered the market, I guess I'll live with it.

Owner is kind of quirky. Not exactly rude, but not great customer service either. Asked me repeatedly if I would have the truck back by 12, kind of annoying. Felt like I was being talked down to at times. Long wait to return even though I was only one in line.

For the world going through a time of Covid 19, the truck should have been cleaned and sanitized. It was filthy inside AND out. Extremely disappointed. For the amount of money we spent, I shouldn't have had to take the time to clean/sanitize the inside myself. Wasted time and my own products. We should have received a discount.

I was told that I had a reserved open trailer. Arrived, they seem to lost my reservation, then said didn't have no trailer avilable. I notice outside the lot a trailer part their, so I check the #. When I return whit the van I rented. Hold and behold the same trailer park in the same location!! And you want me to recommend this location with kind of Business practise. And the staff was so concern about letters getting put on the instead of Customer SATIFACTION!!! (You fail this time)

Overall was great, and was great that we could rent a van in a pinch. The one thing is... I rented a truck last month from a different Uhaul location where they texted me a link to allow me to capture an image of my Drivers License and upload. This time “Derrick” took my license and took the picture with HIS personal phone. Why would he do that? Why does he have an image of MY dL on HIS phone now?

The manager in this location was extremely rude. My associate had checked in a vehicle the previous evening and apparently the keys were missing. She asked him about it and he said after he got done checking me in he would look for the keys. She left walked back again and interrupted us again about the keys. Again my associate said he would help after he checked me in. She stormed of mumbling something and then came back a 3rd time, interrupting us once again about the keys. At this point my associate continued to check me in but was extremely embarrassed at how he was treated in front of a customer. He was extremely polite and handled the situation amazingly.

I waited over a week for a manger to call me and she never called. Then I think the policy for storages should be explained more. The employees there pay more attention to their cellphones than the customer when your moving in so they act like they don’t have time to explain anything. The guy that helped me on 6/23/20 was amazing. Great customer service on HIS BEHALF.

There were 3 employees there. The two guys were really nice and patient but the young lady just assumed that I knew everything because I’ve used them before. The last time I had a storage was 5 years ago and I’m sure things could have changed. If she had paid more attention to her customer than her phone she probably would’ve told me about the insurance that I could’ve purchased. Also soon as you walk into the door it all the rain was in puddles on the floor which is a big safety hazard.

I rented a UHaul from this place, then rented storage for 6 month, then, due to loss of my job and concerns over this epidemic, I rented another UHaul and cleaned out my shed... one (1!) day after they hit my account for the monthly charge. I asked for a pro-rated refund OR the option to apply some of the $100 to the UHaul rental. I never asked for the full amount back. I didn't expect that. However, I spent over $1000 in rentals and the incredulous manner in which my requests were met with left a horrible taste in my mouth. Especially given current events. There are PLENTY of other UHaul or competitor locations out there. I'll be using and recommending other options for my next move and storage needs.

Employees of this Uhaul location stepped in to get Uboxes delivered to my new address when other uhaul locations delivery truck failed. They were a huge help and their customer service was excellent.
