After I changed the delivery date, it didn't properly show throughout the system. The moving help company, Sergio's, caught the error and worked with the location to resolve it in time. When I called the location to check, they confirmed they already hade it resolved.

Was not happy. There was a Uhaul right across the street from my house that I wanted to return the trailer to and I was made to take it 10 miles away. They had plenty of room for it. You should not inconvenience your customers for your availability purposes. Even worse your making me answer questions about the drop off location if I want to submit this review. I dropped it off at 11 at night when they were closed so I really wouldn't know the answers to those questions at the drop off location.

Ensure computer links all the customer's info. That would make for a totally seamless experience from check out to check in. Aside from that hiccup, U Haul service and equipment wes excellent .

This location is very nice and the staff were extremely busy. They were very professional in every aspect of the transaction. My concern is with U-Haul process. This is the first time encountering an issue after using services for 30 years at numerous locations nationwide. While the staff work well an issue with my driver license. Having a Puerto Rico driver license must not be any different than any other state license. After chatting with customer service, it is at the location discretion to accept a license or not.This location's Staff work well with me, which I am grateful for since it allow me to complete my task. However, I find it unacceptable that a nationwide business encounter issues with territories within their computer systems. There should be a single and simple standard. People rely on this type services for a variety of reasons. If a driver license, more a Real ID license, enables access to a great and important transportation means nationwide why would it create difficulties renting moving equipment?

Check-in/out was seamless. The staff was friendly, informative, and helpful. This was a Great rental experience overall and will use this facility for any future rental needs. We had a pleasant experience. Only thing that we were shocked with was when we did the reservation online and entered everything some how when we arrived they advertised it was canceled. Not sure who or why it reflected canceled but we did not canceled anything. Luckily the Haines City team was able to accommodate us. Besides the reservation hiccup the experience was awesome.

When I tried to submit pictures for my self drop off the option wasn't there. I was charged 3x the amount I was supposed to be charged…

The person put the wrong miles and when I returned the truck they charged me 39 extra miles when I only drove from Orlando to Davenport and from Davenport to where I delivered the car the total was 42 miles and it was 45. They charged me 39 extra miles

I put 3 gallons of gas and you charged me three gallons of gas , and the day before I put 9 gallons of gas in that u haul truck and you charged me two or three gallons of gas agin I estimate the U-Haul trucks at ten miles too a gallon if I'm wrong on how many miles per a gallon these trucks get please let me know thank you Mr Clifton Boyd Robinson... Have more than 1 representative available. The woman checking us in was all alone, she had to keep leaving the desk to hook up trailers.. it took over 30 mins to get a van that was waiting right outside. And nearly as long for another customer who just wanted 1 lamp box she had already paid for online.

Just started using a 5x10 unit at this storage facility in July '24. We had a U-box delivered in Aug and moved to a 10x10 unit. We made several changes within a week and Kelly was superior at re-arranging everything for us. The move-out was quick and painless. She definitely knows her job very well. The facility was very clean and well maintained. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant to talk with. Will definitely recommend this facility to anyone. Location is very convenient for anyone in Haines City and Lake Alfred area. Thank you Kelly for everything you have done for us.

Showed up they did not have my reservation apparently when I was asked to change locations it was not saved. They had me call the other location to let them know I was picking it up here and the other location was not happy with me or this location for doing so. I am extremely dissatisfied radio would not connect to phone made it extremely difficult.

Check out response from on site UHaul staff was untimely. I never heard back from them and had to call the 800 U-Haul line to get my account closed after waiting 4 full days. I would not recommend using this U-Haul storage location. I had this rental 9 months and the cost for this unit is too expensive.

Even though I had a good experience with the equipment and costumer service, the company MUST revise their policy about returning the trucks with more gas than expected. I was supposed to return it with 1/4 and returned with 3/4 tank because I didn't know how much to pour. I did not get a refund or even a credit. I did not receive the phone call from the manager as promised. This situation is unfair since I was moving and my expenses were more than expected. Please consider your costumers.

There was no one here during my drop off but it was covered which was very helpful since it was pouring rain and the drop box was very conveniently located I did not have to go look for it.

Very easy process to rent, pick up and turn in. The van we rented was brand new, great condition. I will always go back to this location and I will recommend to everyone

We came in to rent an auto transport. We were willing to bring it back to this location in order to rent it as "in town" and save money. We were told that they "did not have any in town auto transports, only one way transports. If we wanted an in town rental, we'd have to go to anther Uhaul facility." As there is no one way or in town transport difference with regards to the equipment, I'm assuming they only want to rent out at a higher rate. In the end, instead of two days in town at $128, we had to pay one way for over $240. We did it because we were under time constraints, but I feel that Uhaul held us over a barrel to charge us over $100 more for the same rental we wanted, Unacceptable.

Everything was great and clean. The only issue is the manager or lady in charge needs better communication and customer service skills. Not professional at all. That particular location would get more business if management had more professionalism, need a new manager!!! This my second time renting there and the manager always moody.

Everything was fine overall, but there was one inconvenience on move-in I would like to share since you asked. In the row where my unit was located, there were 2 pick up trucks at the end blocking access into / out of this row of units. Not to make assumptions, but these trucks seemed to belong to employees because during the time I was there moving in they were just parked with no one in sight or anywhere near the vehicles. I drove around and entered the row from the opposite end of the row from where the trucks were parked, but while I was there another storage customer entered the end I entered from and was working for a bit as well. During the time they were there, there was no open way in or out of the row for my vehicle. For me to leave at that point, I would have had to back my SUV all the way down the row (since the row isn't big enough to turn around my vehicle) and ask that customer if they could move for me to back out, as there was not enough space to get by. They ended up leaving before I did so ultimately it wasn't an issue to have to get by them, but it was still a bit precarious to have to back my vehicle all the way down the row (it was getting darker out as well) and be sure not to graze either side while also watching for cars entering the only end that was open. It would have been much easier to drive down the row in one direction, and leave in that same direction. Again, I don't mean to presume that it was employees parked there, I could be wrong about that, but whoever owned the trucks had them parked blocking the entrance / exit of the row and no one was accessing any storage units near them, or otherwise ever came out near the trucks at all, so it seemed they were parked there rather long-term. In the end this wasn't a huge deal, but I did think at the time that if I had been towing a small trailer (which I expect to on an upcoming trip there since I plan to move my stuff from the storage unit to one of your towables which I will tow with my SUV), it would have been a nightmare to have to back a trailer down the long row to get out. So I'm hoping this isn't a common issue on return. I don't mean this to sound overly-critical, but since you asked for feedback I just wanted to share this as it was a concern on my first trip / move-in there.

I transferred to a bigger unit and paid for it. Was moved out of 1st unit before due date and told the office person but you still took the payment for the unit I no longer have. Poor communication and your people were in my new unit because the lock was on differently. They should not go in unless I am notified first. Refund the payment for 779. Merci.

We needed a place to store our items that we need for the winter in Florida. We are renting a house in Florida for a few months and couldn't bring everything in our car. We are happy with the services provided at the U-Haul in Haines City. They provided a safe place for our belongings. A light inside our storage space would have been very helpful. The light from the hallway was not bright enough to put light inside the storage area. Using a flashlight is a must.

My experience with U hall from my move down to Florida from Wisconsin was great took care of all my needs !! And u hall storage Haines city (Kelly) Is a great manager!! The employees lie at arrive after request the free month they told us there no room available. And send me to lake wales and the employee the lake wales help me and told me there space in Haines city. He tranfer the call to customer service and then there room available.
