I really like the location of the storage and staffs there. The only one thing is not perfect is that there is no elevator. I planed to rent a small one, but all of them are on the 2nd floor...

My 19.99 van rental cost me over $60 from Greensburgh to Latrobe (a very short distance), to haul a $75 love seat. This is not a reflection on the Greensburgh location, but U-Haul in general. I rented it for 5 hours used it for about 30 mins and even refilled the gas. I can honestly say it's unlikely I will use U-Haul again if I can avoid it.

Great experience for the second time using U-Haul. Moving in never fun but it does help when picking up and dropping off the truck you need is made so easy. It was immaculately clean and was sitting out front waiting for us. Thank you so much!!! The staff is remarkably helpful and friendly. Great service all around. When I called to make my reservation, the uhaul rep offered no information...read my uhaul reservation email. I believe you need to offer customers complete information so they are well informed at pickup (i.e. change cutoff time, pickup window etc.).

there was damage on the vehicle, the employee did not do a walk around to verify any previous damage (my staff took pictures of the damage to verify it was not done by them prior to leaving the location); the uhaul policies on number are rental days is not buyer friendly at all, process is to long and to cumbersome, needed a truck for one month and could only order for a max of 5 days at a time, also could not get a truck at the end of July for the five days needed because only rent for 24 hour periods; makes no sense if you are in the business of renting trucks

The expedited check in (scanning drivers license ahead - etc) was a HUGE help. Made check in quick and efficient. The were missing an item reserved, but were quick to come up with alternatives and possible solutions.

Please change your policy of penalizing a customer for not being able to accurately guess when he’ll be done with the truck. Because I arbitrarily entered 5:00 p.m. as the expected return time, I was going to be charged for an extra day’s rental for bringing the truck back at 5:38. Just tell everyone who reserves online to enter the store’s closing time (as the return time) to avoid this problem.

Props to the fellow who waited on me. Joe Morgan !! I was in and out very quickly during my rental. Everything was thoroughly explained, he even recommend I purchase shrink wrap, which made moving some items so much easier. He offered some driving tips, as I was a little uneasy driving such a large truck. Thank you Mr. Morgan for making my move less stressful

When I pulled up there was a minivan parked in the drop off lane and the guy (Half bald) from uhaul helping. Waited about 5 mins so I pulled up parked and waited since that one guy when inside thought for sure he would be right out but nope waited 5 more minutes and no one came out so as I was walking in a young lady coming out to take a cigarette break said she thought we were helped and checked the truck in and we were on our way. That guy saw us and chose to ignore us.

They forgot to put the appliance dolly in the truck before we left. Had to drive all the way back to the location to pick it up. She was very apologetic about it and said she would take the $20 off for the dolly (2 days @ $10/day). When we returned the truck the location was busy and we were told they would email us the receipt. Not only did they NOT take the price off for the dolly, we were charged double for it. I called customer support who took my complaint and emailed it to the location's manager. They took $20 off, but did not take off the actual rental cost of the dolly like I had been told. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone at the actual location. They dont answer the phone so it kicks you to the 1-800 number. And even then I haven't had a wait time of less than 15 minutes. I've used u-haul several times in the past and never had issues like this. I'm sorely disappointed.

While booking online, the pick-up selection indicates that you would like your rental AFTER a certain time. We arrived after the arrival time and the reservation was cancelled. This is frustrating. If our company rents a vehicle EVERY month, there should be the expectation that we will pick up the rental after the booked time, but it may not be EXACTLY at that time.

Uhaul did not have the 26' truck I had rented over a week ahead of time which caused me to rent the 20' truck hoping I could fit everything in the smaller truck I was forced to get. Because of my problem I was forced to buy another truck to accommodate for the extra space I could have used originally in the 26' truck I was promised.

I rented a van on May 30th, 2019. While there I got to observe Joseph dealing with a grumpy customer (not his fault, she was just grumpy) he was trying his best to turn her frown upside down. He also waited on me. May I say, he has excellent customer service skills and is an asset to your company. He is very knowledgeable about your processes and you are lucky to have such a personable customer service person. U-Haul's software program, which had me registered for 24/7 pick-up did not work. I went to pick-up my truck at 6:00 AM and the telephone app said I must wait until 7:00 AM when the office opened. Obviously you can't trust the company's on-line program. In my case it cost me an hour of waiting outside.

Maybe a little faster service and actually a little better directions on how to finish the process of the online rental. It seems a little unclear how to finish the process and pick up the truck without assistance at the store. Drop off is pretty clear cut. Just go online and report the drop off and leave the key in the box.

Joseph Morgan was very helpful and accommodating. When I made my original reservation, it was all messed up. I was supposed to pick up my truck in Mt. Pleasant and drop off in Greensburg, but it was set up for pick/drop off in Greensburg which caused me more mileage. Then, I requested 1st floor storage and was set up for 2nd floor so I had to settle for 1st floor but smaller unit now I don't have enough room for my stuff and my email was wrong for my whole reservation. Thankfully, Joseph was so very friendly and helpful, he was able to get it all figured out for us the best he could. He showed us our new unit and made sure that everything was okay and that we had the best lock. Very thankful that he was there to help!

I had to give my information 5 different times, when it is given once and told it was saved in the computer it should be in there. It was not, even after I reserved my dolly. It should not matter what color vehicle or the license plate number of what is being hauled home. When hauling home a car it usually does not have a plate or it could be driven home, or trailered home, you would not dolly it. How does color help you when you already have all the other info on what is being hauled? I reserved the dolly and then when I went to get it I was told they didn't know if they had a wiring harness for the lights so they didn't even know if I could take it. This location is a big dealer for its location and you guys need to get on the same page with stuff. Some people I talked to knew what they were doing and others were clueless. Please work on your rental procedure.

I will not recommend U Haul to anyone. I reserved a 20 ft truck a month in advance. Called me 2 days before my move and told me I had to go somewhere else to get the truck. I ended up with a 15 ft truck and had to make 2 trips resulting in increased mileage. When we dropped off the truck, someone was dropping off a 20 ft truck, the driver said he rented it 2 weeks ago. How did he end up with a 20ft and not me? This is the 2nd time this happened. My last move 6 years ago the exact same thing happened. I think my next move I'll try another moving company.

Get the pickup location the same as the one originally booked for. You changed my pickup location to a distance oof over 10 miles further. Had to raise hell to get the rental truck at the original pickup spot. Although the truck was clean, it was a horrible trip. Either the engine misfired frequently or the transmission need replaced. The truck constantly jerked and rode like a bucking bronco.

RARELY does it take more than 5 mins to have me on my way. Renting the truck from u-haul was easy, however; we used movinghelp.com based on your recommendation and they never showed up. I booked Double J moving. I called Joe on Wed. to go over things and make arrangements, etc. They never showed up. Never called and never responded to our calls. Left us to unload and carry everything in ourselves. Very poor that you recommend and are even associated with this service.

The man who hooked the trailer up to my vehicle seemed unsure about whether or not the ball was the right fit and said “Eh, you should be fine” after debating whether or not I should get a different ball. That was very unsettling, especially since we were driving 20 hours. Also, our trailer was VERY old and somehow managed to take in water from the rain we ran into. My boxes, pillows, etc were all soaked from the rain and dirty. It got the job done, but it was frustrating since we planned to use those boxes when we move again.

Very disorganized, had to wait over an hour for them to check the vehicle back in, an additional hour to get a storage unit ( had to drive down a steep slope, was very scary)! I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone, it might be the least expensive , the hassle isn’t worth it!
