Don't lie about availability 5 sites in Miami said no 9f van available This site said yes come in we got it ! Then upon arrival pull bate and switch on me !!! Only 17F truck available with no time to look I get a dirty old ( 97 miles junk ride) The whole ride struggling engine not pulling more than 60 miles Ian hour my 2 day trip turned into 3 long days of TORTURE with stoping every 3 hours to gas up for 100$ truck consumed gas like I've never seen b4 ( drove 10,12,17,20,24,26 footers) Horrible experience with Uhaul !!!THOMAS B.

I didn't get the email laying out the return process so I had to guess what to do. Didn't take interior pics to confirm I returned a clean vehice with 3/4 of a tank of gas. Dropped the keys in the box too soon. Unpleasant experience in the rain! And there was another customer running around the parking lot too.KIRKLAND J.
I wouldn't recommend any u haul location. This locating was good with the basics but did not truly help me. I had a res. At 7 th Ave and 54 th in miami. Call as I'm driving there to say I'm on my way. I arrive 30 min later to a cancelled reservation because they have no trucks ( claimed they left a vm). I ask they change it from 24 hrs to 4 hrs so I can at least move, they refuse with 2 trucks sitting in lot. Had to call to get another truck 6 miles away. I get truck , they refuse flat out to give me 12 mile credit for their mistake. The new location ( 1000 Miami Ave) is nice but in the end helper very little, just blamed other location. Called service center several times and first location who canceled me (where he yelled at me) with no help in the end. They are so busy they could care less. Don't use u haul if you have another option. Moved 2 hrs late, and got caught in rain thanks to their mistakes. Horrible experience.GEORGE Q.

There are no downtown Miami gas stations that can fit a 17' truck and I only drove in downtown Miami - therefore was not possible to get gas without potentially damaging truck - I did not mind having to pay for the 2-3 gals of gas at the hyper inflated rate but feel the 30 $additional gas for for those 2-3 gals was a complete rip off. You just took advantage - it isn't like the service was outstanding - I literally had to chase for the added equipment (trollies) and when returning had to wait 15 minutes to be processed - actually just to get into the lot and then to get out of lot, person picking me up and I had to wait another 15 minutes until trucks blocking the entrance / exit could be cleared.Mark P.

We had blankets which we did not use still in plastic and returned them the next day as they were closed when we left. We asked for a refund but even though the company in Charleston where I dropped the truck off said they could give me a refund but when I told them that Miami would not give a refund they said they could not either because of Miami's decision. I'm writing to you regarding my truck rental returned today. I waited until your employee reviewed and checked the whole truck letting me know everything was OK and I told me I could go. I requested a receipt and he told me it would be sent by email. I have attached 3 emails where it show final charged of 80,24 $ (sent twice) and a 3rd email showing 354,82 $. As I was surprised i immediately called your office and came in to verified what happened. I don't recall hitting anything on the truck and very surprised that after I left passed sometime and suddenly telling me it had a dent on the roof. Why I wasn't told before I left premises? It took a while to for your employee to acknowledge and/or someone else could have done it. Can you please let me know if you can do something about it, I should not be penalized for it. This truck as so many dent and scratches all over.Fernando E.

I received a 15â€ truck with gas tank having 33 miles of driving left. The windshield was dirty with bird feces. The truck was not at the location marked in the self pick up. I have rented a truck via self pick up about 6 times this year. And half of the times the key was not in the locker, but I had to pick it up at the office. So in those occasions I have to go to the office, wait on my phone the be approved by the operator, and then pick up the key. (Which I can only get when I locate the truck, though the truck was not in the right spot) Also, the app is very slow and loses connection from time to time, which is frustrating especially when you are outside with your phone under the sun or rain trying to pick up the truck. Every time I have to provide a photo of my ID, which is inconvenient to take when you on the go. So literally I have to use the trash can by the office to place my ID on it to take a photo. Hope this helps to improve your service. I'd be happy to keep using U-Haul in the future. Merci.Anton B.

You need to work on keeping your o line inventory up to par with physical inventory. I made 3 reservations for Saturday and all the locations I went to were overbooked by a lot. One service agent was inattentive and hesitant in providing good customer service, lack of eye contact and refused to acknowledge my presence. However another young lady stepped in and took over offering us excellent customer service. I appreciated her assistance and she was extremely helpful. I'm sorry I didnt get her name. When it comes to the storage units available no one guides you on how to enter the facility & you have to learn it yourself. No one guides you to the units available, they just give you a sheet of paper & have you go on your own. Not the best customer service experience in that aspect.JOHANEL R.
First, the size demensions I confirmed were not what I got,, and the website does not explain about having to use a ladders steps to access your unit.. After this deception, the girl that changed my unit after looking at a few units. Was super Lazy, rude, and would not detach from her phone to give me instructions. I had to return 4 times. Once for the code, once to figure out I had to use it for both doors just to find out I needed a card to do this, plus, was never given a lock...the van I rented did not have a dolly so I had to go searching for one and get the ok to take it...this burned up about 2 hours of my rental time. As I was finally moving in there was a huge rat trap in my unit which makes me very nervious of having my belongings infested.. there was a strong scent of Marijuana on my floor and 2 unit with people bathing and sleeping in the units like a hotel. Told Virgin - lady that gave me contract - that I did NOT want insurance. My credit card covers rental cars/trucks. She charged me 20,00 $ anyway. I asked fir charge to be removed when I returned truck and two women and one man talked to each other in Spanish and then Raina said â€œI'm just doing my jobâ€. I only kept cargo van from 8:00 until 5:30 NOT EVEN THE 24 HOURS I PAID FOR - BUT I returned can with more gas than was in van when I got it. Windshield was filthy. I asked an employee if they could clean it and he turned on the wipers and told me â€œwe are short staffedâ€. The inside had sticky finger prints just in my line of vision so I used a couple of handiwipes I keep in my purse to clean windshield. OUTRAGEOUS comment! I want a credit of 20,00 $ to my MasterCard. The quality of the equipment and the customer service were pretty poor: 1) The vehicle seats were ripped and several warning lights were on in the dashboard. 2) customer service upon returning the vehicle was crap.Eugenio D.

My truck turned off twice in traffic . Later in the evening ,My truck broke down at a light and had to get towed . Towing took long and communication was poor . It was late at night and it was raining. At no point did uhaul apologize for this inconvenience nor compromising my safety . Terrible experience . Would not recommend or ever use uhaul again . Attendant at facility with pickup were also not friendly . Uhaul also sent me two different addresses for return . The one in my initial confirmation asked me to go to 8000 Belvedere road . However in a text it said 4371 okeechobe blvd . This service was so unprofessional and unorganized .PAOLA B.

Water damage inside my storage unit along with a cockroaches infestation.... lost many valuable items due to the water damage and end up with cockroaches IN MY HOUSE!!! So, you pay Uhaul to store your belongings get back home with spoiled stuff and a bunch of cockroaches inside the boxes! FANTASTIC STORAGE SERVICE U-HAUL!!!!!!!!!! Vehicle interior was not fully cleaned. Also I was told I could leave the truck on site overnight and could not. Had to pay for the parking else where. The in store staff was extremely helpful, the gentleman who made my truck contrac Jose Alvarez and the young lady who made my storage contract Jazmin Beltran Gomez both made it not only quick and easy for me but were well versed in the job and were very courteous. I am now aware now that Miami is 85 % Spanish. The storage in Miami wasn't climate control. Climate control should be mandatory in all of Miami units. The staff knew only Spanish. They need interpretations or hire someone native that speak English. Jacksonville was okay. I had to call corporate to fully comprehend my reservations. 3 locations were not able to explain anything to me . I know things are hectic for everyone, just letting UHaul know things can be rectified. We used UHAUL in the last at least 8 times before this reservation.CANDACE W. | Premières impressions
