I was in a rush to because my service elevator reservation was about to end. I called the service on the number 8004684285, and the representative was very helpful and reserved a truck for moving a studio or one bedroom, which is very convenient to me. When I went to that location the front desk employee finalized the paper work and gave me the keys and I was shocked when I saw that he gave me something else. It was a truck that can move 5 bedroom apartment. I had to go because I was late, but this was great inconvenience. Maneuvering that huge truck, fitting it into the spaces and more importantly not giving me what I signed up for is very inconvenient. Plus, it is way more expensive, and way more than what I needed. This is why my rating wasn't that high, but in general you guys are amazing. I can't thank you enough for making such a stressful process easier. Merci.

The customer service is terrible. They should call people before canceling their reservations. The guy next to me was having an issue because someone decided to extend their rental so his truck was not available for him even though he reserved it. And for me, she was rudely telling me “it's canceled” even though it wasn't and she hadn't checked. Moving day is stressful for everyone and you need to have excellent customer service reps to handle this. Will look into other companies next time because this same thing happened to me last time.

I was given a truck on empty, but required to refuel it above a quarter tank anyway. The women working were very rude and unprofessional. Slow and on her cell phone the whole time instead of doing her job helping customer.

Fix the driver's side sideview mirror so that it shows more than about 3 car lengths back for a normal height (6'1") driver without them having to hunch down. Very dangerous!

There was a very cute, petite, hispanic, female employee working a few times I was there who also helped me close my account. I couldn't help but notice she would go above and beyond for not just myself, but everyone she came in contact with. She presented a very friendly, helpful and professional demeanor every time I was there, which made me want to keep my unit despite having no use for it anymore. I don't recall her name, but she was amazing and should get a promotion!

I reserved a truck with several moving equipment and 2x furniture moving dollies, 2 week before my moving date. During rental pickup they did have any moving dollies for rent! I didn't have any other option then purchase 2x new ones since they didn't have any for rent then for sale per manager Raina. Also she didn't let me return the purchased dollyies after my move. Bad management and planning for U Haul.

Reina it's such a pleasure to deal with she is super polite, knowledgeable and friendly. I love coming to this location because of her. Only thing I hate about this spot is the parking situation . There's literally nowhere to park except for on street parking, it's very expensive.

I returned the trailer late into the night and the parking lot was full of homeless people that seemed to be making the storage and trucks their home. For most people this would be a very unpleasant and unexpected and potentially dangerous experience.

Your employees are thieves. Charged me a cleaning fee after I had already cleaned out the truck. After reluctantly accepting to pay $75 immediately after leaving the place I get get an additional charge for $200 for the cleaning fees. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff are very unfriendly and unwilling to help. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any U-Haul

i spent a long time outside of one of their gates figuring out how to get the truck inside, this can be solved simply by having the location staff place a sign stating that the actual entrance for truck dropoff is a few dozen feet further down the street.

I left Pensacola, FL at 0600 to make it to this location in time and to pick up keys for my reserved storage unit. I caught the inevitable Florida traffic in the early afternoon and knew that I would be cutting it close. I began attempting to call this location but their phone calls were being forwarded to customer service. I spoke with either three or four customer service representatives via phone and two or three more via online chat at various times throughout the afternoon in an attempt to set up an after-hours pickup. Each person I spoke with said they could not contact the Miami location because "none of the fifteen employees had their chat apps open." The customer service representatives then all promised to attempt to send an email to this location explaining my situation and request they contact me, again, to set up an after-hours pick up via lockbox. I was never contacted. I fought through traffic and was able to arrive at this location with exactly 5 minutes until closing. The door was locked. Immediately to my right a man was shutting the service gate. I approached him and explained my situation. He didn't acknowledge me, locked the gate, and walked away. We made contact with another employee who explained to my friend and I that giving us the keys for our storage unit would take longer than 5 minutes and that he wasn't willing to stay after 1900. He also walked away with us standing at the gate. My friend and I came from Texas, so maybe we're just used to a different level of courtesy and hospitality, but we were both completely shocked. This was truly the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Obviously trucks are old and dirty from wear and tear so there is no fixing that. Main problem I had was that the driver's door lock did not work with the key, so I had to climb over the passenger seat to unlock it whenever I came back to the truck.

Luis was excellent & very warm welcoming. Touch less process was a bit weird at the end asking for additional contact info with immediate reference before allowing vehicle out. Ladies inside instructed they cannot assist, almost was a huge road block to getting the vehicle. Everything else was smooth & easy.

We requested a credit due to the annoying whistling noise we had to listen too for a 1300 mile drive and were told no, only a report would be made or we would have to take it up with the Dallas location After driving all that distance, we were completely spent and felt like the buck was passed but oh well......

It took me over 45 minutes to sign for my storage unit and after driving from North Carolina and having made my reservation 4 days earlier they didn't have my unit available. The solution was to give me another unit that was smaller and ended up not being able to fit all of my stuff. Once I finally got a unit which was now on the 7th. Floor vice the first I was promised the elevator was down for maintenance. It was a routine maintenance they decided to do in the middle of the day instead of waiting until hours when customers weren't coming in and out needing it. I had to move meetings and extend time blocks because of all of the above mismanagement and even more frustrating couldn't store all the stuff I had driven states down to put away for my military move. Very upset and unsatisfactory.

Lets start with the unit location (which no one explain to you how uncomfortable could it be), unit was over another unit and my couch (which is not huge at all) couldn't fit in the hallway (not on the storage unit that it was super difficult to get in), I tried to talk with a girl there super rude because she was on a call and she didn't have time for a customer. Elevator will start closing and making noises after the first 2 mnts (because everyone knows you go to a storage and pay 150 dlrs just to keep 2 box and go). The same rude girl from before when I ask her if I could change units because we didn't fit on the sh..t they gave me she told me they didn't have any (which it wasn't true and we had to go back to get another real answer and she didn't even know how to charge us correctly, but of course they did). We took double time doing this in the storage that what we spend from my apartment (in an 11 floor) to the elevator and then to the truck and all that time with everything in the elevator because there is only 1 elevator and we didn't have space to go or to put things. Awful service (specially the women), horrible storage locations, not friendly elevator and extremely frustrated experience.

Had trouble with other U-Haul storage locations. These guys were great and very supportive. Got us set up in very short order even at the end of the day on a Sunday.

The light in my unit didn't work. The floor wasn't clean. On the day I was clearing my unit out I accidentally left a few things behind in the hallway. The following day I came by & the staff had thrown it in the dumpster and destroyed it. No attempt to check the cameras & reach out to who left it behind. The staff here does the bare minimum & is not very helpful.

First, the size demensions I confirmed were not what I got,, and the website does not explain about having to use a ladders steps to access your unit.. After this deception, the girl that changed my unit after looking at a few units. Was super Lazy, rude, and would not detach from her phone to give me instructions. I had to return 4 times. Once for the code, once to figure out I had to use it for both doors just to find out I needed a card to do this, plus, was never given a lock...the van I rented did not have a dolly so I had to go searching for one and get the ok to take it...this burned up about 2 hours of my rental time. As I was finally moving in there was a huge rat trap in my unit which makes me very nervious of having my belongings infested.. there was a strong scent of Marijuana on my floor and 2 unit with people bathing and sleeping in the units like a hotel. One guy even had an extention cord going to his unit and closed himself inside.

Water damage inside my storage unit along with a cockroaches infestation.... lost many valuable items due to the water damage and end up with cockroaches IN MY HOUSE!!! So, you pay Uhaul to store your belongings get back home with spoiled stuff and a bunch of cockroaches inside the boxes! FANTASTIC STORAGE SERVICE U-HAUL!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to deal with our insurance company who does not want to pay me!!

The in store staff was extremely helpful, the gentleman who made my truck contrac Jose Alvarez and the young lady who made my storage contract Jazmin Beltran Gomez both made it not only quick and easy for me but were well versed in the job and were very courteous. There was two other young ladies present behind the counter who also interacted with me and were very helpful and nice. Everybody was smiling and the overall energy in the store was pleasant.

Horrible!! No A/C like advertised. As soon as I opened the storage unit, there were 2 big cockroaches to greet me. The floor was dirty and placing my couch there scratched the Italian leather on it, not to mention the roaches that enjoyed it. The most Disgusting thing ever. It's a sauna in there. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. . If I had more hands I would give it 10 thumbs down!

My unit was with a tag outside saying it needs cleaning but as I has rush and I need it to put my stuff in storage. I have pictures of the cleaning tag if is requested. But everything else is really good.

Overall I'm satisfied. I had to store my stuff for one week. I paid for a month however. There were two guys pretty much "living" in one of the units on the floor where I was assigned. I felt nervous initially as there was a guy using a step ladder blocking the way and was rude about letting me get by to my unit on the day I was moving my stuff in. I assume these were paying customers so I didn't make a fuss but it was weird. No issues with the facility or unit I was assigned.

I am now aware now that Miami is 85 % Spanish. The storage in Miami wasn't climate control. Climate control should be mandatory in all of Miami units. The staff knew only Spanish. They need interpretations or hire someone native that speak English. Jacksonville was okay. I had to call corporate to fully comprehend my reservations. 3 locations were not able to explain anything to me . I know things are hectic for everyone, just letting UHaul know things can be rectified. We used UHAUL in the last at least 8 times before this reservation.

The building should be maintained, it has a lot of humidity and bad odor. The building has some floating issues especially in the entrance at the load/unload area. In addition the structure itself is dark which leads to an unsecure feeling.

There was a rat trap and a live cockroach in my unit. The rat trap I can live with. It indicates there are rats in the building, but at least you're doing something to deal with it. The live cockroach seemed like more of a problem. When I asked staff about this, one person didn't know what to do and the other person suggested I get a roach bomb. I don't have a car so I walked to the nearest CVS, but they had no cockroach killer materials. I'm pretty concerned my clothes and other items will be infested with roaches when I return.

Cuando empezamos a rentar la bodega no tenían buen mantenimiento de hecho tuvimos que poner veneno y trampas porque había muchas cucharachas y caca de ratón, pero este año se notó un cambio en las instalaciones ya tienen más control, están más limpias se nota que están arreglando las instalaciones, sugerencia poner más aire porque si se siente mucho calor, agradezco el tiempo que arrendamos con ustedes, ojalá sigan con las mejoras porque si se ha notado el cambio, gracias

Worst Facility in Miami. The elevator doesn’t work, they charge you for everything, they don’t care if they rent a truck with an amount of gas they still charge you a hundreds of dollars for a truck.

That facility is awful! Highly inconvenient and unsafe! I wouldn't recommend that place to an enemy much less a friend. I gave them a "Below Average" because the workers are nice but they could never problem solve. The elevator is always broken, not just this year when they upgraded. What's the point of a storage facility where you can't get to your stuff? The last approximately 5 months I've had to walk up 5 flights of freight stairs and walk through dark hallways where often times I'm encountering vagrants. At one point a couple years ago the elevator was broken I asked that an employee escort me stairs because yet again the elevator was broken and they refused due to their own safety too. Nice staff but awful facility.

Is the worst facility that I have used, dirty, full of roaches, hot, elevator first was extremely slow and it has not work for the pass three month. I need it to get my belongings on the seventh floor I had to use the stairs and was not able to move because the elevator was not working Few months ago I put a claim for items that were stollen and when I asked to see the film to see what happened I was told there was no security film. I consider this to be a major problem due to the fact that if anything happens to anyone there is no security cameras according to the office. I lost over $2500. worth of items including my diving equipment, coats, cloth..... and have no way to prove it.

I have paid this storage for a year. Hired a moving truck and crew to put some more items and pick up some of what I had there and found that the elevator wasnt working. Couldnt get my furniture out plus, I couldnt put the new stuff in this storage. Wasted a lot of time of the movers who charge hourly and had go to a new storage. They had to come back yesterday to get the resf of what I have in the storage get it down by the stairs with several movers in order to put everything on the same storage. I have been calling, texting, leaving messages and havent been able to talk to Hector the manager. I left my number, email and no reply. This issue cost me a lot of money which I need uhaul to reimburse.

The service here was excellent. I'm HUGE on customer service and the people here delivered. Definitely want to recognize Tita (I hope that was her name). She truly went up and bring to help me, super friendly, funny, and does her job effortlessly. Overall, the ladies here kick a**. All were so humble and approachable.

I had a terrible experience with this facility. I got stuck in the elevator for 30 mins with half of my things. Finally we got out, but my things stayed at the elevator for 5 days, until they fix it. I had to leave the rest of my things in the moving truck and hire new people for the unloading when elevator was fixed. I reserved my storage on the 7th floor, without letting me know that was burned a year ago and you still can breath the smoke in the floor. I needed to use a face mask every time I visit the storage. The unit was full of roaches, when I move out of the unit, it was infected of dead roaches. The place is disgusting, hot (not air conditioning) and dangerous due to the smoke. They I only stayed 2 months, and never got any discount or consideration after all I went through. It was the worst storage experience I ever had. The storage closes at 7pm, but there are access through the outside stairs leading to the floors, where homeless people come to stay for the night. Very dangerous. I don´t recommend this location to anybody. It was a nightmare for me dealing with the elevator, that breaks all the time according to people going there.

While I would recommend this facility for renting Uhaul trucks, I would not recommend it for storage. It appears to have a mouse problem and I worry that our mattress will be attacked by mice. Also there are homeless people wandering in and using the elevators to hang out in the upper storage floors They carry food which attracts mice. .

There were mice droppings in all of my things. I have to throw out half of the stuff I had in storage because of the rat problem. I paid $130 to keep my things for a month & it wasn't worth it.
